Well, I found myself lacking in Mabriel's story.... After I bought Oblivion (which, oddly enough, doesn't want to work for me...) I lost track of her. So here's Sirin.

I sat motionless, staring at the blank, stone wall. This wall is all that separates me from the outside. I didn't blink. I didn't even bother to breathe. Life seemed to stop. Here I had sat, in the Imperial prison, for three weeks. Why? I was a criminal. Prison is where all criminals wound up. Foolish reason.... I had asked myself this question for all of the twenty one days I had sat in my cell. Sure, criminals get locked up, but why am I in here? I suddenly drew in a sharp breath. Memories flooded in my mind's eye. I had been betrayed...

Three weeks ago, I, Sirin Kalimian, was a free Redguard. A free, wealthy Redguard, at that. I had led a dishonest, but profitable lifestyle. I had been involved in smuggling, theft, and other various vices. It was risky, yes, but I was good at it. Was good at it. An Imperial patrol had discovered crates of skooma in some commoner's home. The commoner had made a plea to the Thieve's guild before the patrol raided his house. He had needed the money from skooma badly, and would be killed without it. He was reminded that he would be imprisoned, and ran little risk of being murdered. However, he had claimed that he owed the money to the Dark Brotherhood. That's a serious problem... The guild had sent me to retrieve the skooma while it was en route to Castle Anvil. I HAD retrieved the skooma, but had been ambushed afterwards.

The Imperial fools had used the "commoner" to catch me. The Thieve's guild had even helped them, intentionally sending me to my grave, so to speak. I had been beaten and dragged into the prison. So, here I sat. Before I was aware of what I was doing, I caught myself scrawling on the rough stone wall. "Vengeance" "That's right," I said, "I will have vengeance."

That's all I got for now. Evening. I love comments!!! biggrin.gif

Buahahahaha! Update! Well, I'm gonna try to make this worth while. Try to enjoy.... Part 5

"I'm glad you see things my way," gloated the terrible man. "Sirin, are you familiar with diseases?"

I lifted an eyebrow at his random question, but answered honestly. "Yes. Well, I know some of them. The common ones." Even in the darkness, I could see his satisfaction.

"Good, good. Are you familiar with..." He paused suddenly, looking around as if he actually thought someone was listening. "Are you familiar with Lycanthropy?" I leaned against a wall and shook my head. It had only occured to me that he might not share my sharpened vision when he continued. "Perhaps you know of Porphyc Hemophilia?"

My eyes widened slowly. What's he getting at? "Yes, I have." He nodded triumphantly. "It's the....Vampire's Disease."

"Or so they call it," he added hastily. "Lycanthropy is a similar disease. It's symptoms include lust for blood and flesh. However, it shows itself only on certain evenings."

If my eyes could have gotten any wider, they did. "On a full moon?" I asked in a choked voice. I had never heard of the proper name of it, but the "disease" itself was known to me. The man developed a sudden, proud gleam in his eye.

"That's right. The victim, if you can call it that, tends to...change under the light of a full moon. His hair grows rapidly, and his body takes on the form of..."

"A werewolf," I interrupted.

"That's right, again," he cried joyously. He gradually took on a softer, darker tone. "One hundred and thirty-two years ago, I was inflicted with Lycanthropy." I shrank against the wall. This man is a werewolf. "Since then, I have searched out fellow werewolves, and we have formed a strong allegiance. However, we have been pestered continuously by the vampires of Nirn. Because of the constance of their vampirism, though, they have been able to harass us while our powers await the full moon.

"Some of us have found, or even developed, magical artifacts that allow us to change at will, but the remainder lie waiting for the moon. Our strength, though always available, is no match for their speed and grace. Our numbers are dwindling. I have watched you for some time now. You are a prime candidate to fill our ranks."

"You want ME to become a werewolf?" I cried, cowering even farther back into the wall. "I can't do it. I WON'T do it!"

"Oh, trust me," the werewolf...man said threateningly. "You WILL become one of us. You have no choice." He slowly stood, closed his eyes, and stretched out his arms. Upon one of his hands, I saw a silver ring with a ruby stone embedded in it. The ruby glowed, and the man changed.

I stood shaking, and slid over to a corner. The man started to shrink, at first. He grew hunched, and grey hair shot from his body. He threw his shirt and pants off as a sickening cracking filled my cell. His face became much longer, until it was that of a wolf. His nails turned into claws. All this consumed only fifteen seconds. My back slid down the corner, and I sat trembling on the floor. The beast turned, and walked toward me. Raising a clawed hand, he sliced me across the chest, digging deep into my flesh. Then it was over, and the next thing I knew, the grey haired man was standing against the other wall.

A guard burst into the room, and demanded an explanation for the ruckus. The lycan cried out that I had attacked him, and he defended himself. The guard looked doubtingly at the deep scratches in my chest, but escorted the man out regardless. I was left in the darkness, trying painfully to cry out in objection. What's happening to me?
