QUOTE(Wurlon @ Mar 27 2006, 06:33 PM) Edit: Soulseeker you better watch your stuff, it will disappear after awhile... I kept my stuff hidden in a crate in the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary until I found out it disappears after a week or so of no use (game time week) yeah I stay away from crates, had some bad moments in Morrowind

QUOTE(jchamber @ Mar 26 2006, 10:26 AM) there is no need to lock your house because they made it so no one will come into your house. If there is a way I don't know it. Actually my house in the Imperial city had runners for the Thief's Guild come in to give me info. But I'm sure they probably stopped just any old NPC from going in.

QUOTE(Marxist ßastard @ Mar 26 2006, 09:38 PM) The manor in Anvil becomes fixed up and fully furnished once you lift its curse. Before that, however... Well, a steady supply of Ectoplasm can have its uses. Myself, I am just loving Rosethorn Hall in Skingrad. I even hired myself a servant! What do servants do? Can you talk to them? Do they help in anyway or are they just another Decoration? Do they just wander around? Stand in place? Or do they actually have some sort of servant like animation? I thought I read a post somewhere about NPCs not having "work" animations but HEY, you can read ANYTHING somewhere if you just look hard enough... Cadaver

QUOTE(Wurlon @ Mar 27 2006, 06:33 PM) When you purchase the house, usually the person who sold it to you will tell you have barren the home is, and suggest a trader to buy furnishings from. To buy the furnishings, simply barter with that particular person and you'll see small little paper notes that say "furnishing storage" ect. Purchase these and your house is automatically changed. This was for the guy who asked where you buy furnishings.. Edit: Soulseeker you better watch your stuff, it will disappear after awhile... I kept my stuff hidden in a crate in the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary until I found out it disappears after a week or so of no use (game time week) Oh yeah, definently watch out for that. I lost a set of dwarven mail because of my stupidity.

I bought the house in Anvil...worked out pretty well, I used the ghosts as an easy way to increase my blade skill (and thus my strength). Increased a whole level just off blade skill leveling...
Money is relatively easy to come by, though...I'm going to buy a second house just for bragging rights soon.

LOL, lack of money, lol. Seriously? Go to Kvatch where the people are on your horse and talk to the female orc when you have your sword equipped, she will buy your sword but it wont un equip! Bam, 200 gold at a time, unlimited times, and it creates no glitches.
