How do you past the court yard in front of the church? I jump on top of the wall an see someone stuck in a cell. Yet, cannot get over the fence. Tried sucking up to Matius and the people in the church..nothing. So what am I missing?

You need to go through the catacombs of the church, where there some baddies down there. Then that takes you out the place that leads to the gate release sight, but you have to get past a lot of enemies to do so.
Following your arrows should help ya, as long as you have the right quest activated. I think it's called Free Kvatch or Liberating Kvatch or something like that. -------------------- I am currently a Writer in The Order of Schola.
