Ok, 6 more entries, and that's it! The contest has ended! Our thanks go to everyone who participated, and to all the sites that have cooperated with us on this, and of course Bethesda Softworks! As I understand it, the judges will now take some time to decide who has won, and as soon as they tell me, the names of the winners will be published! Again, thanks everyone!

Thanks Balzethor. So, where did everyone go?? The contest ended and everyone out there just fell off the sides of the earth?? OK. If there are still people reading this, I'm curious to know just what it was that made you decide to enter. Was it the prizes? The chance to show off what you could do with your imagination? The challenge? The comeraderie? Something else entirely?? I'll start the ball rolling. My reasons for entering were the challenge (could I really get back into costuming? or had I lost it for good?), and my love for the Elder Scrolls games. Chiglet

For me it was realy interesting to see, what type of costumes people can make. And some of them are realy cool and TES like. I've entered for fun, and competition was realy cool. I knew, that my costumes was not TES like, and I'v made them not realy for this competition, but they are prety good, Ithink . This post has been edited by Feinar: Apr 1 2006, 01:17 PM

Thanks for your comment, Feinar I've entered because me and my girlfriend were fans of Morrowind, we just felt in love with this game, we collected and made some things with "Morrowind design" e.t.c. For example the knitted hoody (robe is handmade, as well as the carpet and the table. Prize is awesome, but the first reason to participate was the will to show to the whole elder scrolls community and bethesda softworks that theiк games are so good that they can even inspire people Good luck to everyone, as for me, I really like Sugerflash and Ander's "relaxing with fleen 2", they look almost like screenshots

I entered because I have never cosplayed before. Sure, there are prizes, but I wanted to see what I could do with a bunch of cardboard boxes. Good luck to everyone.

I joined this competiton because I wanted to display the armor I made, which was designed off of the chitin and bonemold armors in Morrowind. I never thought I'd have a chance like this, as I made the armor 2 years ago, but now I am happy that I have been provided an opportunity to showcase my work.

I'm back, and I'm in a questioning (or is that questionable?) mood again. For my next bout of "20 Questions",.... 1) Has anyone here heard of, or know, "Rostler's Rules of Costuming"? 2) While the judges are in the other room, and the ones in charge (who are currently in this room) are not involved in the final decision makings. What are YOUR top 5 favorite entries? In no particular order, and NOT INCLUDING your own entry. The ones I liked best were: Altair (any of them) "Curse that witch" Jormungandr as Sheogorath The Khajiit Sugarflash A nord warrior There was just something about these that really clicked with me. With so many good entries though, it was hard to choose among them. So, is anyone else up to this challenge? Chiglet

QUOTE(Chiglet @ Apr 4 2006, 05:34 AM) 2) While the judges are in the other room, and the ones in charge (who are currently in this room) are not involved in the final decision makings. What are YOUR top 5 favorite entries? In no particular order, and NOT INCLUDING your own entry. Ugh. If you ask people, they might tell you that I kept saying "Thanks $deity I'm not a judge in this contest". Why did I keep saying that? I wouldn't want to decide which of these fine entries would win, and which ones wouldn't. There's so much great stuff there, I'm not sure I could pick just three, call them the best and call that fair. I feel much more comfortable in my role as organizer, announcing stuff and letting others make the really tough decisions I can tell you that the first that really caught my eyes and the one that still makes me laugh every time I see it is the entry by Lancer31. I don't know about it being the best entry, but it is certainly very funny, and I do like funny
