Oblivion IS a great game, but i do have, One Gripe...maybe two. Options

Yes, Yes, Yes. I love Oblvion, I love the new factions and the voices.

But, and I sure some of you will agree with me.....the Daedric Dagger,...looks like a dagger....not like the morrowind version. WHAT THE HECK>?>?@@!!

I loved the morrwind Version






I mean LOOk at it!!! It is a thing of beauty!! It was the staple to all Short Blade enthusiasts everywhere!


sigh....Ill just wait for the next mod for it I guess...

In Morrowind you can make it the throwing variety if you really want to. Right click in the weapons list in TESCS, click New, fill in the ID & name, choose "throwing knife" when it calls for weapon type and then in the ArtFile, click and browse your second disk until you find the Mesh for the Daedric Dagger. Choose it and do likewise for the Icon slot. Then Save. Now you should have a Daedric Throwing Dagger. You can set the stats the way you want them. Cool, huh?

Another of my favorite weapon recreations was to turn Claymores into one-handed swords that were powerfully long and that way I could use a shield too.
