A mace is a mace, whether it has spikes or not. And one with a chain would be called a "Morning Star".

But back on topic, I prefer blades. More speficly, I like Katanas, Dai-Katanas, and CLaymores. But bows and throwing knifes are great too.

bows ^ ^. i can't help it, I can never be the brawny melee fighter. i prefer distance between myself and the target.

i.e. diablo 2=amazon
WC3=darkelves priestess of the moon.
WoW=havent played but if i did it wuld be as a ranged character.
Priston tale=atalanta

yah lol.

Nothin better then picking off enemies with your long bow when their still just little grey blobbs on the horizen; and when they get to close smash them with a giant hammer. biggrin.gif

It would be ranged for me if it weren't for the large ammo costs. With that said I must say that I must go with the cost efficiant sword. I less than three broadswords!

Blade for me.

I like the Naginata (jap. (don't know english name) a short swordblade with a spearhandle, if you didn't know).

I also fall for ..., well either a long shortsword or a short longsword. Both handy and effective in combat. (A Ninjas primary weapon)

I think the Naginata is sorta like the Japanese version of the european halberd.. You know?

it pisses me off, cuz i got really good at my sneak skill. so i could go up and critical strike people, but you can do it with any weapon, so whats the point in having a short blade to be stealthy (even though short blade is coolest, cuz its like a ninja). the short baldes do the least damage compared to the other weapons (besides fist of course). does the game give you any advantages with stealth for using a short blade that i dont know? because i can sneak up on people just as well with a war hammer.
