QUOTE(Renee @ Sep 26 2024, 09:05 AM) QUOTE(TheCheshireKhajiit @ Sep 25 2024, 10:25 AM) Ugggh I’ve watched too many videos about Morrowind recently. It might be time to try a new playthrough. KMN.
Wow, really? I hope you do. I'm still playing, I just never talk about it much. What video you watch? Well it started with this one and kinda snowballed from there, lol. I started watching his videos as companions to my on going Oblivion campaigns and he dropped that vid about Morrowind. He had never played it before so I was interested in seeing his opinions. But yeah, it got me watching other videos and now I’ve got “the itch”, lol

24 Morning Star (Day 162) mid-afternoon: Fay Daway, my conjuring Illusionist, just met and is traveling with Morgana le Hex, the "Witchgirl" by Emma. Emma made this mod way back in 2003, and it's obvious this is where early ideas for Vilja began, including a rather b1tchy personality. Morgana loves skooma and moon sugar products, while my vegetarian, health-conscious Fay loathes it, except as possible alchemy ingredients. Witchgirl is also incredibly OP for the areas Fay currently feels comfortable in traveling alone. BUT, if Fay ever needs to head into some serious Ashland territory where there's actual daedra and atronachs, then Morgana's overpowered nature might balance the scales of difficulty for Fay. Overall, How will this odd couple of mages fare in the long run? b Pics soon!

There's more of Emma's stuff at her own site. I originally found Witchgirl there. You can find a thread about my Angeline and Diablita somewhere, too. This post has been edited by ghastley: May 18 2025, 08:03 AM

Awesome! I already have an account at Emmates, now I have more of a reason to use it. I see you've got a companion mod of your own at ghastley.org, very nice. Whoa, you've got tutorials too, holy moley! Hearthfire... I had an idea a while back for that DLC. Kewl.

QUOTE(Renee @ May 21 2025, 09:25 AM) Nice, do their personalities vary?
I felt they did, IRC. Overall, Constance had the best and most varied personality. Very much fun to be with. The little thief likes to do a little of this and a little of that. Don’t put too much booze in her inventory. She’ll drink it all and pass out. Laura is like the level headed older sister. Always telling you what to do and how to do it. Morgana le Hex, she has a temper. All three have short quests and have a friendly romance option. Combine the three into one and you get Vilja.

Yes that was my feeling: that Morgana (at the least) was one of the steps which led to Vilja. But now I know there are several others who combined into her personality, how neat. I've been playing Morrowind for a month or so, same three ladies from last year: 1). Ana Khannda (Dunmer bowwoman; House Hlaalu, Thieves Guild, Dunmer Temple) 2). Fay Daway (Bosmer magician; Mages Guild, House Telvanni, can't remember what else) 3). Joan of Arkay (Breton crusader; main quest, Imperial Legion, Imperial Cult, Fighters Guild) Fay's and Joanie's names are picture links. I switch between those three from game session to game session.

Indeed, you really gotta pay attention to directions too. Sometimes though, NPCs do give fraudulent or inaccurate info. QUOTE(mirocu @ May 28 2025, 03:19 PM) Nice pics, Renee. And nice that you still play Morrowind; I haven't in a very long time for no particular reason. I still could at any time but the further I drift away the harder it gets to get back into it.
Solution/Ancient Dunmer Secret: play more Morrowind!

Good advice.
