Here's some (I see your a naruto fan so)

Naruto: Dattebayo!

Kakashi: Uh, Naruto, your speech was cool and all, but if you lose any more blood, you're going to die.

And here's some from One Piece I like:

Roronoa Zoro: I am always serious.
Nami: That's what makes you so stupid.

Usopp: Talking's easy, but we'll need true strength for the battle. What are you guys capable of?
Roronoa Zoro: Slicing!
Monkey D Luffy: Stretching!
Nami: Thieving!
Usopp: I'll be hiding!

Here's one from a short X-com fan fic I once wrote.

(After sergeant Ironhead has defeated four heavily armed Ethereals with just his bare fists, his commander walks to the evil alien brain that controls all the aliens in the system so that he can blow it to pieces. Alien brain tries to talk its way out of things with the help of a nice screen to show funny pictures with and the commander lowers his weapon. Unfortunately, sergeant Ironhead picks up a gun from one of the death Ethereals and vaporizes the barin with some good old plasma.)

Commander Vogel:,, Sergeant, no! What have you done?! You just ruined everything! We could have become friends! It was right and we were wrong! They never intended to destroy us! Why?!!”

Sergeant Ironhead:,, That was the worst and most boring movie I’ve ever seen. Lousy special effects.”

Here's another one from one of my stories, a different universe this time.

,,Ah, finally back again. Now before we’re going to save the galaxy as we know it, does anyone want some coffee?”
,,Is that all you can think about, captain? We nearly got killed over a dozen times back there!”
,,You can’t go to war when you’re thirsty."

And a last one. (yes, the captain is addicted to coffee.)

captain (after having threatened to blow up the ship):,, I’m not going to let those braindead morons onboard. I’m not a politician, but even I know that no one will care about my little threat if they have those monkeys onboard who probably don’t even know how the coffee machine works!”
Some alien they picked up on the other side of the galaxy:,, What is the importance of coffee for your race?”
captain:,, I just think it tastes good, that’s all."

I love the qoute we can for example see in Minque's story of Serene by Churchill "It's not enough that we do our best; sometimes we have to do what's required" - I just love qoutes from WW2, another one is "You won't get Purple Heart hiding in a foxhole, go out there and fight!" Or something like that biggrin.gif

her are a couple I've heard:

Roy M. Cohn: Go after a man's weakness and never, ever, threaten unless you are going to follow through, becuase if you don't, the next time you wont be taken seriously.

Stephen Ambrose: The past is a source of knowledge, and the future is a source of hope. Love of the past implies faith in the future

Yogi Berra: You can observe a lot by just watching

Then a very common one: Ignorance is bliss, my friend. biggrin.gif

Then I was reading Exile's Honor by Mercedes Lackey (awsome autor IMO) and I read this: "Expertise can get you to good, but practice gets you to master" or something very close to that

I htink i'll post more later but I'll have to upturn my room to find the paper with quotes on it....

I have quite a number of quotes that I like. Most of them are really old though.

"A badly led mob is no more an army than a heap of building materials is a house" Herodotus or some other old guy.

"Only the dead have seen the end of the war" some old guy, Plato maybe.

"I don't shake hands with homosexuals" George Becali (the owner of a big romanian soccer team, Steaua Bucharest, which is in the Uefa Cup semifinals with Middlesborough)

One of my favorite quotes are,

"When you are courting a nice girl an hour seems like a second. When you sit on a red-hot cinder a second seems like an hour. That's relativity."-Albert Einstein

Here's another favorite of mine by a true hero,

"Every man dies. Not every man really lives."-William Wallace viking.gif

And the last two are in my signature, so you've probably seen them already laugh.gif.

"Be not afraid of greatness: some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them."-William Shakespeare

"The whole art of war consists of guessing at what is on the other side of the hill."-Arthur Wellesley
