The Fallout TV Series Options

So it's like Vault 101 would be interconnected with 102?

The game's art direction is like FO4, does this also mean it's set in the Boston area?

What I'm really curious to see is the whole water drama found in Fallout 1 brought to life. Although I got far into that game last summer/fall, I thought this was a great premise for the game. "YOU, find us some water, or we all perish!"

It is set in Los Angeles. I got to the end of the first episode, and you can clearly see the Santa Monica pier when she exits the vault.

I did a little reading, and apparently there are three interconnected vaults. It looks like each has its own exit to the surface, and their own dedicated connections to the other two. From what I gather they have nothing to do with one another except for once every few years they have arranged marriages in which they exchange members, to keep the family trees from turning into family vines.

I have been enjoying it more than I thought I would. Its a little less cheesy than I thought it would be. I particularly like how it surprises you by making you think it's going in one direction and then immediately doing a 180 into the opposite direction, often with the killing of characters you thought might be around for a while in the process.

Having watched Westworld, I can see some simalarities, particularly with The Ghoul, since the way they did the Walter Goggins character in Fallout reminds me so much of Ed Harris's character William/Man in Black in Westworld with how he was idealistic and kindhearted in his youth but became a completely jaded, amoral and ruthless gunfighter by the time the story begins.

My favorite line so far from The Ghoul: "Well, I ain't torturing you, sweetheart. I'm using you as bait." Although I got to admit the "weirdest circle jerk" line was pretty good too.

We got two free weeks of Prime on a "trial" membership and I got to stream the first 8 episodes = LOVED it!!!!! We aren't going to pay for Prime so canceled after the end of the two weeks, but = really would love to see the continuation of it since they are going to New Vegas in the next season! It was nostalgic, good characters, fun, and very well done. Todd Howard is the Executive Producer, so it is very Lore friendly.

I just watched season 1 recently myself and thought they did a great job! They nailed the feel of the franchise, imo.

I just watched season 1 recently myself and thought they did a great job! They nailed the feel of the franchise, imo.

Agree 100%; it really felt like the game and really made me want to pull my Fallout games out!!! I have been torn between the Fallout 4 (due to the beginning of the series) and the Fallout 3 (because it is my favorite) and the New Vegas (because that is where they are going next, lol).

I'm stoked for it, but also wondering what the state of the Mojave will be. The show is at least 15 years after game events, yet House and the Legion are featured in the trailer, and there has also been photos of NCR troopers released, too.

Me too!!! This show has got me nostalgic to play the Fallout games again! I heard they were going to do a "Fallout Remastered" too; (like the Oblivion Remastered). I SO hope they do, I have already socked the money into the bank to buy it if they come out with it!!!

• What suspiciously sounds like a super mutant (Marcus from Jacobstown? He was also in Fallout 2)
• The persistence of Mr. House's AI (I killed him in my "official" NV run, but either the House ending for New Vegas is canon, or Mr. House is dead but his AI persists. Or maybe there is a different explanation like a blend of NV endings.)
