I'm getting made fun of by my coworkers for having a southern accent. In Texas. This is why I curb it. I'm really sensitive about my stupid accent, and they won't let up. I keep having to speak a little slower so there's no trace, and every tome I catch myself I turn red.

No no no, you´re approachiing the problem all wrong! Instead of giving in you should talk with the accent even more and really throw it in their faces every time you talk to them or are around them! That way it won´t be as funny for them in the long run to make fun of you. That´s my experience with douchebags anyway, and I really had douchebags at my job!
