Well if you are jealous mALX you are more than welcome to join us!!! The more the merrier.

So Grits, you like the chocolate dipped pretzels? I have white chocolate dipped, semi-sweet dipped and white chocolate with semi sweet swirls. I also have chocolate dipped cherries in the same assortment (this is the first year I have tried them and they are quite delectable) But if I don't find a place to hide them from the kids there won't be any left, lol.

Tomorrow will be Broken Glass Candy making all day. I make several flavors of hard candy and it is usually a bigger hit than the chocolate concoctions. It's fun stuff.

So come on ya'll, we'll just have a big time eating stuff we shouldn't, drinking stuff we shouldn't and being scrooges.....

HHMM I wonder if I can figure out how to make hard candy with tequila????? What was that you said about "Women Gone Wild"????

"I nin't grink nuttin occifer, it wuz jus cccaannnnnnnnndy, weally!"

I was trying to decide which of the idiot girls I was in the video when I had an epiphany. I'm the one holding the camera and yelling to the friend, "You can make it!!"

Now as far as Christmas decorations, I'm having a bow issue. I can't find my candycane striped bows for the wreaths. I have naked wreaths on the front of my house. This is a problem.

Well, you can wrap the staff of your bow with red ribbon, but you have to be careful that the fletching of your arrows doesn’t get caught - oh, wait. . . um, nevermind. embarrased.gif

Lol - I knew that !!! ROFL !!

An alternate trimming for the wreaths:

Look in your garage for gold and cranberry colored paint. (Oxblood color works for cranberry). Spray some small leaves with the gold paint and stick them around in the wreath. The Oxblood paint for the berries ... hmm, what can you use for berries... didn't you have a pet cat? Er... never mind.

Now, for a bright red bow to tie at the bottom. If your husband happens to be a collector/restorer of antique or classic cars (especially the muscle cars) - they usually have bright red seats. Cut a strip off one seat approximately 1.3 inches wide and....

WOW now I have to decide which one I should be I suppose...hhmm, unfortunately it's probably the little girl on the ATV...lol. Yes, I have had a few run ins with inanimate objects, unfortunately they tend to withstand the onslaught much better than I did.

And I am not even going to touch the whole "what can you use for berries thing", nope I'm not....

I like Acadian's idea...oh, wait, nevermind....might throw off the aim a bit and we wouldn't want that, might end up in a youtube vid depicting the Christmas version of Women Gone Wild....

AND what exactly would be the problem with all of us getting together, I don't see it, I mean heck, the entire world would be laughing, what's the problem?

mALX, the vids were great btw

Naked wreaths you say...where in the world is Foxy??????

Lol, I probably could have been any of the women in the vid doing the stupid stunts - and was def one of the drivers, lol.

I was grossing my own self out with the berries idea. I mean, even with the clumping cat litter it was too gross to continue that joke, I have to eat sometime, ROFL !!!

I won't admit that I've ever personally bought those shellacked turds on a layer of puffy cotton in a box from those "gag gift shops" - and slid cash underneath as a gift for friends - or video taped them removing the turd to get the cash.

And I agree, yeah ... where is Foxy?

And exactly how much was the "Turd on cotton batting" anyway??? Just wondering in case I want to get one.

Trey and I were trying to decide exactly where it would be safe for us to have this get together....the safety of the planet was his first concern, open field was a thought....but grass is flammable and well, mud is just out but the vids might be interesting. Siberia was mentioned but nixed since we are just now back on speaking terms with the Russians....so I guess we are relegated to tormenting cyber space for eternity, until Oblivion...Talk about dousing flames, dang it!!!!

ANYWAY, I am still making candy!!! Anyone that is "Scrooging" for the holidays?? The planet may or may not survive but the fun would be well worth the danger, I like adrenalin......GET OUT YOUR WEAPONS GIRLS, THIS IS GOING TO A HOLIDAY TO REMEMBER!!!!

$9.95 for a regular sized mud monkey, or you can purchase the (whopper sized) corn dragon for 19.95 (think South Park) at Spencer's Gifts, ROFL !!
