QUOTE(SubRosa @ Oct 30 2014, 09:23 PM) I am still holding out for the single player version...
Does it have a campaign mode? Truthfully, I would love to RP with a few of the people whose characters I've come to know and love - like Buffy and Teresa - meeting them in game and clearing a dungeon or just sitting in a tavern sipping a glass of Tamika's and talking - to me, that would be awesome, if there was a way to tone down interaction with every online RP'er out there who has a sword and wants to fight you. Like a co-op mode or something, a way our characters could really hang out together. I would love it, if we could do it that way. When my son first got on an online game, he was repressively shy and wouldn't talk - just listen to the others. Within a month we never saw him without his headset on, he was on that thing constantly talking; and it helped his shyness outside the game too. Many of the guys he played online with went to the local high school, so when he left middle school and started high school, he had established friendships already walking in the door - he didn't go through the same scared nervous period that he did going into middle school. Speaking of online RPing, I saw a hilarious vid on YouTube of someone playing Skyrim and doing their RP verbally as they met Vilja; really funny vid series. While it would be nice to link up with friends, I guess mods that do more than change user interface are not possible. One of the things I love about ES is the ability to change whatever aspects of the game world suit my whims via mods. There is much wisdom for me in SubRosa's sentiment about an SP version. To me the biggest draw of ES(O) would be the ability to explore all of Tamriel - and an on line game is not needed for that. One can only hope that, in the future, the answer to 'Where will the next SP TES game take place?' will be 'All of Tamriel.' I don't mind one bit if travel between provinces is simply crossing borders (like the Elsweyr and Valenwood mods do in Oblivion) or if each province is its own world space (like Oblivion did with Shivering Isles and Skyrim did with Solstheim). Anyway, I continue to be curious about how ESO is doing.

QUOTE(mirocu @ Oct 24 2014, 10:57 AM) You could have kept it in your TES collection, Grits You mean in this collection? I can't think of it as a TES game! I'd love a co-op type situation in a real TES game, but there's too much about the ESO game world that's all game and not enough world from what I've seen so far.

I love your mousepad, be careful not to spill that liquid brown stuff onto it! Is that Venus, with Cupid flitting by in the corner? I don't see any wings, so I suppose not.

That would be great, to visit the familiar places and characters but with friends in game beside us - really don't want to play in a totally strange environment both ways (online gaming and the game itself) - but if they had a campaign mode where you could become comfortable in the world first, then ease out amongst a few friends - that would be easier for me. Does anyone know if it includes campaign mode? (I know Todd Howard would be ticked at hearing that said after all the years of begging for them to make TES a MMORG - but he should have considered his target audience and made the campaign mode just in case, lol).

QUOTE(Darkness Eternal @ Nov 1 2014, 06:34 AM) The only thing I hate about this is folks ruining it for you.
Seriously, when people don't rp it ticks me off. Most mmorpgs let you in a RP server but even then people don't respect it.
I would like it if there were small parties that could play together - like five friends from here or something - people we know and like, lol. I am always reminded of the scene in South Park where Eric Cartman's mom is holding the pan behind him so he can play without stopping when he needs to take a crap, ROFL !! I'll try to find the vid and post it, lol. http://vimeo.com/89858791This post has been edited by mALX: Nov 20 2014, 10:30 PM

QUOTE(King Of Beasts @ Jan 26 2015, 05:13 PM) ESO isn't so bad
How does one become a werewolf though?
Hmm. You have to find the high-level NPC werewolves in the wilderness that spawn during full moons. You fight them and get bitten and infected with Sanies lupinus or Canis Hysteria. After that you'll find an NpC werewolf female in the city who can tell you to find a priest or follow the scent of her glove to a pack leader. If you choose the pack leader route, you'll search for Songamdir in a shrine of Hircine. You'll be taken to the Hunting Grounds and, well, I won't spoil what happens. Hunt well, friend! Who knows we can see search other in the game and go attack some villages!

And yet I am, and live—like vapours tossed. I long for scenes where man hath never trod A place where woman never smiled or wept There to abide with my Creator, God, And sleep as I in childhood sweetly slept, Untroubling and untroubled where I lie The grass below—above the vaulted sky.â€
