It was all the way off in Lexington Kentucky, but the jolt was felt as far away as Atlanta and Pittsburg according to the Weather Channel - it ran down a fault line probably (all of ETN/KY is sitting on a huge fault line). But the shock went through all of ETN.

Anyway, so that's how my day started out.

And then an earthquake! Good grief. I hope everything's OK. I would probably not have noticed an earthquake here today. The Boy has been playing a new shooting game.

Halo 4 I bet. I just bought that one. Maybe I'll find time to play it too.

Halo 4 came out and my son didn't spend months begging me for it? He must be buying it with his own money! Urk, they grow up so quickly!

I've been in a 7.2 here years back, it hit quickly and then stopped - this was not as hard hitting as that one, but it kept going and going - then left behind some kind of odd air pressure afterward. Everyone got a severe headache.

Col. B. and I fought for control of the Tylenol bottle, then both tottered to our respective corners to sleep it off, lol.

I am now, I was just freaked out by how long it lasted and that strange air pressure afterward. We had no actual damages that we've noticed yet.

Glad to hear you're okay, mALX! I'll bet that was scarier than closing an Oblivion Gate! ohmy.gif

Hey guys! I just posted this in the 'now reading' thread, but I thought I'd share it here.

Recently I discovered purchased a book from Kindle called The Crew: Farron and the Xerxes. It's really good!

It's a short story which I think is planned to be a weekly series. It's kinda like Buffy and Charmed, or at least goes along with that theme, but it is really original and it's pretty darn exciting.

It's set in an English town called Farron and follows three teens who each have their own individual demon fighting skills. I'm rubbish at describing, but check out the book and find out for yourself!

AAAAAND my good deed for the day is done. Haha

Ha ha I really do love it! I only worry that if it doesn't get enough intrest the writer will stop doing them, so i'm trying to get an many people interested as possible! haha. Very worth the read if you like that sort of thing.

Yeah! You are a full member now, the PM I sent you finally went through, lol.

If King Of Beasts is reading this - I think you have to make a couple posts on the general forum to open up your PM box.

@ EVERYONE - I will be going to visit my mom for a couple weeks, leaving tonight. As most of you know, she has cancer with no prognosis. I don't know how I'll stand seeing her and knowing it‘s for the last time, but couldn't take not seeing her one last time either. I'm going to stay as long as I can, but should be back by early December. Thank you all for the friendship and support you’ve given me through this.

Anyone posting stories - I'll catch up when I return.

Boy , I missed a lot, you'll be in my thoughts mALX!
*bear hug*!!

But yes, I am back, my computer decided that working was overrated a while back! I'm almost face palming myself, since the first times that I tried to come here my Ps3 froze, using it's browser, the fix was simple, make a new Ps3 user and use that browser, I feel silly!
It does feel like i'm coming back home though! The Ps3 keyboard is like you're texting....
