Kaushad Zergonipal
"Glad to see you made it. I need to brief you on the story. Sul Matuul will be here shortly. Come inside then, no point standing out here in the cold," Kaushand remarked as walked upon the group. "There are Telvanni scouts around the road to the East, we have to be careful. Sedrane, I need you to tell the rest of this guys to pack it in for the moment, make this place look as deserted as it ever was."
Sul Matuul Zergonipal outskirts
Staring along the Eastern path with two other Urshilaku warriors, Sul Matuul inspected four scouts moving toward Zergonipal. He had been watching them for hours, trying to figure out what they were after. The situation in the Grazelands was extremely hostile lately, what with the Telvanni moving most of their forces in there. Kaushad claimed that was the point, make them all go there to leave their northern towns and cities unprotected so they could strike. Scout complicated things, it could mean the back-path behind the mountains could be compromised, or that Melkaan uvirith would catch wind of their plan.
En'Fel New Vivec
En'Fel sighed. That woman was so completely brain dead and had no idea. Maybe it was just because she grew up with such influence she never needed to bother. Maybe she should just realize that there is such a thing as a traitor, she's one of them. She can't just prance about letting every regular citizen in New Vivec know about their plans. There exists something called secrecy. Those guards that let him loose, they could very well just sell their info to Melkaan Uvirith if they wanted. The selling of information was a huge market. She should be more careful with who she trusts.
It didn't matter to him, as long as he was given her cooperation in killing Melkaan. He needed nothing more than that. If she wanted to find herself under investigation for cooperation in the assassination, it would be her fault, not his. He could rest peacibly and allow the Telvanni government to collapse within. Maybe she wasn't stupid, but so damned arrogant that it didn't matter to her who knew, like all the pieces were set in her mind. Fat chance, En'Fel could be a rich man if he went to Melkaan Uvirith with the news. He had the evidence, didn't she think that it goes down on paperwork when prisoners are released from Prison? He knew, he could rat her out if he wanted.
He had something much more to gain in this situation than money, but he couldn't tell her what. He refused to tell her what. She might think herself invincible, but En'Fel still knew the value of a good secret. "Amili," he said as he entered the room.
Isaarin Sithiln Hlaalu District
Isaarin finished his meal at the Hlaalu inn and set off for the Hlaalu Council chambers. He found the front entrance strangely unguarded. Where were the ordinators? he thought. Ordinator's guarded the outside, his guards took the inside. Where were they? No doubt inspecting Wred's latest folly, he decided and entered. Both guards in the front foyer were on the ground paralyzed. He gasped and tucked away from the front door, heading hastily toward the nearest guard posted, but he could find none on that entire corner of the Hlaalu district.
My manor! he thought. There would be his private guards there. It was too far, and there was an emergency going on. Perhaps he could go below, to the bottom floor from the back entrance and find sanction among the Hlaalu prison guards. Yes, that's what he would do. Better than standing out in the open like he was.

Jonacin, Near Zergonipal The trip to Zergonipal had proved mostly uneventful. A cliffracer had decided that Leni looked a lot like lunch, but a flashing Shehai had rather abruptly ended that idea, along with it's life. "We're nearly there now" Jonacin said to Kyara, who was starting to get tired from the walking, "Zergonipal is just ahead"

Kasuhad
While walking the party along and showing them the different areas of their new base, Kaushad described what was going on, "To be true, for the beginning most of Ahemussa warriors will stay at Ald Daedroth. It is a highly defensible point, and quite necessary. You see, Zergonipal is merely a meeting place, a collaboration that can stand to represent the Union of the Ashlanders even after the war. Weapons, warriors, food, medicine, water, it will all go here first. Warriors will get their orders here. For instance, Erabeninsum has many warriors, more than Zainab, because not only are they a very strong people but they were warned of the attack before it hit so they suffered no casualities. The Erabeninsum warriors are being used in many different instances. They are guarding the path that goes from behind the Neran Ancestral tomb to this location, as well as working in Guerilla teams out in the Grazelands, and in the Mountains, rading Telvanni soldiers that get seperated from the herd.
"Zainab has a very different plan for our warriors. We move in bigger groups in the Grazelands because we know the territory best, we can lay traps for the larger forces and set up ambushes. It does not put a very large dent in their army, but it concentrates their forces in the Grazelands, distracting them from our bigger plans, plans that will involve Ahemussa, Urshilaku and Redoran help.
"So, the Neran ancestral tomb," he continued, "Will act as the offensive point against the Telvanni army we have tricked into concentrating in the Grazelands. Urshilaku territory will be where most of our supplies come from, as they are untouched by war. Ald Daedroth will act as a storage more or less of our young, our elderly, sick and injured, those who cannot fight will have no reason to be at a place like Zergonipal or Neran Ancestral Tomb, points of offense. Is this clear to you?"

QUOTE(ShogunSniper @ Sep 20 2005, 07:32 PM) Endris turned when he heard a man say Amili's name. He recognized the person as the one who attacked him before, "You?! What are you doing here?!" Endris said while pulling a small steel dagger from his belt. Amili, New Vivec"Calm yourself, Endris, please." Amili said, pushing Endris' dagger down. She waved to En'fel. "This way." She led him to her room and bolted the door. "Alright," she began. "I think that I can convince Melkaan that he needs my protection because I have caught wind of an assassination being planned." She smiled at the irony of it all. "So I will travel to Sadrith Mora with him and do as planned." "Oh, one more thing." she added as if she had almost forgotten. She walked over to a chest and opened it, pulling out a newly-enchanted amulet. "This," she said, dangling it in front of her face, "Will enhance many of your abilities. strength and stamina among them. Here, put it on." she urged, stuffing it in his hand. "I can't have you failing in this; it's far too important." she explained, quelling any suspicions. She kept her triumphant smile inside; she had loaded the amulet with enough fortifications to hide the one weakness she had enchanted it with; weakness to fire. Akar, ZergonipalAkar followed Serene and the ashlander leaders, still not quite sure of what he was really doing here. "So, what part do I play in this?" He looked around for a second. "Where's En'fel? Doesn't he represent the Zainab?" This post has been edited by Dantrag: Sep 21 2005, 01:38 AM
