I got King Kong for Christmas, it is a sad story if you stop to feel the mood. KK, in my opinion, is a master piece of drama and tragedy. Many an audiance could probably sympathize with his death.

Peter Jackson illustrated that despite his appearance, Kong wasn't just an animal or "an abberation of nature" but was actually a near-sentient. You could tell that he felt emotions, but he wasn't meant for our world at all. It was more chaotic then Skull Island, though it would be vice-versa to us.

EDIT: WMP-music

BTW, I got a Aurora M9700 (killer laptop) for christmas smile.gif And I've started playing oblivion again because of it biggrin.gif

Back after a too-long hiatus- stirred out of it by the concerns of a fine forum fellow. No excuses, no whining. So- have I told you all how fortunate I am to have Mrs. Treydog? Allow me to elaborate. For Christmas, the talented Mrs. Treydog gifted me with a printed and bound copy of my original Story of Trey, complete with 8.5x11 screen-shot of our Breton as a front cover. (Granted, it is spiral bound, but who cares?) Yes, my dear wife lurked quietly, waiting for me to get out from in front of the computer and/or the TV (which is in the same room) long enough to locate the files, dump them to a disk, take the disk to a print shop, and have it printed and bound. She is the best. Of course, she also said,

"If you would have hurried up and finished the other one, you could have had it for Christmas, too!"

A lovely woman, but not always the most patient. Belated Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to you all.

Isn't the present you want is for your daughters to do the vacuuming. I got a pair of gardening gloves (well actaully 2 pairs for different purposes) for my mum but I am also get a hair cut for her, I left it to the last minute so it will be a while away yet, and I am still leaving it long (much to my mum's dismay), I just haven't had a hair cut since I started growing it so I'll clean it up abit.

Ok, I copied Minque's idea and once again added to my fish bowl, I know Christmas is over and it is a very bad job on my avatar but I have too much an eye for detail to do a good job (otherwise I'd never finish, which happens a lot). The avatar is a present for Ibis (when she comes back) and Minque.

I hope the blood is real for that "authentic" feel ya know? tongue.gif Though I don't think you'll find any elves to spill their blood for the book. Pity, that would've been sweet! Fake blood I guess works... the book wouldn't decay and smell then....

Still, I would have to finish the story before even comptemplating whether to get it bound or not. But I still have to put it through the editing process by sending the Word file off to all my school buddies. Very few of them even know I've been writing this thing.

Also, WOOO!! Tonight is Chuck Liddell vs Tito Ortiz for the Light Heavyweight Championship tonight for UFC 66. The fight card for this show is fantastic! I can't wait till 10 pm....

So I watched the show Metalocalypse for the first time on New Year's Eve (there was a marathon, I wasn't feeling well, stayed up entirely too late) It's a really good show, hilarious actually, especially if you know anything about metal. If you love metal, you'll love the show, and if you hate it you'll love the show. It's just awesome. Watch it.
