Just updating.

Am still working on it, am just trying to get a copy of adobe photoshop so i can work with the site design smile.gif

Am also having problems with the connection i am sharing with my neighbour, lets just say he likes torrents...have also knackered my neck this weekend, which has made working on a comp hard  kvright.gif

The basic template is in place. i have also sorted out some webspace with work so i can upload draft copies when need be, will try and have something up soon!

Yeah, with the competition date, and even OB's release coming closer, we need a solid website to point to.

Any news?

Yeh, just got another website out the way which moves this up to a higher priority. Have also pretty much finished my admin template, which am quite proud of. Will apply that to this site, i had done some front end stuff for this site but some, urh, differences came up over the design...Anyhow, ill just get it up and get the main functionality going, we can tweak after i guess.

At least for me the links/buttons sometimes partially cover the text.

I'm using Mozilla Firefox.

I am currently supporting IE 6 and Firefox. I am going to add some features which may mean it only works in javascript enabled browsers (it may still work without but not look as good), is this an issue for anyone?

I always try to have my code validate but i refuse to support every browser under the sun for obvious reasons. Opera can go to hell..

Thought i would explain:

http://www.savinggraceband.co.uk/tes/

If you click on "more" at the top you will see the white decreases. Originally there was going to be a scrollbar for the content but it just looks plain awful (you cant change the scrollbar colours in firefox). So what i planning on doing is having it scroll up or down when you click less or more, im guessing this is what the designer wanted? It should look pretty good like that.

The facility to alter static pages on the site is in place and adding simple content will be easy. I should be able to have a lot more to show by the weekend.

Seb

oh: i have had to alter the dimension of the design hence the images may not look as crisp. I generally try and have my sites use up very little bandwidth, at the moment there are about 100k worth of images. I hate slow websites..Anyway these things can be changed to what ever you guys want.

Oops...Was testing out a java chat client and get myself banned from the network.

Host: host-84-9-200-24.bulldogdsl.com

Banned, was my fault. Stupid me, kept refreshing the page..if anyone knows how to get me unbanned it would be greatly appreciated. Ill make sure i dont do that again..

http://www.savinggraceband.co.uk/tes/chat.php

I can put the chat in a new window or leave it like that? and ill also add a login page first so that users can type in a username before entering the chat room.

Sorry work isnt moving so quick, its getting there.

edit: i can use the other java irc client if people would prefer but this one was more customizable.

Still here,

Been a busy last week will hopefully be able to start finishing off the site soon. There shouldnt be much to do as the admin/database section is in place adding 1 page content is an extremely simple process.

I need to look at the current site to understand how each page is supposed to work, hopefully its not too complex.

Best be off!

How much longer? It's been two months since the last post. I'd just like to know when it might be finished.
