I've played through this game with five characters and with each one I've used Sneak to go round the back and turn off the propane tank so the lights go out. Then I've stealth killed as many as I could before going gung-ho on the rest. Not ONCE did I even consider trying to talk to the guy out front and then walk in like normal and talk to the drug/explosives dealer. I didn't think that was even possible. Ever since Deus Ex I was so used to the idea that when you're in a hostile area, you sneak. End of story.


It wasn't until just a couple years ago I saw a video where some did just walk up and talked his/her way in. I was so baffled!

Personally I think it’s more fun to run that mission like a ninja, but I like having options!

Yeah once. Felt like I let my boi Mercurio down so I reloaded a save and slaughtered them all

I've done that too btw. Most notably when I let that serial killer go cause he made a lotta sense but then discovered I failed the quest - RELOAD!

I think it was on my Tremere playthrough, but one time I kept loading the save before the endgame and making different decisions to see what the outcomes were.

How far along can you have a save and actually get the different endings? I guess it has to be right before hopping into the cab in Santa Monica but doesn't a lot of things throughout the game affect which endings you even have available, like being nice/not nice to Ming Xiao for instance?

Yes there are major decisions in the cab, of course, but I’m pretty sure there are other decisions you can make throughout the game which might change the ending you get. Those I was stuck with because obviously going back that far was a bit out of the question.

Think I never got to choose to side with the Camarilla or the Lone Wolf, but I might be wrong. Did I really just get the Anarch ending every time but the first??


Yeah, first time I blew myself up because I was so curious what was inside the sarcophagus despite Beckett warning me not to open it. Plus I didn't want to give the key to LaCroix

Brigitte ended up lone wolf. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten the ending that sided with Max and the Cam.

That seems to have the coolest Indiana Jones kind of ending with the warehouse

Don't know if I've mentioned this, but I always thought the music from Society of Leopold sounded like the cathedral music from Deus Ex. At least enough to heavily remind me of it.

But instead of Gunther we got Bach (both Germans! ) whom we had to shoot at because he didn't have a killphrase for us to use as a cheap way to avoid a bossfight

Just saw a video where someone got a fourth Discipline from Beckett!


But apparently that's from the plus patch, something I never used. Never used the unofficial either, just used the Camarilla Edition
