QUOTE(Renee @ Oct 7 2015, 06:52 PM) QUOTE(mALX @ Oct 5 2015, 05:59 PM) I LOVE these vids !!!!
Me too! The action is great, but I'm ecstatic to see Decrepit is like me: He walks through the game, does not run impatiently like some other gamers I've seen. There's something so mature about this sort of gameplay. When my 20 year-old nephew games for instance, he just runs runs runs... Makes me dizzy. Love the pics too. I've seen the book-reading one before; that's one of my faves! Whoa, so that's what Vilja sounds like? Cool. Wow. I've heard her voice spoken by some Better Cities NPCs. Whoa, you also shoot arrows in 3rd person! ... That's what I do too. How are you able to have Vilja (an NPC) mount a horse too? Is that you singing? Lol, you're brave Decrepit, I'd be so shy! My avatar runs only when absolutely necessary. Even ahorse he travels at a walking pace the vast majority of the time. In fact I reduced Arrowspeed's running speed in TES4edit to better reflect what I feel is practical for a heavily armored warrior atop an armored mount. Yeah. As mentioned in other forums, during normal Oblivion game-play I remain in third-person a good 98-99% of the time. That I switched to first-person for his prolonged look at the Imperial City during video episode three is a concession to my non existent viewing audience. I had began to realize that even in a third-person-centric environment certain scenes come off as more immersive 'on film' in first-person. Had I continued to produce I'd almost surely have incorporated more fist-person views. Once the camera stopped rolling I'd almost as certainly have reverted to my normal perspective ratio. Vilja is pretty sophisticated. She knows to mount and dismount when my avatar does. As to what passes as singing in my videos, I'm with you in that I could not be forced to sing in public. I let myself do so in the videos because: 1) During normal game-play my avatar often hums ditties to while away the hours on patrol duty. I often vocalize aloud at those times. As these videos document my normal play-style I felt it was only proper to include this element. 2) I admit to reality. I'm a bad singer. He's a bad singer. Neither of us has any illusions to the contrary. We both make light of our lack of vocal prowess. I attempt to convey this to the audience, treating his off-pitch warblings as something of a running joke. As such, they cause no embarrassment. Those humming and "warbling" moments were one of my favorite parts of the vids; that was so realistic and believable that the man would hum or sing to himself to while away the hours - that was one of those things that made these vids so immersive and fun to watch! These were pure entertainment for me!

Whoa, another Lothie pic. Sometimes I forget what he looks like, his pic intervals can be so long (kidding). I wonder what he was ordering from the Oak and Crossier menu? h.e.r.: what medium is that? Looks like colored pencils? QUOTE(SubRosa @ Oct 7 2015, 08:26 PM) Now we just need Lady Mara's Skarsgard...
Oh my gosh, yea, this is true. Did she ever finish that Cyrodiil pub crawl? That was fun times. QUOTE(Lopov @ Oct 8 2015, 04:43 AM) QUOTE(Decrepit @ Oct 9 2015, 07:23 AM)

No, the singing is AWESOME. That's my favorite part of the video. In general, I enjoy the fact that you stay "in character" as you're gaming. This post has been edited by Renee: Oct 9 2015, 09:53 PM

-Yeah, can I have a watered down ale with basically no flavour left? -Sorry sir, we don´t have that. -Oh, then why did you give it to me last time I was here..? ....

BWAAHAA!!! QUOTE(Renee @ Oct 14 2015, 08:43 PM) Sarah has an absolutely gorgeous and natural looking face! I was torn between the last two as my favorite in this set; but "Conversation with a Stranger" wins it. I love the expression on her face, she absolutely looks real and human in that shot! What a great character you have made in Sarah! It shows on her face! QUOTE(Renee @ Oct 14 2015, 08:43 PM) GAAAAAAH! I didn't see this screen, how did I miss it? This is awesome, she is working!!! I love this shot too!

Thnaks all! I mean, thanks all! The cooking shot is photoshopped. I believe I did use Actors Ball (whatever that pose mod is called) to get her hands in the right place, then I copy/pasted a pot in front of her, and then I crudely drew in a stirring stick for her. Only thing I forgot was the fire. There is an animation mod I was looking at which is supposed to allow menial tasks, but it's one of those resource mods, and I don't know how to make these into a plug-in yet.
