The door opened and Flint went inside, remembering just in time that he shouldn’t reveal his familiarity with the building. He waited till he was led to the living room.
,,Give me your weapons.” His guide grunted. Flint shrugged and handed over the knife.

There, on a couch, sat the man he was looking for. Lacking eyes, a tongue and his hands, he wasn’t the prettiest. Flint bowed despite the futility of such an action.
,,I have come here to collect the bounty for the man known as Flint Ironwood. Call me….Arygon.” He said. He silently thanked the death thief whose name he just borrowed.

,,I am the spokesman of sir Ironwood. I can tell you that he would be very pleased if you gave us any proof before we pay you.” A big Nord who stood next to Flint’s father responded.
Flint nodded as he opened a small bag and took out…a hand.
,,This is the hand I took from my prey. I can assure you that everything else is as death as this hand.” Flint told them as he showed the Daedric rune that had been carved into the hand’s skin.

The Nord opened a large chest and took out one of the many pouches that were inside. The pouch looked like it was filled to the point of bursting with Septims.
,,Here is your pay, Arygon. Don’t hesitate to serve my master again.”
Flint catched the pouch and opened it to see if the money was actually inside. He’d never thought he would get paid for faking his own assassination.
,,Now I can retire.”

He closed the bag and turned around, only to stare down on the blade of a sword held by the man who’d brought him here..
,,Tsk, you’ve gotten careless, Flint. To show your face here will be a fatal mistake, Or did you expect that I wouldn’t recognize you? Kill him.”
Flint didn’t wait for the Nord to finish speaking. There were three people in this room, and one of them was unable to fight at all. Flint did a backflip while he used a short burst of Telekinesis to grab the sword out of the guard’s hand. He spun around while he landed in front of the Nord and performed a clean cut across his throat before spinning around again and stabbing the sword through the guard’s chest.

Both of his victims crumpled to the floor. Flint picked up his dagger and moved back towards the disfigured and helpless shape of his father.
,,Sorry, but I won’t let you hunt me again. Say hello to mum for me.” He spoke as he drew the knife across his father’s throat.

Before leaving, Flint took two more bags of septims from the chest. He’d use two to pay Selie for her hospitality and the other one for when he retired. But first, there was still business waiting for him in Skyrim. After dropping the money and the borrowed knife of at her house without being noticed, Flint dug up his gear underneath a tree and cast a recall spell that would take him to the burned out inn in Lainlalten.
,,I hope the others are fine.”
