Wasn't sure if this would go in Fan Fic, or in General. So I figured put it in General, where its sort of 'anything goes' type of attitude.

I would like to make two points here.

1.) This is'nt about bragging rights, so please dont post anything like: "MY BABBLEMAGE Is Lebel 34890!! I HAVE DDric Armyor w CE Chemeleoen!!! My Character can kick your character in the can!"

2.)I am simply interested into how your characters are 'translated' into Morrowind or Oblivion Stats.

So Ill go first.

Name: Sethyas Velas

Race: Dark Elf

Class: Assassin, Games Version. Not Custom.

General Level: I feel he peaked at about 32, then kind became the invincible shadow after that.

Strength: 120/100 Corprus enhanced

Intelligence: 90/100 lotsa alchemy, plus RP wise, an assassin must always use his wits

Willpower: 32/100, Im not exactly a Spellcaster

Agility: 100, I fired a lot of arrows, and took a LOT of hits on my light armor

Speed: 100, Stabbed a lot of folks with a dagger, and ran all over Vvardenfell. Not sure if there is a bandit cave I missed, but I am looking!

Personality: 40/100 - Sethyas is not what I view as a big talker, nor is he a speechcraft extrardanaire, usually using bribes to get information. The unfortunate consequence of being an assassin tends to make one quiet, and paranoid. Sethyas is this, and yet those who have come to know him a bit will find an unwavering loyalty, unless they are his marks on a writ. Another unfortunate consequence of being an Assassin.

Endurance: 80/55/100, 55 is my actual, as I havent done a whole lot of Spear or heavy Armors, 80 is from the Corprus.

Luck: 50/100 He always seems to make those long jumps.....

Basic Appearance: The Shoulder Length parted Dark Hair, with the Black Hand face, in-game.

Clothing/Armor: I try to RP as well I can while playing Morrowind, so I usually wear Dark Brotherhood Armor while hunting Bandits, or am out in the open fields.

While doing Writs for the Tong, I put the brown robe with the hood down over the armor, and wore the common gloves instead of the gauntlents for the public writs, and imagined my character was wearing the hood.

As for the 'downtime' I also try to RP my Character having a normal life, during which I will wear a series of common clothes. I dont see Sethyas having a flair for expensive or flashy clothing, despite his coffers being to the point of overflowing.

Major Skills

Sneak 100
Shortblade 100
Marksman 100
Light Armor 87 Getting there
Acrobatics 100 Just jump everywhere you go.

Minor Skills
Long Blade 67, You need at least one 'Heavy Battle Skill' i think
Athletics 71, some training, but mostly running around
Alchemy 88 LOTS of potions,....I really need those. Love Abelle Chriditte for her Grandmaser Apparatus...
Block, 22...not too fond of sheilds apparently
Security 66, picked a lot of locks too.

My View of my Character.

I see Sethyas as 'Chaotic Good'. He is skillful in his art and considers self-control to be the true mark of wisdom and power, though he takes lives, he does not necessarily feel guilt for executing a writ, as his mind is extremely philisophical and analytical in nature, he assumes death to be a part of life, and that all fears projected to death are merely fears.

He is not above using stealth and deception to acheive a goal, indeed, an assassins art is mostly in deception. It is being careful in not allowing ones self to go beyond what is needed that keeps Sethyas in Check, to some people gold is more important than ones situation in life. To Sethyas, gold cannot buy a good conversation, or the love of a good woman, these things come from being the type of person that people want to talk to and love. A difficult balance to achieve in being an Assassin, but one he strives for nonetheless.

So there is a basic template, follow your own path, and entertain me with your vivid desriptions and stats.

Ones I look forward to seeing, but not necessarily limited too:

Serene

Trey of High Rock

Simion Mandrake - yes mallet, I want him to have some stats!!

Tellie

etc. (Really, too many others for me too remember off the top of my head.)

Edit. You're right mallet, I did forget personality!

First I must explain some complicating factors ...
  • I played Rashelle through all quests. She had done it all. I thusly retired the character in January of 2007 and rolled up Rashelle again, with the same starting stars/choices. So there are two Morrowind Rashelle characters: v1 and v2. I did this because, I enjoyed playing her immensely and wanted to do so again.
  • In game Rashelle differs from fanfic Rashelle. I had to tone her down for the fanfic. In the game, she's leader/head/master/archmaster of everything and can fight through any dungeon any place any time with any weapons. smile.gif This is not realistic for fanfic. Fanfic Rashelle did major quests in a different order: in-game Rashelle v2 has done Tribunal but not the Morrowind main quest. She has done the Raven Rock quests but has not done the Bloodmoon main quest.
  • I've still got gaps in her back-story.
Because of the above, I maybe should skip the numbers part of this reply? Hmm: I'll use the current Rashelle v2 stats.

Name: Rashelle

Race: Breton

Class: Spellsword

Birth Sign: Atronach (mine as well, if I were in MW: weee!!)

General Level: Hard to say, current game character is at 38 and Rashelle v1 was at level 70 or so.

Strength: 99

Intelligence: 94

Willpower: 92

Agility: 98

Speed: 112 ("Northern Winds" plug-in)

Personality: 88

Luck 40: (higher in the fanfics, obviously!)

Endurance: 100 - in-game Rashelle started off right away using *only* spear and mostly heavy/medium armor. She received a 5x bonus on endurance every time she leveled up.

Basic Appearance: "raven" black hair, straight, almost always in a pony tail: an unusual color for a Breton. Her eyes are also this color, which is very unusual. While not a magical power as such, her penetrating gaze tends to stop conversation and can cause "deer in the headlights" effect (how would you say that in MW slang?). She has light skin, like most Bretons, despite life outdoors. Her height is average for a Breton. And, of course ... she's cute!

Clothing/Armor: While it is understood to be a normal feminine trait to vary one's outfit, Rashelle instead wears the same thing day-to-day, varying slowly over time: adamantium boots, dark brotherhood greaves, ebony cuirass, Chrysamere in a back-sheath (it's too long for her to wear it at her side) and a back pack. In-game Rashelle right now has added adamantium bracers to the ensemble and I might add those in a post-Lokken story.

As for the 'downtime' attire, Rashelle has an odd paranoid habit: she knows it is strange but won't break it because it has saved her at least once already in a fanfic. The habit is: most of the time she sleeps in full armor, unsheathed sword clutched in her hands.

real age: I'm not sure. Possible in her mid to late 20s? The Nerevarine/corprus thing kinda make this irrelevant anyway?

Major Skills
  • block 100
  • restoration 81
  • long blade 100
  • destruction 94
  • alteration 73
Minor Skills
  • blunt weapon 93
  • enchant 56
  • alchemy 94
  • axe 100
My View of my Character:

I guess in D&D terms she would be neutral good: she's had Chaos moments in that she is annoyed at authority and by people telling her what to do and by organizations like the Imperial Legion, but her Redoran values nudge her to Law at other times. Rashelle will do what she thinks is Right, regardless of consequence and regardless of who is offended/annoyed. She keeps her word: she does not commit to things lightly. When not being misled by mad goddesses, she tends to do the Right Thing.

Rashelle tends to speak what is on her mind, without thinking. I share this habit with her, but it works much better for her than for me. sad.gif

She is the best friend you could ever have. She will do anything for a friend. Rashelle is loyal. If you hurt her friends, she will hunt you and she will find you, no matter how far you run.

She is the worst enemy you could ever have. The key word here is RELENTLESS.

For Rashelle, Love is as deep & intense as her other emotions. This will eventually be covered in a future story.

She grew up in a warm climate where snow was unknown (I have not decided where this will be, I need to brush up on Lore to decide on the right area). Despite this, she has a strong affinity to cold.

She is an orphan. No one has any idea where she came from or who her parents were. She has the appearance of a Breton so, according to Lore, her mother had to have been a Breton. Her cold affinity makes it likely that her father was a Nord.

Game Lore indicates that she came to Vvardenfell on an Imperial prison ship. I still have to to come up with a reason for her being in prison. Was it for a crime, was she framed? Or is she a political prisoner?

In the game, skill with bows and skill at throwing darts/spears is one skill. In the fanfics, I've split them up into two skills. It seems more realistic and works better for me. smile.gif Fanfic Rashelle is terrible with bows, terrible! However, anything she throws, will tend to hit its target. smile.gif

She hates swimming.

Err, I guess that's all I can think of. Most of the above can be ascertained from bits here & there in the stories.
