Milanius, Reason for him being banned. Options

hm, I thought I'd make this just to make sure there are no misunderstandings about this.

Milanius has asked me to remove his account, and I've obliged him. This isn't the first time he's asked me this, in fact he's asked me more times then I can remember, but before now I've tried my best to persuade him otherwise. In the end however, I feel it's his account and as with anyone else, if someone wants their account removed I will oblige them.

The reasons for his request are of a personal nature, and it's not my place to disclose them. I've mentioned this to him, and I still believe, I don't think this is the best way to deal with it, but again, it's his prerogative to choose to have his account removed.



Again, the only reason I'm mentioning this in public, is because I'm certain quite a few people will wonder why his account now reads as banned, and I think it's safe to say, that quite a few people, along with me, are going to miss him and his contributions to our community.

Mil, what are you playing at mate????? If you can't cope with this at the minute - for whatever reason - take a break for a while. No need to leave permanantly...

If an account is deleted, it's gone. No way to bring those back. If it's banned, then it can be unbanned, though that's never been done before, and will likely never be done except for a very special circumstance.

I am supposed to be working, but this is enough to make me de-lurk for a moment. First- thank you, Alexander, for letting us know what is going on. I had noticed tha Mil wasn't around, but assumed it was just a case of RL being a spotted owl. And I know this wasn't really intended to be a long thread, but... well, crap. Mil, I hope you know I consider you a friend. That means I respect your autonomy, even if I don't agree with all your decisions. If ever you want to reincarnate here, or if ever you want to just talk about nothing of consequence, I will be glad of it. And that's is all I have to say about that.
