Technically we have to wait 8 days because the games are shipped on the 20th but they will arrive at most destinations on the 21st.

If you can drag paralysed people, I would just use invisibilty, drag them into a vampire lair, and wait until he wakes up evillol.sml.gif
now THAT'S entertainment.

Cost of dragging person into vampire lair: a Invisibilty spell.
Watching man get horribly murdered: Priceless.

I decided to go delving into the Chorrol unknown, so here's today's 'thread from the dead'. Literally. Seems like dragging dead bodies around would be something new in 2006. So I gotta ask, how do our various characters handle this?

My various characters are pretty much all the same: if they care about the deceased NPC, they'll make some sort of effort to drag him or her off somewhere. They'll hide them in some grass or bushes, there's usually some sort of effort made because seeing a stablehand die after losing a fight to a troll or a pack of wolves, and then having this NPC just lying around while other NPCs wander off and start talking about goblins (and how horrible they are ) is rather disturbing.

I did have one character in the past (an evil sort of witch) who lived at Weatherleah. She often had a bounty on her head, so if a guard managed to figure out where she lived, and she managed to kill this guard on her premises, she would wind up performing an 'arcane ritual' on this guard's body.

She would drag the guard into her penta-circle, and then do whatever it was she did. mellow.gif

Morbid topic, I know. wink.gif

Lildereth lives at Shetcombe Farm in her game, so she dragged two dead slaughterfish over from the nearby goblin lair for storage. Other than that I don't recall any playing with corpses. I tend to ignore that they're there, though, especially the ones involved in the Main Quest. Certain characters would just not be left where they fell. I suppose dragging them to the bushes might be an improvement.

I do recall Alval Ulvani appearing dead on the road to Skingrad in some character's game. It was more of a "ha ha, dick" moment than an opportunity for a funeral. That character must have died before the body became an eyesore.

Buffy leaves two legged varmints to feed those small creatures of Kynareth who keep the forest clean. Bandits at campsites are rolled down a hill or into the brush. Soldiers are given a funeral pyre and their shields (and horses if they survive) are delivered to the nearest guards. (Command spells to coax horses to follow).

Ah...I like that idea: coaxing the horse to follow.

Aravi tends to leave dead bodies where they lie unless they are in a body of water. Then she pulls the dead bodies (animals, people) out before they foul the water. Then she may swim depending on if the water is gross or not.

Lothran doesn´t move them around unless they die in an unnatural position like backwards so their heads touch their feet. Then he simply moves them around a bit. Otherwise he doesn´t touch them.

Kayla moves the bandits and vampires she kills up-close away from the light and into corners, shadows, and behind pillars.

Falador quite often grabs a head of his dead enemies to see their face. This does happen with either bandits that gave him a lot of trouble either with some unique targets like afore mentioned Alval Uvani.

If he had a fight on a bridge, then he sometimes throws the corpses over to the river.

And in one of his early days he killed a Bruma guard because he arrested him before. He dragged his body behind the stables to hide him and then striped him to his loincloth and placed all the items around the corpse. He wanted the scene to look morbid.

And I think he took his cuirass as a souvenir.

Oh yea this is true, if there's water nearby, it's a good place to drag a body!

This topic is so morbid. And we're all discussing it so casual-like! hehe.gif

If there are several corpses... I position them to a very compromising series of positions.

Other times, I just pretend that they're alive and talk to them about casual topics, like how the weather looked nice before I chopped their head off into two. I move their facial expressions like a puppet when they 'reply' to me.

Other times, I just cannibalize them. That way, they'll always be with me, and I'll never be alone again!

Its fun playing with Oblivion corpses, since they're so movable, but I find that the Skyrim ones are too.... stiff. Kinda sucked, but whatever.
