QUOTE(minque @ Sep 20 2005, 01:07 PM) It´s really a good picture, it reminds me of Robin Hood......from the cartoon that is... I stick to my Fuzzy-made-nwn-lady....... Hehe. Thats odd, as the Wolf in the picture is wearing a modern style hat, though I suspose at its current size it could be mistake for Robin's hat.

Hey Dylan I hope you do better with your "dyslexia" problem. I had a feeling you'd be involved in making several frozen boards But to be more on topic. My icon is the one eyed Irkin symbol from Invader Zim. EDIT: Oh wow... Well I just pwned myself as well..... Dylan acctually has dyslexia! Also if I were you I would find the author of the avatar and ask them for permission to use it. otherwise it is considered plagiarism since it is not with consent of the author/artist.

Mine is a symbol for the basis of "chaotic perfection" in Alchemy, the symbol of Antimony.
In ancient Alchemical texts, the metal antimony symbolizes the animal nature or free spirit of human and nature, and it was often symbolized by the wolf.
My take on this is that it commands a union of the true essence of humankind and the world around. When one attains this equilibrium within themselves they find the ultimate balance in all and can then view the world through a completely different set of eyes. But because a human is an entity marked with flaws, the unison of primal animal spirit and the completeness of nature is nearly impossible. It can be attained, but it requires one to look around at the beyond beforehand.
*chuckles softly* Time for a tiny bit of a history lesson folks, so do bear with.
Simplified, the aims of the alchemists were threefold: to find the Stone of Knowledge (The Philosophers' Stone), to discover the medium of Eternal Youth and Health, and to discover the transmutation of metals. To the medieval alchemist’s mind the different elements were but the same original substance in varying degrees of purity. Gold was the purest of all and silver followed closely.
