Rush is certainly really cool. But I would also like to add maple syrup and hockey to what makes Canada sweet, that and health care.

Bah, we have good hockey over here in NC.

Go 'Canes.

Haha, too bad Buffalo ruined their home opener by beating them.

I personally cheer for the Alberta teams, Calgary and Edmonton. I don't see what's so special about Toronto, like, they haven't won the cup in like 50 years...

Yeah, I was disappointed. I watched bits and pieces on the TV displays at work. Can't talk about it in-depth though. Stupid customers bothering me all the time. (That was a joke. I love customers. Kind of.)

My day was simply disaster until some hour ago... It started with a spasm in my left leg, which [as always, when my muscles are in question] came out of nowhere :\ then, I ate a gigantic slice of pizza with mayo & ketchup, which caused me to have diarrhea some few hours later, in PC tech class; I pulled trough it, though, as well as the entire lecture... but, in the meantime, a buddy from that class brought me a DDR400 256megs ram module from a hardware scrap pile; it appeared in-tacked on surface and I hid it, so I could bring it home. Once I got back I rammed the poor thing into my PC's free memory slot... and guess what ??
768 MEGS OF RAM, WOOOHOOO !! I am so happy now, diarrhea or not.

Nice to hear a nice ending to a bothersome day, Mil.

As for me, I guess I enjoyed the Thanksgiving food a little too much because I had a killer tummyache that kept me awake for the whole night. I think I only slept in fits until 6AM. The disappointing thing about it was that I was planning to go to the parade that started at 8:30AM with a friend I haven't seen for a few months, but due to the stupid tummyache, I decided I needed rest instead of going to that.

So now I'm going have to email her and explain why I didn't show up sad.gif. I really wanted to go too...

Hey peeps, whats up? Sorry I haven't really been around lately.. Busy with college stuff.. And I've found this awesome girl (think I said that before in another coffee shop smile.gif)

But shes like completely different from me.. I'm a pretty moderate conservative, and she is a flamboyant socialist, a hilary clinton supporter and believes that everyone should be judged by their karma... It makes me giggle just thinking about it. We argue all the time (fun arguements) but shes not a floozy like the normal girls I dig. You know the blonde cheerleader ones? And I'm happy too. Shes smart, and tries to be searious and all, shes so clumsy and what not, and sometimes raises an eyebrow amongst people. Its lovely.

But yea.. Anyoen play 2142 yet? And btw, I'm mad at the Hurricanes.. don't even get me started.

Just thought I would let everyone know that it is all ready snowing here in Canada, and it's only OCTOBER!!!

It caught me totally unexpected, like it was a snowstorm amount of snow blowing heavily around me while I was walking home from school. My entire hoody basically turned white from it.

Then suddenly, the snow just disappeared. And now it comes in fits, moments where you can't even see anything from all the snow, then the sun starts shining again.

It's always weird weather here. I remember one time in the span of one week, the school was closed on Monday due to so much snowfall that buses had to be cancelled but by Friday people were in shorts and t-shirts.

I'm moving to Canada. It still gets hot during the day here. (It cools off pretty well at night though)

Hasn't snowed here in Missoula quite yet but we do have snow above 7000 feet, in the surrounding mountains. It's great; when I leave for work/school in the morning the grass is bathed in frost, but by afternoon it is usually 60-70 degrees with a brilliant blue sky. It's a wonderful time of year.

Football time, too. I'm thrilled that my Bears (I'm originally from Illinois) have finally figured out that the offense is allowed to score, too, in addition to the awesome defense.

Yo propples, has the slozzles been clozzles to yozzles?

I'm still in college, which is cool, keeping up with my classes for the most part. I hear stories, but I had no idea it was this chill. Everyone in here who has not, I'm telling you, go to college, it's the best, it's like 10 times better than highschool. Events are blurring together for me, like I can remember things that have happened but not what day or with who. I laugh all the time, too. There are also some hot girls here, too bad most of them have boyfriends.

Well, down here in Texas, we don't usually get snow. BUT it was pretty chilly these last two days in the mornings, the afternoons have been in the seventies though. I'm not in college or middle school yet, and I don't have tech ed........ or lectures smile.gif (lucky me).

I just got the strangest tip I've ever gotten before. I rarely ever get tipped at my work but every once in awile I do.

This time my tip was a retro hockey cap that you can currently get in a case of beer. And he actually gave me a choice, I could pick a KC cap or a Winnipeg Jets cap. Obviously, I choose the Canadian team tongue.gif

If I remember correctly though, the Winnipeg team was the one that moved to North Carolina and became the 'Canes. Don't hold me to that though.

Still, it's pretty sweet for a tip biggrin.gif

I'm so glad that your American vacation went so well for you Minque! Still it muct be great to get home again. We will look forward to hearing your "stories" about your time with us Americans. Telling the stories is half the fun of traveling and coming home again. It's all good.

So let's see ... we have Channler fallen in love in college. I love it! She sounds like a great and very real girl, Channler. You are smart not to just fall for the "cheerleader" types. I'm afraid too many of those types are really 'followers' rather than 'leaders' or thinking for themselves.

Now we just need to see Doomed One falling in love with some lovely girl at college. He certainly sounds in love with the whole college scene. You are right Doomie, everyone should go to college and experience the fun and constructive atmosphere there. It is liberating to be around so much learning and experimentation. Not substances, new ways of thinking, I mean. You have to be open-minded at college and yet establish your own personal borders of what is best for you. Gotta learn to organize your own time and activities.

I'd go back to college again even though I'm an old fart. Might be doing that next Spring for computer animation classes. Although I'd commute and not have the totally immersive experience of living on cmapus, it'd be alot of fun I think.
