Name : Athyn Lymdremni

Race : Dunmer

Class : Spellsword/Ranger

Age : 326 years old

Sex : Male

Appearance : 5’7. Long Graying hair, rough stubble on his chin (lack of shaving). A large nasty scar on the left side of his face (left eye grey and blind due to this). Numerous scars scattered around his body.

Equipment : Longbow, 30 steel arrows, a pair of dwarven axes (one handed version). Leather boots and breeches (with hidden pouches that has small lightweight metal plates sown in for protection), short-sleeved ringmail shirt (covered by a black gambeson), steel knife (hidden in boot holster), hooded dark green travel worn cloak, leather gloves with ‘removable fingers’, silver ring that fortifies his destruction spells a little bit, amulet of the Tribunal (decorative), 3 minor healing potions, 3 stamina potions, 2 cure disease potions, various food and general survival equipment (cutlery, waterskin, bedroll etc)

Allegiance : Sellsword/Mercenary so loyalty is to his contractor.

Personality : A gruff mer who has spent most of his life either in one war or the other, or as a sword for hire, Athyn is generally serious no nonsense kind of mer who speaks the truth as he sees it and doesn’t sugar coat it either. While not unfriendly he is far from the life of the party, but can be depended on as he keeps to the word of his contract, so until his contract is done he’ll do his best.

Brief History : Born in the year 99 of the Third Era in a rather poor farmer family on House Telvanni lands he eagerly left his miserable home at the age of 21 to join the Dunmer forces in the War of the Red Diamond in year 120 of the Third Era. He learnt quickly enough how to fight with either one or a pair of axes (earning his share of scars to learn it the ‘hard way’) and struck up a friendship with a Telvanni mage who had also joined in the fighting and learnt his fair share of destruction and conjuration magic.
Though the war ended in a loss (himself grievously wounded and losing one eye during the Siege of Solitude) he discovered that the life of a soldier appealed to him far more than farming, so when he had healed from his injuries he set out on his own, offering his sword for pay.
For almost three hundred years he’s travelled Tamriel as a Sellsword, sometimes alone, sometimes with others, hunting down dangerous animals, criminals, bandits, clearing out forts and caves alike to earn coin and loot to spend in whatever city he decides to stay in.

Other Relevant info :
A brief mention on skills: He’d be around expert level with bow and axe(s), adept at conjuration, alchemy and destruction. While an excellent warrior who can potentially life for probably another three hundred years due to his race, he has lived a hard life and is starting to feel it, as such he is not as agile and enduring as he used to be, but is still quite strong. Having lived large parts of his life on the road he is a deft hand at cooking, hunting/tracking and herbal remedies (like curing poisons or diseases).

Tellie, it's been a long time since you've graced us with your groin-kicking presence, but I must warn you now. The RP section is a beast that does not answer to the spell of resurrection. Not even the most potent spell of necromancy can revive this.

But whatevs, I'm game lololololol

Hmm...perhaps said groin kicking is what is needed since necromancy has failed. And as you know if you've read any of my fanfics I (or more specifically my characters) are MORE than capable of inducing said groin kicks XD

Anywho, I'm glad to see that you're willing to give it a go, and perhaps it's true what was said in the planning thread, we start out small with a few simple RP's and hope to attract others as we go into bigger and better RP's

On that note, anyone still frequenting the Elder Scrolls Forums (or rather the monstrosity it has become)? perhaps we could try some paching XD.

I remember you RPing as Zaeed in our first RP together. That was fun! And no, I for one has never been to OfFor since.. Ever, actually. Chorrol's my main den of inequity.

[COMPLETED]

Name : Dilemma

Race : Dunmer

Class : The Party-Baggage. She has no noteworthy combative abilities whatsoever, physical or magical, and the closest thing she had had to violent encounter was running away from a gang of other kids wanting to beat her up. A tattooed Bosmer calling himself Ylenno taught her the bare basics of fistfighting but she's not anything special. Despite her meager skills, she's a spunky little spitfire, and is eager to learn from whoever is willing to teach her the martial aspects of the adventurer's life. (I'm looking at all of you, guys.)

Age : 14

Sex : Guess.

Appearance : Diminutive as a bosmer, Dilemma's time on the streets have toughened her body up to discomfort and while she may be thin as a scarecrow she can and will show surprising resiliency surprising for her age. She keeps her white hair short, in a boyish cut, and her rather average face is pock-marked by all sorts of tattoos she inked herself. Her left ear is pierced by a cheap, pearl earring and she has a scar, a star shaped star, in her forehead. She wears scruffy clothes.

Equipment : A life spent as a parentless orphan on the streets taught Dilemma the value of practicality. Aside from the bare basics of urban survival -a little bit of money, a couple of average quality lockpicks and one potion of dubious effect- she has little to call her own. She has a Breton foil made of inferior iron, and she finds that it is only useful scaring away thugs or muggers. She prefers using her home-made brass knuckles if she ever finds herself in a fight.

Allegiance : Apart from those who'd provide her something she wants (combat experience, adventurer advice, money, etc), she feels beholden to no one and generally looks out for herself and her pets.

Personality : She shows the traits associated with the Dunmer youth - brash, headstrong, vulgar and passionate to the extreme. A naturally confrontational and prideful being curbed and wizened by a life of hardship on the streets. She is curious but cautious as well.

Brief History : From as far back as she can remember Dilemma had been spending her life on the constant run, jumping from one city to the other, never staying long as if she is hounded by danger. She has made a couple of friends and contacts throughout the various cities, people who have generally taken pity on the young nomadic Dunmer. Currently she is in Anvil, where she has heard that the Fighter's Guild are offering three days of free training for those who are willing.

Other Relevant info : She's mute and owns a pet imp, a stray cat and a dog that she named King, Princess and Queen respectively. The four share a simple telepathic bond. Dilemma does not know where this bond came from, only that it had been there since as far as she can remember. Since she can't speak, she communicates by writing what she wants to say on a magical vellum that automatically erases whatever is written there after a time.

Work in Progress

Name : Edril Rothan

Race : Dunmer

Class : Sorcerer

Age : 215

Sex : Yes, please wink.gif (I fear no-one tongue.gif ) Okay, okay. Male.

Appearance : Above average height for a Dunmer, with a heavier build to match. His face is gaunt, with slender, vaguely aristocratic features, emphasised by a black goatee. His thick, shoulder length hair is combed back but left loose. Has a burn scar on his left cheek that pulls at the corner of his mouth, turning his expression into a near perpetual sneer.

Equipment : Cyrodiilic Dwarven armour; full set minus helmet. Carries a silver dagger. Has several sets of dark red robes from Morrowind to wear when he doesn't need to be armoured. Has a sturdy backpack with a single strap that bears a feather enchantment containing; 3 lesser healing potions, 2 potions of sorcery, 2 dispel potions, and 2 cure disease potions, along with typical traveling gear.

Allegiance : Himself.

Personality : Training under Master Neloth imbued Edril with an arrogant streak, along with a disdain for any that don't use magic, and a sense of self-reliance. His Telvanni training also fostered a callous nature and his natural cunning and intelligence.

Brief History : Born and raised in Sadrith Mora, Edril's natural affinity for magic was discovered early on by his uncle, a Spellwright of House Telvanni. He learnt quickly, and entered the service of Master Neloth, where he was trained further. Styling himself after Divayth Fyr, after becoming somewhat enamoured with the tales of him, Edril took to waering heavy armour, though nothing nearly as extravagant as Fyr's deadric armour. After more than a century of service to Master Neloth, Edril attempted to rise further in the ranks of House Telvanni, by the most obvious method.

His attempt failed before it even truly began, Neloth having prepared for his attempt decades before. He was forced to leave the majority of his possessions behind, rather than risk a direct confrontation with the enraged Master, and fled Morrowind entirely. Arriving in Cyrodiil be turned his hand to freelance work and personal exploration, rather than stoop, as he saw it, to joining the Mages Guild.

Other Relevant info : Specialises in Destruction, Conjuration, and Alteration (expert rank for all three), skilled in Illusion and Mysticism(Journeyman), and is reasonably comfortable with heavy armour and has some experience with alchemy(Apprentice). He has no real skill with his dagger, which he carries only as a last resort.

He only employs elemental damage spells from destruction, favouring lightning, and due to a distaste for necromancy only summons daedra.

Buffy
Version: 1.1

Race : Bosmer. Born of a Bosmer mother and Breton father. The only manifestation of her Bretonic blood is some aptitude for, and resistance to, magic. Her resistance to magic is further augmented by her birth/standing stone (and additional worn equipment detailed below).

Class: Mystic Archer. When traveling with other adventurers, readily adapts to the role(s) of scout, sniper, utility mage as required.

Age: Appears to be in her 20s.

Sex: Female.

Appearance: Screenshot. Buffy is small, standing just under 60 in / 154 cm and weighing just over 90 lbs / 45 kg.

Equipment:
- Conjured bow. Very powerful but slow – a sniper weapon. The bow’s primary magicks are that it actually helps the weak elf manage its heavy draw and its arrows pierce armor quite effectively.

- Horse (Superian). Buffy’s ‘warship of the tundra’ provides a fast and elevated ‘perch’ from which Buffy can shoot while traveling. The mare is summonable, as is her tack. Superian is a large, heavily built warhorse, standing fully 18 hands at the withers. Her coat is blonde, accented by white mane, tail and lower legs. The mare's most unique feature is that her eyes glow with a subtle and magical blue light - clearly the horse of a mage.

- Spirit Guide (Acadian). The spirit of an ancient paladin who travels within Buffy. Buffy and Acadian are literally inseparable. The two of them have traveled time and worlds together since before the creation of Nirn. While Buffy is aware that the two have a long history together, she does not recall details from their previous ‘lives’. Acadian, however, does have complete recall of their extensive past.

- Familiar. This is a magical forest creature that Buffy can summon or dismiss with merely a thought.

- Mage satchel. Worn on Buffy’s hip and serves to carry small items she needs immediate access to, such as the coinage she might expect to spend over the course of a day.

- Clothing/armor. Buffy is most commonly encountered wearing some combination of buckskin, silk or mage field robes, often with light bracers. The feathers in her hair (and a toe ring) help resist frost. Her circlet increases her pool of magicka. Her amulet augments her already high resistance to magic.

Allegiance: Buffy is a graduate of the Arcane University and freelance member of the Mages Guild.

Personality: Chatty, plays well with others. Is both nurturing and loyal to those she calls friend. She often helps others without much thought to recompense, but readily embraces vengeance that can border on cruelty toward her foes. She is more comfortable in the background or in a supporting role rather than being in charge.

Brief History: Conceived in the treetops of Valenwood. Born in Bravil. Apprenticed to Bravil’s archery master at age 8. Orphaned at age 12. Began illusion training with the local chapter of the Mages Guild in her teens, followed by more formal training at the Arcane University. Traveling and adventuring ever since throughout the provinces of Cyrodiil, Valenwood, Elsweyr and Skyrim.

Other Relevant info: Skill details -
- Archery. Grandmaster. Specialized as a sniper.

- Stealth. Master. Between her small size and affinity for the shadows she can be extremely hard to find. When she has neither the speed of her horse nor the steel of other adventurers with her, she must rely on shadow and striking from distance to survive.

- Illusion. Master. Her primary magic school. She specializes in magical effects to augment her stealth, and her ‘mind control’ spells can frenzy, terrify or pacify living, unliving, daedra and even sentient machines.

- Conjuration. Expert. She can summon her bow, storage chest, horse and familiar. She can conjure fire runes (traps) out to some distance and typically uses them to draw hidden foes out where she can engage with her bow. She also has a long list of ‘practical mundane’ items she can summon.

- Alteration. Expert. Her primary use for this skill is a highly advanced divination spell that can detect (out to a reasonable range) anything of rabbit or larger size that can move; this includes the living, unliving, daedra and machines. This is a ‘concentration’ spell, meaning it only detects as long as Buffy is actively casting it. In combat, she typically casts a ‘barkskin’ spell upon herself to provide a bit of physical protection. She also excels with a wide range of ‘utility’ spells such as disarming traps, unlocking doors, breathing underwater, lighting dark areas, etc.

- Speechcraft. Adept. Her size and appearance will never intimidate anyone. Smoothtalking however has, on occasion, served her well. She can often talk her way out of a tavern confrontation. She can frequently persuade those with skills she lacks to help her (such as convincing an enchanter to craft a magic item).

- Destruction. Apprentice. She can cast weak fire spells to start campfires, cook, warm nearby rocks to heat a cold area, melt ice into drinking water or even draw out foes, but lacks the proficiency to effectively ‘destroy’ much with these spells.

- Restoration. Apprentice. The mages were reluctant to grant her this rank, as her healing method more resembles that of a priest or paladin than a mage. She has the ability to 'Lay on hands' which allows her to quite effectively diagnose, cure or heal, but she must empathically absorb a small amount of her patient’s pain to do so. Obviously, she must also be in physical contact with her patient for this. The healing magic that flows through her hands is actually that of her paladin, Acadian.

- Her small size, lack of strength and exclusive focus on her mystic archery skillset render her useless with other skills. She cannot:
X Pick locks or pockets (but she can open locks and disarm traps by spell).
X Fight with her fists or melee weaponry.
X Effectively use light armor (or even lift heavy armor).
X Use a shield (although she can block some with her bow).
X Craft anything (no enchanting, smithing or alchemy).
X Chop wood or mine ore.

Thanks to the timeline, I get to introduce this old character in his, well, youth. Prior to slavery, prior to lycanthropy, and everything else this man went through. I guess this RP can give him a much more simpler life.

Name: Kraven Desselius.

Race: Imperial.

Class: The Warrior.

Age: In his young adult years, just leaving his adolescent teenage years. Looks to be nineteen or twenty.

Sex: Male

Appearance: Kraven is not an imposing figure, though he is quite a hirsute fellow. He isn't tall, nor does he have any striking features aside from his shoulder-length black hair and very light facial stuble. His skin color is of a sun-kissed copper. Kraven is in healthy condition from hard-labor in the farm and kept in solid physical condition given by his numerous hunting trips, though he isn't sinewey or having any notable physical strength. His eye color is of a light hazel. The young human has no visible scars.

Equipment: All Kraven carries with him is a knapsack containing strips of meat, plants, nuts and berries and a container for water. He garbs himself in modest clothing he can afford; as often as he can he wears a stitched brown shirt along with a cheap, ripped brown pants to match and dirty old black boots to cover his feet. For combat, Kraven carries only a makeshift bow with arrows made of iron he uses to hunt deer. He's never killed a person, let alone swung a sword at someone. He's been in brawls and minor conflicts with others who never got along well, and often carries but a small knife(which so far has been used to cut fruits and wood and strips of meat). Has with him a lute and a flute. His hunting bow has a small carved wooden statue of Hircine hanging by knotted wolf fur. It is used as a good luck charm.

Allegiance: Not involved in any guilds nor organizations. A simpler farmer living close to the Great Forest with the occasional visit to the shrine of Hircine. Is not involved in any Daedric cult. His visitations to the Daedric Shrines goes as far as reverance.

Personality: Calm, impatient, angry, content is but of few words that can wholly describe Kraven Desselius. A young man growing up with no siblings, he's been used to live a solitary life as a single child to a loving mother, and a abusive, scolding father. His relationship with his mother Alessia brought the best out of him, whereas his persisting conflicts with his father, Kerstus, has resulted in the bitter side of Kraven.

All in all, Kraven strives to be an understanding, kind individual. A hard-worker willing to do whatever he can to help pay a debt not of his own for the benefit and safety of his family. Kraven can be described as being street-smart, and yet does fall short when faced in situations where he can be perceived as superior-- falling victim to the trap of overconfidence. His caustic candor can be his undoing, and has been the cause of various brawls and fights and arguments. Of course Kraven understands when to start fights, and when to finish it, and has been in most cases a person who avoids trouble when he can.

Currently disillusioned with the Nine Divines, an interest for Daedric Lords and their followers has sparked within the young man that many warned might pave a long, dark road for him in the future. Aside from his curiosity regarding deities, he holds considerable knowledge of wildlife. Flora and fauna are among Kraven's interests, and he does quite well with animals. His wolf-hound, Tiber, has been his faithful traveling companion since the animal was a pup. And living creatures in general are respected by the young farmer.

Brief History: Not much can be said of Kraven Desselius other than he was born to a poor family of common farmers in Cyrodiil. His mother Alessia is a gods-fearing woman who works the farm, and his father Kerstus was a former knight and now works his older years as a miner and a dockworker in the Imperial City Waterfront. Kraven was raised in a farm, largely unaware of what Tamriel has to offer, and thus has limited understanding of how everything works. He's traveled to and fro around Cyrodiil, from the Gold Coast to the Great Forest to the Weast Weald and beyond, though he's never been far from his family.

Kerstus, his father, involved himself with questionable company after his years as a knight and soon fell into a deep problem with gambling, drinking and whoring with a cesspool of schemers, thieves and drug-trafickers that in the end proved to be his financial undoing. Owing quite a bit of gold, and facing the possible ruination of his marriage, Kerstus vented his anger on his son, who left the house after his distant uncle came to stay with his mother while his father worked for many months at the Waterfront.
Kraven is a farmer by trade, and a hunter, as well. Often he hunts for deer, boar and whatever game the Imperial Preserve has to offer, with the aid of his best friend and loyal hound, Tiber. Though not a magnificent hunter, he does well for a young man his age and is able to support his household when his father failed to do so. He takes simple pauper jobs and tasks for coin . . . and left the comfortable surroundings of his farmland to acquire a bit of gold to put food on the table, or to pay the debt his father unleashed upon the family.

Other Relevant info: Kraven is accompanied by his dog, Tiber, who is the offspring of a joining of a grey dog and a timber wolf. He is grey in color, and rather large. He can be aggressive if his master is in danger, and is a perfect hunting companion.

And yet I am, and liveā€”like vapours tossed.
I long for scenes where man hath never trod
A place where woman never smiled or wept
There to abide with my Creator, God,
And sleep as I in childhood sweetly slept,
Untroubling and untroubled where I lie
The grass belowā€”above the vaulted sky.ā€¯

Wise Woman
Group Icon
From: Where I can watch you!!

Ok so here we go, tell me if she fits in ok!

wink.gif

Name : Rianne De Zoete

Race : Dunmer (Ashlander)

Class: Alchemist/Healer (and Assassin)

Skills: Since she was brought up by a Wise Woman she is a skilled alchemist, and a healer. she mainly use her alchemic skills to cure almost all sorts of diseases and wounds. But she is also a trained assassin, although nobody actually knows... it's her secret, but has proven to be useful:O

Age: 27

gender: Female

Birthsign: The Ritual

Appearance: Tall slender, well defined muscles. Short jet-black hair with red stripes. Her complexion is rather fair for being a Dunmer, she has probably mixed blood in her, but there is some uncertainty about it, anyway she usually makes men look at her more than once. (See picture below)

Equipment: Mortar and Pestle, a longbow and in her quiver there are some ..let's say well prepared arrows. She also always carries a shoulderbag with plants and herbs.

Personality: Rianne is a calm quiet woman, who doesn't reveal a lot about herself. She prefers listening to talking. Under stress and when someone she cares about is in any kind of trouble she can literally go off like a volcano. She is not afraid of anything or anyone, her self-esteem is very high, she has wha it takes to be a wise woman...and maybe that is what she really should be... blink.gif

Brief History: Rianne was born among the Ahemmusa Ashlanders. her mother was their current healer but died during childbirth. The baby-girl was raised by Sinnamu Mirpal the Wise Woman. Rianne was a good student and learned fast and quick and so became the so to say "future WW" Now this didn't work out well because at the age of 21 she was kidnapped from the Tribe by a group of Imperial soldiers. One of them, Marcus de Zoete, kept Rianne as a slave and after a year he married her. The marriage didn't work out, they had no children because Rianne "shut down" her fertlilty (don't ask me how, but she did!! blink.gif ) She never loved her husband, for her the marriage was just a farse!

Marcus started to treat her bad, he hit her and he hit her hard, and frequent. Rianne managed after a few years to escape from Marcus, but kept his last name, de Zoete, just for some weird kind of revenge. She got away and joined the Morag Tong, where she became an assassin. This joining of the Tong she kept to herself, and never revealed. The assassinations she has performed are all in deep secrecy, nobody knows she did them! The last 6 years she lived in Ald´ruhn, in a small room at the mage's Guild. Edwinna Elbert has taken her under her wings. Rianne's skills in alchemy har rendered her some "reputation" among the Redoran Council, and after a rescue-action at Sarethi Manor, she was "adopted" into the House by Serjo Athyn Sarethi
