i completed the finger of the mountain quest and got a spell that does 200 damage but requires 2000 magicka to use it!!!! whats the point of that as i cant ever see me getting that much magicka together to be able to use it no matter what my lvl...
am i doing something wrong? is it a glitch? is there a way to get that much magicka?  |

That spell is leveled, and is usually much too strong if you do the quest when you are high level. I did it at low level (5 or something), and got a spell that did 20 damage.
It's a known issue, and I know there is a console command for leveling it down to your preference. Sorry I'm at work now, so I don't have my favorite links here, but do a search for "finger of the mountain" on google, and you should find tips about this. Also note that the amount of magicka it requires depends on your destruction skill, like with all spells and their respective schools.
