Ah, I've got some pictures to share, too. Keep forgetting... Avery looks fine, rockin' the DG armor. Compliments his skin tone. And from earlier pics: whoa, is that Ryo? Yeah it is. I've been picturing him with that slight bit of facial hair. Love the sunset pic. ☀

M'aiq rules! Cindha Mine, that's the Markath quest, right? I remember playing that on Xbox, getting REALLY excited to be a prisoner, for some reason. But it was not as immersive as I thought it'd be. It was too easy to get out of. That'd be a great mod idea, if someone hasn't done it yet. Really flesh out the inmate experience! 🔑 Have fist-fights occur, and so on. Is Avery allied with Forsworn? Love that pic of them all gathered around. And there's Miss Stormy. She's the one who's game became too easy, right? Those sort of games are still fun, at least for a couple hours. It's fun being an Uber for awhile! Kids can bring home nasty mudcrabs, yes. Maybe you can go Photoshop and paint its carapace some pretty colors. QUOTE(Renee @ Feb 16 2023, 08:23 AM) Kids can bring home nasty mudcrabs, yes. Maybe you can go Photoshop and paint its carapace some pretty colors. I recall that boys may adopt a mudcrab or skeever, and girls have a rabbit or a fox. Homeowner decides if they go or stay. The fun part is the Hearthfire houses can get infested with skeevers, and that takes no regard for whether there’s a pet one in the house at the time.

Really? Wow, never seen that. That would be fun if we could get a Predator animal into a Hearthfire home. Put those skeevers into the Prey Faction. There'd have to be some sort of cleanup script, I guess, to clean the corpses.

I think it may be different on consoles. I remember the boy in my game bringing a fox home, and the girl indeed wanting a rabbit, and I wasn't all too sure how that would go if both were allowed to stay...

macole: I didn't like the Dwarven helm, so I swapped it out for an Elven one, since it is also golden. Renee: That is the Markarth quest, where you uncover the Forsworn plot with the Silverbloods, go in the mine, and either help Madanach escape, or kill him (or both!). Avery is definitely not allied to the Forsworn! He walked up to find them standing over those dead guys, whom I presume they had just killed. For some reason they did not turn hostile upon Avery. Just one of those weird glitches ES games get when the bad guys don't attack for some reason. I always eventually have the problem of the game getting too easy once my characters get too high level. So I have been adding more difficulty by capping how high I take the Enchanting skill, and I stopped using a mod that allows you to skip over perks that you did not want to take, but have to in order to unlock other ones higher up the tree. That sort of thing. ghastley: I think I had the skeever infestation happen once with the Lakeview house, years ago. If I recall correctly in the process of killing the skeevers, I also killed my kid's pet skeever as well, because I could not tell them apart. Acadian: That's interesting that the made the regular Bretons Scottish. Usually Bethesda goes with a mix of Gaelic and French names for the Bretons. Since Breton = Brittany IRL, and the people there now are the descendants of those who migrated from south-western England a long time back. Both January and I were thinking the same thing. Valhalla awaits, indeed. Plenty of "Valhalla" moments in this game. Whoa, there she is, right in Laprima's home! Yeah, that has to get worked into the story, somehow. Looks like someone got King Olaf alight. Wonder who that could be? In my gameworld this was originally Lord Haaf-Mersey, long ago. But the thing is, LHM didn't join Bards College until later, well into the Year 202 perhaps. But it looks like Jan actually got the party going well before... Spleck! What's going on in the final picture? Unfamiliar to me.

I resurrected Mzthlft, my Dwemer ghost character to tesy some new stuff for Forsworn Hearthfires. Or should that just be brought back, as she's still a ghost? Anyhow, I liked this screen shot. You look pale. Are you sickening for something? This post has been edited by ghastley: Feb 25 2023, 05:40 PM
