Khajiit had the most disgustingly awesome sandwich today. He took some left over turkey, left over cornbread dressing and made a patty out of the two. Heated that up in the microwave. Then he took two pieces of bread, mayonnaise on both pieces of bread, then cut a thin-ish slice of cranberry sauce from what was leftover of the can we had, and spread that on one of the pieces of bread. Lastly, this one put the turkey/dressing patty between the two pieces of bread and proceeded to pig out!

Certainly got to be better than a banana and anchovy on pumpernickel! blink.gif That's just awesomely disgusting.

Yes that does sound pretty bad!

Yesterday's salad-supper was, for once, super yummy. I attribute this to:

1) I used the last of the tuna cans bought not this Monday but the last Monday. That batch of cans was mediocre at best, except this one can, which housed surprisingly good tuna.

2) For once, the tomato wedge I used had a strong tomato flavor. Boy was it good!

3) Raisins came from a just opened new canister, and were still soft and flavorful.

4) Dressing was from a newly opened bottle of Thousand Isle and thus served at room temperature rather than cold. That's the way I like my dressings.

5) The hard boiled egg I ate on the side was the among best I've had in quite a while.

6) Likewise, my half-apple dessert (Fuji) was very sweet and juicy. Just how Fuji's should be.

I ate a country fried steak, scrambled eggs, raisin toast and fruit for breakfast at Jimmy's Egg (though I wanted porkchops).

I have almost eaten this many times = minus the mayo, that is.

Nah. My taste buds are the same as they've long been. It was just one supper where a lot of things went well. I used those same ingredients in last night's salad-supper. It was as meh as usual. Admittedly, I deliberately picked what looked to be the least tasty of my current Fuji apple stockpile for dessert to get it out of the way, but the salad itself was nothing to write home about.

Forgot to mention that this Monday's weigh-in showed me an alarming two pounds heavier (142lb). My hope is that it's a temporary thing brought on by a big traditional T-day lunch consumed only four days prior.

Depending on your height; 142 lbs on a male should be skinny as a rail because male bones are denser and much heavier than the same size female skeleton. So in other words; two pounds on you is probably a very good thing, and should be celebrated and followed by two more! laugh.gif

142lbs is certainly within my "official" weight limit, but...
I'm 5'6 and rather small framed. At least one online chart shows my ideal weight between 136-142lbs. This seems about right to me. I've always felt my fittest between 128-135lbs. But I can only get there by fairly serious exercise of the sort I am no longer safely capable. 140lbs seems a good compromise. Truth to tell, I wouldn't mind going up to 145lbs if I could gain it as upper body (chest) and arm bulk. I've never been able to do that to any great extent, even during my so-called prime. So yes, I do have relatively thin arms, shoulders and chest. If my stomach followed suit I'd a much more content camper. In that regard at any rate.

Actually, I think Isometrics can help you build the muscles on your chest and upper arms in a way that is safe for your heart. Women use Isometrics to keep their chest (breasts), arms, stomach, and butt (etc) taut when exercise is impossible; (after childbirth, for example) and they work just as well on a man too = though you would probably want to run it by your cardiologist first.

It is a way to passively shape your body and improve your metabolism because muscle tissue burns through calories at a much faster rate and the areas you concentrate on with the Isometrics become toned muscle tissue.

Last night's salad-supper was closer in quality to Tuesday's yummy meal than Wednesday's meh meal. Not sure why. No change of ingredients. Luck of the draw I guess.

Doh! My internal clock just tricked me again. Set two slices of frozen bread on the kitchen counter to thaw. Some minutes later I realized it was nearly 9am, not 10am. Back went those slices to the freezer.

I have an old Bullworker isometric trainer bought during the mid (?) 1970s. Haven't touches it in ages. Not sure I want to take it up again. I certainly won't mess with it until my Tennis Elbow heals, assuming it does.

Women don't need Bullworkers, they just hold tension in the muscles they want to target throughout the day as they do their regular chores or while sitting at their desks at work. (it is the only way to stay bootylicious while sitting at a desk all day, rollinglaugh.gif )

Seriously: It costs nothing to do it, and works wonders. But yeah, don't do it on your Tennis Elbow.

Another fine salad-supper, despite a meh tomato half. Same ingredients as before. It helps that tonight's tuna was super yummy. Thousand Isle dressing again. I've not been a Red Wine Vinaigrette mood lately.

Still enjoying my oatmeal based breakfasts. Wish this week's bananas were larger, but they are what they are. Nothing wrong with their flavor.

Wowbutter sammich for lunch, with half a Fuji apple for dessert. (I ate the other half at supper.)
