is there anyone else out there having the problem with the screen going black, but you can still see the HUB.you have to close the game and reload it for it work again...it happens mainly when talking to someone...is there any fix for this or will the ext patch fix it too..
i have an XFX 7800GTX 256MB AMD 4400+ 64bit Winxp Pro 64bit... 2GB Ram.. |

Actually, that happened to me a couple of times, and I've talked to others who've had the very same problem. For me, it usually happens entirely randomly. It's rare and unpredictable. What I usually do is that I save the game, quit, and restart. When I load the savegame then, everything's back to normal.
It's one of the few serious bugs I've encountered in Oblivion. Sidenote: Interesting. I have an XFX 7800GT 256mb. Wonder if it has anything to do with that specific brand? That, or perhaps it's the nVidia driver. Or something else. Who knows. -------------------- Being good means getting better.
