QUOTE(Acadian @ Aug 14 2017, 02:27 PM) Checked out some of the base game tweaks after the new patch. Quite a few changes to traits and mundus stones. And CP660 is the new cap. After balking on countless costumes for the last several updates, Buffy was drawn to the new Falkreath Thane costume. It met plenty of things on her checklist: It has a waist! The feet are not huge. Knee-length mage type robe over pants. No shoulder flappers. No hip flappers. The only downside on preview was no utility pouch and it is a bit pricey at 1500 C. So I got it for her and she took it straight to the dye station. Happily, she was able to dye it nicely to her colors of forest green and buckskin tan. Happy elf! Link to the patch notes? Or copy/paste the changes to Mundus and traits? QUOTE(Acadian @ Aug 14 2017, 03:36 PM) Khajiit, pic coming right up! Grits, 'elf butt' Buffy in her new Falkreath Thane costume.D'aaaaaw!!! QUOTE(hazmick @ Aug 14 2017, 03:51 PM) I previewed the outfit with Ciri, but she wasn't a fan. Buffy, on the other hand, looks absolutely fantastic in it! Though now I'm hesitantly curious to see what Jerric means by 'elf butt'. We did, however, purchase a new pet. All of the pets we had were bought by/for Haa-Rei so I thought it was time Ciri had one of her own. Aw, it is cute!

QUOTE(Grits @ Aug 15 2017, 01:22 PM) Hazmick, I love Ciri’s wolf pet! That is a fantastic picture of them. I have no idea what style armor she is wearing, but she looks magnificent! The snow makes a perfect backdrop. As dear Buffy intuited, “elf butt” is Jerric saying “less meaty than a Nord” with his usual degree of tact. (I should note that even Nords do not escape Jerric’s indelicate commentaries. He recently described cousin Elke and her beloved Palomino as “that big blonde mare and her horse.”) That's definitely more of a Bosmer butt - Cirinwe's an elf, and she's a big girl (full muscle sliders ftw). That armour she's wearing is one of the Wrothgar costumes, just with the bear helmet hidden.

Has anyone been following the changes to the Mundus Stones? I noticed they patched a new change since last week, but haven't seen anything new in the Patch notes since those on July 10 when they announced they would be changing them.
(I bolded the three we already have). Here is what they said then:
* The Apprentice: Increased Spell Damage to 238 from 167.
The Atronach: Increased Magicka Recovery to 238 from 167.
* The Lady: Now grants Spell Resistance in addition to Physical Resistance. Value increased to 2752 from 1980.
The Lover: Now grants 2752 Physical and Spell Penetration instead of granting Spell Resistance.
The Lord: Increased Max Health to 2231 from 1452.
The Mage: Increased Max Magicka to 2028 from 1320.
The Serpent: Increased Stamina Recovery to 238 from 167.
The Steed: Increased Health Recovery to 238 from 167.
The Thief: Reduced Critical Strike Chance to 9% from 11%.
The Tower: Increased Max Stamina to 2028 from 1320.
* The Warrior: Increased Weapon Damage to 238 from 167.
The Shadow and The Ritual remain unchanged."
Notice the Nerfing on the Thief stone? Not sure if we should get that stone right away till we see how badly the nerf affects our gameplay. And Ritual's explanations seemed awfully vague in the Wiki; does anyone use it that can give a clear idea of what it does? Just saying it remains unchanged is as vague as the Wiki's "increases healing effectiveness" without giving any percentages or details.
Let us really discuss these if possible; most especially if you notice any changes in your gameplay since the patch and whether it is going to change which Mundus you use, etc. I am really concerned about that reduction in the Thief; its effectiveness was questionable before, which is why Misa tended more toward the Shadow since the last time they nerfed the Thief. Now they are doing it again? Urgh.
But the biggest concern is in that the Mundus stones are actually costing real world money to buy them, not in game gold. I don't care how much I spend in game gold, it is easy come/easy go. But real world funds = I want to make sure what we get is going to benefit us. I hope to get all the Mundus stones eventually; but the order we do it in (I want to be from most productive to least).
So if anyone is having any issues since the patch nerfing/changes; please let us hear about it.
* Britta is using "The Lord," and so far has - if anything, liked the changes better than the previous.

QUOTE(haute ecole rider @ Aug 24 2017, 08:58 AM) I am trying to recall who uses what - unfortunately I don't pay as much attention to the Mundus stones as I should . . .
I've used Thief, Shadow and Serpent Stones, but never really paid much attention to their effects. Maybe I would if I used Divines trait on my toons' armor . . .
If the Thief is truly nerfed as it seems, then I would go for the Shadow Stone as the next purchase.
I agree; on my early characters (before One Tamriel) I used to just get mine whichever stone I came across in my travels and stick with it unless I found a better one. Once I had access to whichever I wanted, I was better able to plan out which to use and by then Misa was in Divines, so it made a huge difference which I chose. Britta is in all Nirnhoned, so with her I used to just take the Lord Stone for its health boost. Really thinking about trying the Lady for the added shielding now though, it really sounds good since the patch (but only if she isn't already at the ceiling on shielding allowed by game). I'll have to check it out to see what her stats do. If the change isn't worth it, I'll stick with the Lord stone on her. It will really be nice when we get all the stones so we can do our own testing stats and tweaking our builds right here in our own Guild Hall. ** Anyone else have a request for the next Mundus Stone? QUOTE(Acadian @ Aug 24 2017, 11:00 AM) Here's my thinking on Thief. Sorc's heal on crits, up to once per second via their Surge aura so having a solid crit% is important to them. Sorcs are powerful and most of them were using the Thief since it was a no brainer. I despise 'balancing' but will admit that Thief was overperforming in that a serious meta sorc would not really consider other Mundus stones. So dropping the potential increase slightly put sorcs into a spin as they scramble to figure out which Mundus to use. The Thief remains an excellent choice; the change simply means that there are now other equally solid choices for sorcs.
Buffy the magsorc is continuing to use the Thief for now and she still easily 'procs' a solid heal every single second she is in combat.
Aha, this is what I was looking for = someone to let me know if or how the nerf affected them. ** Any other Mundus requests? This post has been edited by mALX: Aug 24 2017, 04:39 PM

Clockwork City stream info from Reddit- Trial - "Mini Trial" shorter than other trials. Two mini bosses and full boss. Best loot by skipping mini bosses first.
- Asylum weapons similar to Maelstrom. Polymorph for doing hard mode.
- Same size/scale as TG and DB. 10-15 hours quest content. (*sigh*)
- New Battleground Type - "Crazy King" - think moving domination point.
- Coming to PTS this month (September).
QOL - Performance improvements. 15-20% increase in frame rate - especially consoles and low-end PC
- "Trait tracker" - Base UI update to track known/unknowm traits
- "Item Re-traiting" - Allow you to retrait weapons and armor as long as you've researched that trait. "Extra Component" required to perform the retrait.
Guess it's time to grind down the extra set pieces taking up inventory space lol This post has been edited by monkeyemoness: Sep 3 2017, 10:53 PM
