i was at level 26 when my game started going buggy, i couldn't level up and my spells didn't work, all i could do was go around and kill things with my sword and everytime i killed something the game would tell me i should rest and meditate and when i would it would not level me up. i tried starting the game from an earlier savepoint but the problem persisted. needless to say i had to start the game over from scratch, bummer

[Offtopic] QUOTE(minque @ Nov 27 2005, 06:13 AM) Ehhh finally I managed to kill one of them.....then both disappeared!!! Those Hands of almalexia are a b**** to kill, I was going about killing Almalexia before doing the main quest, sure Almalexia was easy to kill but I think those 6 hands were each as powerful as her. Let me give you some stats Hands of Almalexia: 394 health (not much) but 200 heavy armour skill, 150 block and 3 pts restore health per sec with their good armour and 5 exquisite health potions means they can take a punishment. 125 speed and endurance, 170 strength and agility, 150% resistance to fire, 40% reflect, around 50% resistance to frost, shock and paralysis; 20% to poision. 45% fortify attack. 1-43 ebony simitiar with an ok attack enchantment but only has 10 use so doesn't do much, except if you don't have reflect in which case it absorbs 50 strength for 10 seconds and damages 5 strength when multiplied by 6 leaves you with very little so you need reflect. One thing I noticed (didn't at the time), they don't have any resist magicka; wish I knew that because my frost spells weren't very effective. Almalexia: 3000 health but no regeneration or defense agaisnt physical attacks. Immunity to fire, poison, paralysis, disease & normal weapons. 50 resist shock, magicka and frost. 100-100 damage and hopefire which does 30-70 damage. But she only has 80 speed so is slower than the hand of almalexia. Her spell has weakness to fire 75% for 5s, fire damage 100pts & absorb health 40 with 10 shots of those. No reflect though. And note if you fight her before your supposed to she has 1-5pt regeneration per second. All in all I think the hands are harder to beat because of their high armour and block and their large amounts of health potions (unless you pick pocket them). In a 1 on 1 fight I'd except a hand to win but I haven't tried this (I should) though that is largely because they have high resistance to fire. [/offtopic] Not sure if somebody mentioned this before. But sea creatures on the land. I find them quite alot now, and It always supprises me exactly how far they get up land. For some reason they seem to come in bunchs, usaully 3 dreugh on the top of a hill by the water or a couple of slaughterfish on the shore. Tends to be on steap surfaces though, not sure if thats related to the bug. This post has been edited by Pisces: Jan 27 2006, 01:15 PM

How about land creatures on the sea? I was on a mission in Raven Rock where you must destroy a mass of spriggans around the colony site. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one of them. It wasn't until my next reload (I should have saved more...) that I saw what had happened - a spriggan was running over the sea, half-submerged since it had no swimming animation.

QUOTE(Pisces @ Jan 28 2006, 02:48 AM) First time this has every happened (that I noticed). I went to buy an item (without selling anything) and when I bought it I got the amount of money I was supposed to pay given to me instead of taken, as well as the item. I checked and nothing was missing from my inventory either. yeah that happened to me once, I "gave" an item for a quest or somethin and I had a duplicate item in my inventory. I shrugged and went on with the game though.

QUOTE(Telendil Delvanni @ Jan 28 2006, 05:52 PM) Y'all, are propably not going to believe tis but, I killed Vivec once, and when I walk outside, the moon drops, hit the temple and then both dissapear. Wacko, I was like stirring for fifteen minutes, before I splurted out with laugh Que???? The moon? you mean one of those in the sky? Hehe......that was really weird! One thing happened to me when I was on Solstheim, playing bloodmon and making that quest where you have to learn a tune from some music-stones in a cave....Well when I was standing there (Serene naturally...not me!)..then suddenly two ordinators appeared..and not regular ordinators.....they were Almalexia´s Hands..and those meanies started to hit me ! I was so astonished so I forgot to defend myself..so..I died! Or Serene did...... so..just reload a previous save.....

QUOTE(Telendil Delvanni @ Jan 28 2006, 08:46 PM) No, minkey, not the moon on the sky ( that would have been weirder though), the ministry of truth howering above the temple, that was supposed to be a moon that a deadra lord threw agains vivec( dont remember which one though ), so Vivec caught hold of it, and as a symbol it's howering above the temple, held up by Lord Vivec's powers. OMG! Noo....jeez.....that must have been extremely funny...sorry but I must say I would have been quite stunned....... So what happened to the temple you said?.......and how did the other NPCs react? did you take a screenshot of it?

QUOTE(gamer10 @ Jan 28 2006, 07:55 PM) then again I might've been messing around with the textures, or I might've disabled a mod for the head I had on. yeah, that tends to do things like that.... that reminds me, of those boots bethesda put in that were "invisible" becasue they didn't have a texture... I think it was the Ten Pace Boots or something like that This post has been edited by Soulseeker3.0: Jan 29 2006, 03:06 AM

On the quest to build your Estate in Raven Rock, everytime I have to meet with Aldam Berenduds (the NPC who marks the position for you) he is always standing about 2 meters in the air and won't follow. Talk about being looked down on!
