As I play on and on in this huge game, I keep knocking my head into bugs. One that's really starting to annoy me is quests that won't complete even though you've done everything required. When this happens to side quests, it's annoying. When it happens to fairly central quests, it's intolerable.

I cannot complete the Leyawiin Recommendation quest. I have done everything I need to do, but Dagail will not acknowledge that I have the amulet she needs. She just keeps saying "Nothing has changed, child . . ." I need to force a completion status on this quest, and a couple of other minor ones that suffered from the same bugs.

According to chorrol.com's guide, 'CompleteAllQuestStages' will complete the currently active quest. Not so. This will complete *all* of the game's quests. Not very useful, unless you're done with the game, and have no interest in playing anymore at all. I stumbled across a command called 'CompleteQuest', but this requires a QuestID. Your guide refers to this QuestID parameter; however, nowhere have I been able to find a list of Quest IDs. (Thank you for the list of item IDs, though.)

How can I get a list of QuestIDs? Is this available anywhere else? I've been searching for a good while, with no luck. Thanks.

OK, I have the answer. In order to get your current (active) quest's ID, type in 'ShowQuestTargets' (minus the quotes) into the console. For my troublesome quest, this yields 'MG07Leyawiin'. Unfortunately, the 'CompleteQuest' command does not do what it says it does. It only removes the quest into the completed list, but does *not* actually complete it! The following command *will* complete the quest:

'SetStage MG07Leyawiin 100'

Apparently, '100' is code for successful completion, and '200' is code for unsuccessful (bad? tragic?) completion.

*Phew* That took a lot of searching, and trial & error. Glad I'm past that stupid hurdle.
