			 Here's an unpopular opinion:
Guns are awesome. That's right, civilian gun ownership.

So not unpopular with me! Last year I did the next best thing I can; I got electric powered BB versions of the Ingram MAC10 and the AK47!! The AK actually features real woodwork and metal, so its actually quite heavy!

I have always felt the same. Not trusting myself with one. But I have not thought about suicide in a long, long time, so I might be ok with one. I have been giving some thought to it lately. I suppose to be prepared in case of a zombie apocalypse if nothing else. I was thinking maybe something like a Smith & Wesson 4506, or one of the 'modern' Colt 1911's. They were made to stop a charging horse, they ought to work just fine against a zombie or living human This post has been edited by SubRosa: Jan 26 2015, 06:25 PM

I've got a pretty large number. Over 30 at last count. It includes single shots, bolt actions, semi automatics, and revolvers.
My favorite has got to be the Springfield XDM. Guns are definitely dangerous if you don't handle them properly but are otherwise safe so long as they're in proper working condition.

			 Here's an unpopular opinion:
Horses. I hate them. They aren't majestic or impressive in many ways. They're dumb, quick to panic, and dangerous.

They were, however, very useful to our ancestors...

Goodness! That IS unpopular. Certainly among certain clans of elves. . . . My elf does agree that they can be quick to panic and dangerous however. Oh, and they do have plenty of horse sense, you know, so maybe not dumb either. And, at least in Buffy's dictionary, if she looks up majestic or impressive, there's a picture of the horse-crazy elf's mare!

I've got real life experience being dragged and thrown by them so it is possible that I'm jaded.

QUOTE(Kiln @ Feb 6 2015, 07:49 PM) I've got real life experience being dragged and thrown by them so it is possible that I'm jaded. That's what I figured. I almost asked whether you had been thrown, had your foot stepped on or both. My real life experience is primarily with the the real Superian. She was my grandfather's mare and the granddaughter of Gallant Fox (Gallant Fox, in 1930, became the second Triple Crown winner in history). Anyway, when my grandfather got her, the filly was so young that he carried her in his arms to put her in the back of his truck for the trip home to his ranch. She grew into a beautiful thoroughbred and, as a hunter-jumper, filled his basement with blue ribbons. A typical thoroughbred, the leggy mare was skittish, high-strung and every bit a 'one man horse'. She and my grandfather adored each other though. Yep, I was in awe of her and she was majestic to me. When it came time for my character to name her horse, the choice was easy.
