Those both are in Rome Total War. Plenty of neat quotes in it. Ill see if I can get them all.

As you can see, I'm a Total War fan. It's a great game really, better than those "rock-paper-scissors" type games like Empire Earth or Age of Empires. It really gives you insight on how troops are lead.

I got one it from DoW:40k. A Spacemarine says "Walk softly and carry a big gun" I found that kind of funny

This is a quote from Hayt (a dev of OB) on the official forums before Oblivion came out, and rumors about how bad it was gonna be, ran amuck.

"I hate to say it, but I continue to be surprised at the degree to which people are willing, if not eager, to believe the worst about any given situation (particularly when they have few to none of the facts)."

EDIT: forgot to add quotation marks ""

"Every fallen enemy is a risen crowd" a saying I use now after a very long conversation. The person I was speaking to and I got to a point where we were discussing how much a cheering crowd can affect a fight or anything for that matter. He asked me "is there any way one can achieve that boost of confidence without a crowd?" and I responded with the quote.

"Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies" by the often mis-quoted Aristotle.

"One with the law is a majority" by one of the coolest men ever, Calvin Coolidge.

"Fear makes us feel our humanity" by Benjamin Disraeli.

I have thought this through a lot, and I can't decide wich quote I like the most. But there's this one that has stayed in my mind:

"He's one of those rangers..." from LoTR.
It just sounds so cool when the innkeeper says it, gives me goosebumps.

Hehe, my brother use to say that when he sees me in my hiking clothes, "she's one of those rangers...hurmm"

Thanks Stargie. I hate to miss-qoute people and forget their names, one of my many, many, many, many, many peeves.

I'm putting this qoute up because every time I've ever seen it said, it was attributed to the wrong person. It wasn't Stalin, it wasn't Napoleon, it wasn't Mousilinni (I'm pretty certain I mispelled that one) and it wasn't Ghenghis Khan (yes, I heard someone credit the Khan for this one. The victor will never be asked if he told the truth was said by Adolf Hitler.

Ah, talking Star Trek, aren't we? Prepare for the ultimate geekiness!

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.
Spock: ,,Lieutenant, the Admiral is well aware of the regulations." Upon encountering the Reliant. Saavik, (like the rest of the crew actually still in training) talks about some regulation to raise the shields and all. Kirk decides not to and the Enterprise takes a big beating.

Star Trek III: The Search for Spock.
Kirk: ,,Because the needs of the one outweigh the needs of the many." Kirk explains why he sacrificed everything (ship, son, a couple of Klingons, his rank etc.) to revive Spock.

Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.
,,Must be the radiation." Chekov when he threatens to stun a couple of navy guys and his phaser doesn't function.

Kirk (after McCoy got them past the guard by telling them that they had a patient with something very deadly sounding disease.): ,,What did you say she had?"
McCoy: ,,Stomach ache."

Guard: ,,Hey, I thought you came in with a woman."
Kirk: ,,Wrong patient." While fleeing with Chekov.

Star Trek V: The Final Frontier.
Kirk: ,,What does God need with a starship?" Yes, he met God and he wasn't impressed. evillol.sml.gif (The god was a fake, but still.)

Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.
Kirk (after nearly getting beaten by some big alien he still managed to win by hitting the knee.): ,,At least he had a knee."
Someone else:,, Not everyone has his genitals on the same place as humans."

Kirk (at the end): ,,Second star to the right, and straight on till morning."

Star Trek VII: Generations.

Soran (when Kirk appears from nowhere after having been missing for 75 years or something): ,,And who might you be?"
Picard: ,,Have you forgotten your history? That is Captain James T. Kirk."
Soran (punches Kirk): ,,I remember my history and if I am right, you were death."

Ps: I think Kirk died much too easily in this film. It was two against one!

Star Trek VIII: First Contact.
,,Borg? Sounds Swedish."

Cochrane (during the warp flight): ,,AAAAAHHH!!!"

Data (upon betraying the Borg): ,,Resistance is futile!"

Star Trek X: Nemesis.
Worf (with a hangover): ,,Romulan ale should be illegal."
La Forge: ,,It is illegal."
Worf: ,,Then it should be more illegal."

When the dune buggy shoots out of the shuttle with Picard behind the weels.
Data: ,,I have never understood the human's need for driving at unsafe velocities."
(when they are shot at.)
Picard:,, It is time for unsafe velocities."

(when picard and Data steal a Romulan fighter somewhere later in the film, there is a small reference to the car chase earlier.)
Data:,, Should I fly?"
Picard looks at him like "What the hell are you thinking? Of course not!"

And of course the Vulcan classic:,, Live long and prosper."

Umm, yeah that is all I can remember for the moment.
