I managed to talk my mom into giving me 160 dollars a month for college. Granted, many kids have higher allowances that are, well, like 10, but I was never one of those kids to receive an allowance. Occasionally I'd negotiate shoveling the driveway for 15 dollars then paying some kid two younger than me 5 for the same job, or I'd get 10 dollars to replace all of our unchopped wood with the neighbors already chopped wood, but there was never a regular thing going on.
I made the argument now that I quit stealing I was going to be completely broke, my schedule was way too full for a job, and though all of the campus necessities are paid for with my college money as soon as I walk off campus I might as well be homeless. Yep, 160 a month now. -------------------- A man once asked the Buddha, "How does one escape the heat of the summer sun?"
