@Renee - thanks, I also find the Nathan scene funny. @Acadian - you noticed good, PP indeed gives everyone a chance to surrender. Also, he never sneak attacks and never shoots in the back (unless an aggressive NPC is running away from him). Sometimes he also fires a warning shot, let's say towards some raiders so they notice him. @SubRosa - I used the console command "startcombat player" on Moriarty so he attacked first and other Megtonians didn't turn hostile. @TheCheshireKhajiit - PP Barlow liked to go to the SuperDuper Mart too, before the war of course. @SubRosa - PP usually aims for the head. Why waste bullets and hit a leg, for instance? @Acadian - the market went through a heavy stocktaking, supervised by PP. @Renee - they do respawn with mods. __ I think you may still remember Ally Gator, my character that was mostly active in 2015 and 2016. In short, Ally is a girl from Louisana, more about her can be read here, who came to the Capital Wasteland quite some time ago. But she didn't like the place that much, though she helped the Brotherhood outcasts retrieving their pre-war gear, Ally is mostly a swamp-girl, so she traveled to Point Lookout. There she battled the forces of evil (in other words, she b34t the main quest) but more importantly, she met Nadine, who has become her girlfriend. Since then, Ally spends most of her time in Point Lookout, dealing with pesky smugglers, preventing the swampfolk to overpopulate and maintaining friendly relations with tribals and a few locals that actually live there. In other words, she's a protector of Point Lookout. Some old pics:Ally's introductory pic"Should I?"Dealing with smugglersPreventing the swampfolk to overpopulateMaintaining good relations with tribalsWatching over localsShe survived an explosion tooBattling the forces of evilAlly & NadineSo what's new with Ally?First of all, short hair is no longer in, Ally boasts some dreadlocks now. But I really didn't like the lipstick effect and heavy eyeliner the Type3 mod applies, so I installed the default face back and I like it much, much more, not only she's prettier, she looks more natural and more like a tribal. So here is natural Ally, which I'm going to stick with. She still likes to bathe in the swamp water. This post has been edited by Lopov: Aug 29 2017, 04:52 PM

Point Lookout was Khajiit's favorite part of Fallout3! The atmosphere there is just so damn heavy! Sounds like Mr. Sam Baron would like hanging out with Ally!

QUOTE(Lopov @ Aug 29 2017, 10:12 AM) It's my favorite place too, not because of the quest(s) but because of the setting and overall feel of the place.
This is why Khajiit thinks New Orleans and surrounding swamps with the mighty Mississippi River right through the map would be such a cool setting for a Fallout game. The city would have its unique blend of vibrancy, weirdness, and darkness, while the swamps would be ominously forbidding.

I always loved Officer Gator. Now that is dealing with overpopulation! Kenny! I like Natural Ally better too. The dreads are a great new look! She is quite the bombshell...

@Acadian - thank you! So far Ally is my only character in any Beth game to have the same armor from day one to today. I doubt she's going to ever change it for something else. @Renee - thank you! When installing the Type3 body mod, you have options to stick to default heads or install alternate heads, obviously I installed one of the alternate ones, hence the make up and eyeliner on her face. @TheCheshireKhajiit - I remember one of the biggest complaints about PL was that it's too deserted, that there only a few non-hostile NPCs while the rest of the swamp is populated by unfriendly denizens and creatures. But that's how I like it and would never change it to be more crowded. In the Capital Wasteland I never get the same feeling of desolation as I do in Point Lookout. @SubRosa - thank you! Ally has a Child at Heart perk which opened up a new option during their conversation. Kenny's traps, though, were not a piece of cake! Khajiit agrees! Love the feelings of isolation and loneliness that Point Lookout inspires. More friendly NPC's does not always = better.

Persephone would be better company, but only slightly... That is one big swamplurk! Now that is better aim. Panada! One of the few people in Point Lookout that is not trying to kill you.

QUOTE(Lopov @ Sep 3 2017, 02:10 AM) @Acadian - thanks! It feels good being back with Ally again. @SubRosa - I think that swamplurks are called mirelurk hunters in the CW and they have a green tint. As a matter of fact, I'm note even sure if they are named "swamplurks" in the game or are they just called mirelurks. I'll check it the next time Ally spots one. I gave Panada the Animal Friend perk a while ago else she'd get killed by vicious dogs that inhabit nearby streets. Not sure if Panada, Haley and other locals are allied with swampfolk but I guess they are. Row row row your boat!Visiting another friend - HaleyAnd another - KennyAnd one more - MargueriteFogHelp usSniperistaThe Duchess GambitTime for a short trip......back to the Capital Wasteland More great shots from one of Khajiit's favorite spots in the wasteland! One question though, why'd Ally leave? Lol
