OMG, I love it!! Hopefully the neighbors won’t hear us Shouting from the street. We could get a reputation as the house full of deranged lunatics.

I can’t wait to hear the complaining when it can’t understand everyone’s accents. Yol toor shul, y’all!! tongue.gif

[Censored] I gotta get an Xbox. I've been on the fence about buying one for awhile now because Morrowind is on Xbox, but this finalizes it. I'm so sick of the clumsy menu-jumping on the PS3...that's probably my only big complaint about Skyrim on PS3.

I wonder how well it actually works in the midst of battle, though. Will I have to shout something over and over before the computer realizes what I'm saying?

Most of the stuff announced in all that is already available to the PC users, mind. Either as mods or as vanilla game features, for which some of them we are able to tweak to our liking. Only thing new here is the follower voice commands.

I'm just fine with this one staying on Xbox, TYVM. smile.gif

The shouts sound interesting to do that way. Although I noticed that one sounds like "Tea". So be careful if you ask for something to drink while playing!

Saying "Equip Dual Fire Spell" sounds just as clunky as using a hotkey or opening the menu. Especially when you are in the middle of combat, and your voice is not calm and measured like the person giving the examples. I expect the game will have trouble recognizing many commands yelled out during the heat of the moment.

I read a bunch of posts over at Bethsoft, and of course most of them were negative, just for the sake of being so. Some people expect DLC instead of Kinect, though, and I get that. I totally get that.

I dunno. It's something new. A new way to roleplay. I'm all for something new, as long as it doesn't cost a lot of money. and if I don't like it or it doesn't work right, I can just return the device. Or give it to my nephew. He's on Xbox, too.

Gimmick.

Knee-jerk reaction.

I quite like the idea, personally. I can't use it, on account of having a PC version, but it seems a pretty cool one to me. Not sure how well it would be implemented, but it would certainly work with the shouts. Plus belting them out in the middle of a fight with a dragon would be fun, and a great way to get into the shoes/hobnailed boots of your dragonborn.

Only thing is that I only know one shout... lol. I have a PC version too, but I'd like to see how this works.

Edited because I don't care. If you like the Kinect enjoy it.
