In Arena they basically looked like goofy humans, but with each new edition they appear more and more slick & sly as they should.

I created a new character on EU, just to wear the new Battle Bra. I made her a dark Dark Elf for the colour contrast I was aiming for, and called her Miranu Hlaalu, after Falanu’s cousin in my Gweden story.

I'm worried that she's living up to her name.

Great shots! I thought there were slaughterfish out there if you swam out too far from Hundings? I think I remember Jerric finding some when the place was the NA guildhall.

Yes there are slaughterfish, but they leave quite a bit of space for diving.



You can't swim out to the big rock, but there's a decent amount of room near the beach. That line may be a bit pessimistic, too, as you can get to the smaller rocks to the west, but not beyond them. It was way off - map replaced. Now I'm starting to think I may need to place some buoys (barrels?) to mark it, if they don't look stupid because they're rigid, rather than floating. posts - they're cheap and don't look stupid when they're static. Fleur got rather nibbled putting those out there. Slaughterfish are persistent fetchers.

It is fun! No special equipment required, and the fall is survivable at all levels.

Next scheduled diving session is the EU guild meeting on Monday. If you haven’t got a character on that server, create one and join us! You’re @Xenaclone, right? I can send you a Guild invite on the EU server, and you’ll get it as soon as you have someone to receive it.

And I am getting tempted to build one on NA as well. The PTS one just got wiped when they swapped back to NA characters.

Edit: Temptation was too much. NA now has its board, too.

Absolutely. My elf archer gal jumped from the BIG bridge in the southeast of Lake Rumare several times, and Bjorn Tubewyyld jumped from the Valtheim Towers bridge once.

Buffy bought the new Fashion Witch costume and is quite pleased with it. The costume’s hat is fugly and doesn’t play well with hair but other hats work just fine with it. The costume dyes pretty nicely. For the three dye slots, Buffy is using Mastic Yellow, Falinesti Green and Master Gold.

Buffy looks fabulous! That costume is a great balance of woodsy and feminine on her!

Thanks! She really does favor a mix of forest green silk and natural tan doeskin for her outfits.
