Archmage's Legion (possible spoilers), Adding deployable battlemages Options

Don't read on if you don't want to know what happens at the end of the Mage Guild quests.


Being the new Archmage is great, and all, but the position always seemed limited to me. Getting an apprentice to follow me around is nice, but since my character is modeled after a battlemage, my sidekick usually dies quickly. Traven was at least able to deploy some battlemages.

So, I propose giving the new archmage the ability to have battlemages follow him/her into battle.

Having a trio (or so) of battlemages lending a hand would be great asset for a magic based character, giving your character a option other than running away every time you see an overpowered goblin. I don't know how to mod, so if anyone would like to take up this project, you will have the thanks of magic users everywhere.
