Dalrus's eyes seemed to be engulfed in flame, as they usually went when she was angry. "And democracy lets anyone have a say in something when they have no knowlege of what they are voting for. It brings former great empires to their knees in a mix of pure deceit, greed, slander, hate, and rivalry. Democracy makes it so the people in the government are too afraid to lose their position to do anything good. Democracy, no, is not what saves people's lives." she took a breath. "You say innocents die during Monarchy, yes but they always die. If someone in Democracy wants to do something about it, that person a war mongering dictator," she looked him straight in the eyes. The fire subsided from hers revealing her extremely emerald green eyes. |
