You need to edit the bAllowScreenshots=0 line in the Oblivion.ini file. Simply change the 0 into 1.

You may need to do this to both configuration files, meaning the one in ...\Documents and Settings\[Your Profile]\My Files\My Games\Oblivion and the one in ...\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion.

After that you can take screenshots in the game by pressing Print Screen on the keyboard. The game will save them as .bmp files in your game directory.

Well that screenshot doesn't really avidly describe in plain detail what happens at the end.

I mean jeez, a bunch of broken up buildings,
like i've yet to see that anywhere in oblivion?

Just dialouge from a passer by.

That could have been days or weeks after the final events.

Man Khaan, the first screenshot with the fur armor looks like Antonio Banderas in the thirteenth warrior, pretty cool looking guy and the movie is good too...I'll probably end up watching it later now...

Hmm... I'm still playing around with the classes-types and face creation, hoping to make a decent female, which I seem to be having trouble with... Or, it could be me and my obssession(sp?) with big eyes.

Here is Celia (Altmer healer with Speechcraft, Alchemy, Restoration and Destructive spells), whose save I accidently overwritten with another character's data (whoops!), so I'll have to remake her again. And here is my current character at face creation: A thief-like archer-battle-mage Bosmer named Rosie. (Please excuse her HUGE eyes. They look much, much better in-game, and the screenshot is a bit dark and ugly. Finally! Took me several hours, but I finally remade Celia as close as possible to the original save. In fact, I think she looks better (she doesn't have as much dark 'makeup' on... well, i havent played argonian or khajiit yet in oblivion, but my first char on morrowind was argonian...
seeing these screenshots makes me happy because beast races can actually wear helmets and boots!

Might as well pin this so that it's easier to find.

Anyway, decided to try a Khajiit for the first time ever. Didn't make one in Morrowind so I thought I could make one now. The fact that a less "beast-like" breed are now present doesn't bother me either and the fact that boots and helms are now usable by the beastfolk is just swell.

So, without further ado, I present to you: the lil' adorable kitty Dar'Nex. If you happen to see him running around on the streets of Cyrodiil you'd better give him some catnip. Or some Moon Sugar. Or well, perhaps you'd be better off by just turning around and slowly walking away.

I love TFC (Toggle free camera), it makes taking cool screen easy.

Sadly, though you can't move your character in any direction while in free camera mode. You can however 'attack' with your weapons, unlike when holding R down. And it can move anywhere for a super-cool shot.

Finally got to make a character of the race I favor most. If things turn out as they did with Morrowind, I'll probably play this very character until I reach level 50 or so.

Found a nice robe and jewel for him as well. And I made sure that the previous owner won't need them.

Wow Rane! Those are some cool outfits and one mean looking character!

How do you get him to look so angry? Did you do that with the standard character creator? I feel like starting a new game/character now, but that would mean I'd have to do all the quests again... Any way to edit the character appearence after starting a game?

That's what I'vee been wondering too, because I made my characters hair blue when it was suposed to be black.

I should put a screeny here of her, I managed to get her to have a angry look about her. It's about the eyes and nose. Don't put the eyebrows too high, and I think it was the nose concave-convex thing that makes the nose to give that snear look.

Yes I did try that once, and all skills etc. were reset. I was hoping there was maybe a mod / skin-making tool or something.

No big deal though, as I think I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen the face of my character (except for the screen that comes up when you equip the character)...

In addition: Rane's guy may have just been expressing anger for some reason. I've found the PC char will at times, for no logical reason, suddenly adopt a emotion.

Usually they look angry after combat, and will smile at a NPC who has a high disposition towards them. I think.

I appreciated Geonox's tut at the beginning and I've edited my .ini file for screenshots. But could someone please tell me how you are getting to face your character ingame to take the screen? I can only get the back of her. The only way I know to see her is to call up inventory. (I think that's how, I haven't played in quite awhile because my game lags alot.)

But I would like to take screenshots of the 3 characters I've made.

Or just hold down the 1st/3rd person view toggle button and use the mouse to rotate the camera.
