Lothran tried to get the Tiber Septim hotel's Official Deer™ to go back out into the wild by casting a Command spell on her. It worked to the point she showed up as "Lothran's deer", but she didn't follow him outside the hotel, not even when he went outside the City gates. This usually works with NPCs but apparently not with hotel mascots

Well, as long as she doesn't end us as venison stew, she should be fine.

As November marches on, so does Lothran's preparations to go to Bruma. Things have been sold and bought, weapons recharged, sewer bandits taken care of and as of now the elf sits onboard the Marie Elena, reading up on Bruma through Alessia Ottus' guidebook. He's also talked to Armand Christophe about Ongar and yes; Ongar still lives in Bruma...

Lothran is now already in Aleswell and he will start the final leg of the journey up to Bruma tomorrow.

Recently went back into Oblivion Remastered. Been doing the Knights of the Nine quest line. Just finished Kynareth's test.

Bruma, day 2116, clear.


Lothran left Aleswell this morning and went a short distance on the Red Ring Road before turning north onto the Silver Road. Apart from a single ogre on the Red Ring and another one plus a basic minotaur on the Silver, no resistance was met. There was a dead deer on the Silver too but the one responsible for its demise wasn't there, but it had no venison so maybe it was a hungry Forester.

Upon entering the lovely town of Bruma, Lothran as always went straight to his house and put all trinkets in their respective container. Next time he will light the fireplace and prepare himself for hibernation.

Yes they do! Knights of the Nine armor is aesthetically pleasing to the eyes.

Lothran does good things, but he's an adventurer, not a knight/soldier. He never even bothered with the whole "Sir Knight" thing bestowed upon him in Leyawiin after defeating Black Brugo.

Lothran is now sitting in his usual place at the Jerall View after having conducted some business in town. Guards are patrolling, Karinnarre is refusing to ever go home, and snow is falling.


So yes; everything is as it should be

Plundered Mine has been cleared; first time for the 2025 season.

As is a regular occurance there was an infight between a Goblin Warlord and the Three Feather goblins. Though I recon the Warlord is an invader so perhaps it's not an infight. Either way it's always fun to watch

As a matter of fact Lothran has now also cleared out Capstone Cave, another part of his winter routine. Not a lot to say about it. He got a nice shield (enchanted) to add to his collection and some Septims but that's about it.

My Nibenese Imperial Decentius Decumus has just begun the Order of the Hour quest. He's halfway along the Knights of the Nine, and was just knighted a Knight of the White Stallion. Mazoga the Orc made a good traveling companion for him.

My biggest gripe with the remaster is that there doesn’t seem to be a way to turn off the extra content you aren’t ready to get into yet. Yes I know I can mostly ignore it, but that won’t make the Chapel of Dibella any less of a slaughterhouse when I walk into it for the first time, or keep the annoying Prophet guy from disturbing the peace in Anvil.

Annoying. That chapel is destroyed in Lothran's world too even though I deactivated the DLC.

Edit:

First excursion to the west of Hermaeus Mora's shrine and this time it was a Spider Deadra waiting for us beyond the steps. Not a single ogre on the way however which is quite rare, only bears. Additionally, when Lothran was running up to a bandit with Snowflake in hand and the Weakness spell ready, the bandit didn't react. Turns out it was yet another friendly female Khajiit bandit. After paying the obligatory 100 gold to be in her presence he then smoothtalked her up to 99 Disposition, so now he has a new bff!
