 Oblivion simply doesn't open, Menu appears but no game |

So I went out and bought Oblivion (finally) and after ripping it open and installing it I was getting kind of excited. And then I opened it and the menu came up, I chose the lowest options, then clicked play. And then....Nothing. Not even a black screen. If I open tast manager I can see it running in there but theres nothing happening. Anything that will make it go? My computer is a crap one but it meets minimum and I fully expect lag but I didn't expect to be greeted with nothingness.

Patches are made to fix glitches. And your glitch might fix with the patch.
