I have not yet discovered how to track what scripts have been collected. Grimoires show in a new tab of the skills dialog, and ink is in the craft bag in its own misc category, but where do I see scripts? They need to be “used” for curation, but then they’re no longer in inventory. Where do they go?

The scraps that add up to the Class script are counted under Achievements/Gold Road/Scribing. There’s a Class achievement ther that shows the running count, and completes at 50 for the character. But then that Script will be somewhere else.

My newest character is still doing Undaunted dailies, so she gets a guaranteed Affix script from it. Going to the Scholarium, I can see them in the available list, but that’s not the most convenient way to find out.

Open your skills menu and select the grimoire icon. Then left (I think) click on one and it will bring up the appropirate sub scripts that can be used for that grimoire. Gosse showed me that and it is better than nothing but still not very helpful. UESP wiki is slowly catching up on scribing and is already fairly helpful so worth checking out. Buffy the templar has been doing two West Weald dailies and one each MG, FG, undaunted delve dailies each day and each of them seems to provide her a new script each day so far.

Still a mystery but even reviewing what the 'big kids' (Alcast, Deltia, Hack, etc) say, I don't see any scribed skill in the running to replace anything Buffy already has slotted. The pretty colors are nice though - yay for blue vigor!

I get the impression that Scribing will be used to fill in some gaps, such as a class not having access to a buff/debuff via normal skills. I am looking at the possibilities of tanking with weapons other than sword and board or staff. Taunt and Pull focus scripts with an AoE Grimoire adds something new, too.

I was intrigued that the spell Buffy scribed as part of the questline provided major breach. As a templar she gets that from the Night Mother Gaze set so it wouldn't be terrible to get it via a skill. But as an Oakensoul mage, skill slots are at a premium and any skill she slots has to be a great one to earn a slot. The wardens get major breach from shalks which a great skill so no concern there. As a magsorc, she gets her major breach from Elemental Susceptibility. So the magsorc compared EleSus to the scripted skill from the questline. EleSus is cheaper, lasts twice as long, does a tiny bit more damage and costs nothing - so EleSus wins on that one.

She also runs a constant HoT on herself and her companion to proc spell power cure and keep the companion healthy. So she could be interested in crafting a good HoT - but I really can't see any of the scripting possibilities beating Vigor on that count with its radius of 15M and duration of 15 seconds.
