OK,just a simple question: If for example my Marksman skill is 100 and i put an item that adds +10 to marksman,is my 110 skill better than my previus 100?Why am i asking such a stupid question? Here's why: I noticed that even though i have a security skill of 107 when picking a lock,my skill counts as 100.That means that the rest 7 doesn't count at all.Screenshots:

In Morrowind it did - as I understand it, in Oblivion it does not. In Oblivion, skills max out at 100 no matter what else you do or use, so I'm told. Better to get gear to increase a different lower skill than to waste the points on one you already have maxed.
