I basically added this as Fallout 4 screenshots may get confused in the general thread... and seeing as the Fallout 4 players on here are quite small for now I thought it would be nice for us to have our own separate space so our screenies don't get drowned out in the screenies on the general thread (not that FO3 &NV screenies aren't gorgeous of course!
Nice idea, Rihanae. I'll add an appropriate subtitle to the other FO screenshot thread 'repurposing' it for FO3 & NV. So going forward, they'll be on separate threads.
Here's some images from Matty's recent random route through the Commonwealth (A random route is what I call it when I travel with Matty with no fixed agenda.)
I discovered the wonders of tfc 1, a console command that freezes time as well as allows free camera... how did I not know about this before?!?!
Thank you very much for the separate thread!
Rihanae, great action shots of Matty and Piper! I miss the tfc 1 command on the PS4. My screenies tend to be standing around and looking at safe things.
Iíll start taking pictures again now that thereís a place for them. Fun!
Thanks, Rihanae! Dogmeatís doggie grin makes that picture my favorite.
Rihanae, your game looks fabulous. That is great that FO4 has TFC-1, as it is such a handy console command. You can certainly see some high quality graphics in your shots as Matty and Piper wander Boston.
Grits, how nice to see Jenna and her doggiepal. I just love your second shot Ė the pose, hat, outfit all look absolutely delish!
Rihane: Matty's rebar club/dagger looks neat. I bet it leaves quite an impression in ghoul faces!
Neat airplane, with hollowed out wing for passengers.
It's a giant Mr. Handy at the robot store!
Looks like the smaller ones inside are not very friendly.
Grits: In that second pic, it looks like Jenna would fit right in out west in New Vegas. Love her hat at top/jacket combo.
Jenna completed the Greet the Dog quest! Seriously, Dogmeat is a lot more cuter and adorable in FO4.
@Rihanae - is that some sort of backpack on Matty's back or is it part of his armor?
That Ghoul looks like grown-up Falmer.
The scene with the crashed plane is my favorite.
That's one really big Mister Gutsy in the Mall pic.
@Grits - nice to see cowboy Jenna again.
The Dogmeat shot is really cute.
Acadian: Thank you! I have been having a lot of fun with TFC 1 and has saved a lot of time with taking them! (I used to rely on tai)
SubRosa: Haha glad you enjoyed the pics! The giant Mr. Handy statue is pretty awesome
Lopov: The backpacks are part of a mod I added them for immersion and RP purposes. I do love the crash site pic. It kinda shows the awe I had myself upon discovering it.
So... I gave Piper a makeover! For shallow reasons! Matty is about 24, and vanilla Piper is looking around mid thirties IMO. I decided to give her a younger look so it's believable for me that Matty would fall for her. He calls her beautiful a lot... and now I think she is! Haha. please don't judge me
A lovely couple, they look like models.
Matty has a cool looking jacket.
Yeah, they do look good together. May they live long and prosper
Oh well, might as well post some more!
The last pic I saw on Reddit. He built it especially for the coming Wasteland Workshop battles.
The name is Bond, Chalice Bond... She is looking very dapper in her tuxedo.
The interiors look neat. More homey than in FO3 or New Vegas.
Given those guns, I think Sergeant Bash might be better named Sergeant Shred!
Wolf, Chalice is a good looking character and your game looks great!
http://i.imgur.com/pp01vVb.png out for adventure.
I think there is a separate topic just for Fallout 4 screenshots.
Alice makes me wish I was in Wonderland...
I love the hood and the bandanna face mask!
Alice collects powered armor! The red, white, and blue one looks the coolest.
SubRosa is right and I've taken the liberty of moving both hazmick's screenshot post and SubRosa's comment here to the FO4 screenshot thread.
Great shots of Alice adventuring in what used to be Boston!
Thanks Acadian. I was looking for this thread, but I obviously missed it.
Some more pics from me!
G'day, Wolf! Your game and character look great!
Greetings Blondie! I like her armor. Is that a form of combat armor?
Neat how she has the Far Harbor and Workshop posters. Is that from a mod, or are they part of the vanilla game?
Neat, its a giant bobblehead!
Yes, the combat armor is quite good in this game.
Different stat layers can be added, like leaded to help with radiation protection, pocketed to help with carrying capacity, boiled to help with durability and general protection, etc. Each layer of underclothing can also be changed and ballistic weave can be added to that to help with the overall armor rating.
Remember those days when you first saw the cool duster or longcoat in FO3 and then realized that you had to fix the DR with mods? Well the great thing in this game is that ballistic weave comes in a variety of levels to help with that.
With the Far Harbor things I am pretty sure those ones come from a new mod I added. The reason I am not 100% is that Beth also just released new content to the workshop with posters that can now be lit up with background light. I haven't tried that yet.
The Bobblehead stature is another mod. It removes the Minutemen stature and puts up Pipboy instead.
Sorry about re-writing American history there! Us Aussies do have a bad habit of playing around with the past.
The game also has new weapon racks, stands and mannequins.
I almost fell off my chair last week. Far Harbor has a quest called 'Acadian's Ideals.'
I kept expecting a jet to give a low pass-over and then roar off into the stratosphere.
Some more pics-
Leaving home is a great shot. I lover her yellowish outfit.
Bleak Boston reminds me of the NW Seneca Station from FO3 with Arefu on the highway to the left.
That fog's even thicker than the one in Cyrodiil.
I like Chalice's sunglasses. Is Ada an android?
Wow, she has a red PipBoy.
Wonderful shots, Wolf. Of course the last one - you know, the one with the blond ponytail. . . .
Love the yellow outfit in the first pic. Is that a Laser RCW, or an actual Tommy Gun?
Bleak Boston looks pretty hazy. Hey, I can see the Washington Monument from here!
Vivid Weathers seemed to turn the weather most un-vivid...
Ada looks like HK-47!
Cool ponytail in the last pic, as Chalice looks on the wreckage of The Orca.
Lopov- Ada is a 100% old USA robot, through and through. She is a really cool companion that was added by the Automatron DLC. Ada hangs back and gives interesting robotic comments and you can upgrade many parts onto her frame. My science level is still too low but she does have a neat flamethrower on one arm.
Acadian- Thanks! I have thrown another Buffy pic just for you!
SubRosa- The gun is just a 10mm sub machine gun but has the drum magazine attachment that makes it look very Tommy! Ada does look like HK-47!! I have only just noticed that after you wrote that.
Some more pics-
The vivid weather mod is slowly changing the game world via the plug ins I use. It is now a cross between Point Lookout and Skyrim!
Hey, weather in a Fallout game! That's what I hope to see when I start modding FO3 this summer. So you're saying the weather is seasonal?
Wow, look at the 'Stay at Home" pic. I love the iron gate on her right.
Chalice turning to the dark side ‚Äď oh, that can‚Äôt be good!
Hee! Buffy’s evil twin sure has the right hairstyle.
I don’t know about Point Lookout, but the last series of shots sure does look like the area of northern Skyrim around Morthal.
The dark side is stronger! But the light side is stickier!
She does have Buffy's ponytail!
The stay at home pic looks really bleak. In fact, the misty pics all look like Silent Hill to me.
Hey, I didn't know about this thread! Thanks, Winter Wolf; if you hadn't mentioned it I'd have never realized we even had a thread for FO4!
I've got some catching up to do!
Thanks folks! I really appreciate the feedback.
Renee- Vivid Weathers is a weather mod from our wonderful PC community. The main mod just loads in an even chance of having all the weathers in the game. The modder has also given us season plug-ins that are simply autumn, winter, spring and summer. He has also made a Silent Hill plug-in that is just fog, lol.
Obviously you just load one season at a time (or just use the lowest one on your mod order) and it blocks the weather that does not suit that season. Autumn is rainy, thunder and fog, Winter is rad storms, light and heavy snow, Spring is slightly clearer weather and Summer is lovely blue skies with some thunder.
Autumn is more like England weather than north-east USA, but I guess he did that so that it feels different to the spring.
I plan to use "Spring in the Commonwealth," a mod that adds new grass growth to simulate the return of warm weather after I have finished with winter. All in all these mods are really neat.
Acadian- Thanks for the Buffy approval. I started out Chalice as a scientist type and somehow she is ending up like Buffy's twin. Not that that is a bad thing, of course!
I agree with your comment on Morthal. That area from Morthal to Windstad Manor was my favorite area of Skyrim. I must love bleak weather.
SubRosa- Thanks for another Buffy tick of approval. Our little bow girl does have one lovely pony-tail. Chalice is following in her wake!
The fog does look very Silent Hill. There was one point last week where I came out of a building after using the campsite mod overnight and discovered a massive pea soup had descended over the whole Commonwealth. And I mean pea soup. It was so thick that I had to look down just to see the road I was trying to follow. It was amazing!!! All I needed was the radio static to alert me of enemies.
mALX- Thank you so much!!!!!
It is hard to say much about the weather mod other than it really is fantastic. When you see it running the mist and fog look heaps better than the screen pic can really do justice. Every day is just rain, mist, fog and now little snow leading into heavy snow and radioactive storms. I love the oppressive heavy feel of each day in the Commonwealth and enjoy hunting in the ruins of Boston.
The horrible weather also has the side bonus of causing me to get lost when I am traveling- as every place now looks so different, lol. Bethesda's Fallout has very, very boring weather and has little variety in cloud features, the game now has so many cloud layers I have lost count.
I do not want to say much about Chalice's dark side as it is related to the way some of the various quest lines are playing out. My character is really at the crossroads though- which way, light side or dark??
Acadian's Quest has yet to play out. I must go back to Far Harbor and get some more of that done.
I will post some more Fallout pics next weekend.
Chalice looks great in a black longcoat, aviator sunglasses and red PipBoy - she looks to represent!
How evil is it possible to be in FO4?
The misty pics really remind me of Point Lookout too.
Wow, what a great-looking gas mask - does it serve any purpose or it's purely cosmetic?
Wow, hazmick, she looks almost swallowed up in that armor!
Sweet power armor!!
Is that the mod which is a 700MB download? I am pretty sure that none of us on Xbox One have the room left for that download.
I love the grass and foliage. It looks the opposite of my game, lol. That is the really awesome part of the modding community, tailoring to our needs!
Grey Tortoise! Nice that the old billboards continue in FO4.
Yikes! Misstep is enough to make you dizzy!
Nice evening in Time to head home. Is that snow falling?
I think the Red Sun pic mALX is referring to is just a sunset pic I took with my modded FO3 weather, which I made more colorful than the vanilla game.
Wow, the gore level is high! Looks like Persephone disarmed that guy. That is a neat handgun. Is it a Desert Eagle?
It seems odd to see the Brotherhood in Vertibirds, but I am sure they captured a lot of them from the Enclave after the events of Broken Steel.
That is a long way down! But at least there is a mattress at the bottom!
Off the map looks the same as in any Beth game. Still, I like that you can actually go off the map. Most games very strictly curtail where you can move to.
If it was a little redder, I would say that planet was Mars!
It is cool to see Boston in the distance. I can even make out the Brotherhood's giant floating
Heading home looks the best. I love the purple sky and the ominous red splash along the horizon.
RadStorms look great though I doubt they feel the same.
Oh no, why did Matlock have to die?
I bet it must be fun bringing down vertibirds!
While the USA suffered heavily during the Great War, it looks like Canada's been through much worse, there's literally absolutely NOTHING left.
Love the snow and red sunset in the final pic.
Acadian- Yes, the billboards are still really neat in Fallout. I always read each one as I come across it. They always seem charming and fun. The snow effect was coming down in that last pic. Unfortunately Beth decided to leave out the nice snow animation from Skyrim, just how silly is that? Last winter I checked it did snow in Boston...
SubRosa- The handgun is indeed the Desert Eagle. The person who made the mod put the best ever sound to it. The gun booms like a Dirty Harry gun and has echoed in my sleep after many long-night gaming sessions. When you start playing the PC version make sure you try it out.
mALX- I have yet to try that test area under the Wizard's Tower plug-in. I must boot up Oblivion and give that a go. It is amazing just how many things you folk know about Beth games. I am still learning!
The beds in FO4 are the same as the last game. I am pretty sure that ownership does not change to you. But with so many settlements and campsite mods there is always a place to sleep so it doesn't really matter.
Lopov- Matlock! I love it. He
does did look like him.
Vertibirds are a strange one in this game. Yes, they look great when they are attacking from the sky but they always have really low health. Most times they just spin in the sky with Brotherhood people falling out the side before crashing landing right on top of the character. A mod can be used to increase their health.
Okay, a few things are changed up this week. I am now using the Spring plug-in for Vivid Weathers and the Spring in the Commonwealth grass mod. I am also testing the Darker Nights mod to see whether I like it better. Still early days as I only downloaded it yesterday.
There is now grass everywhere and it gives the Commonwealth a very different look.
Is it http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10011? I just downloaded it to save for later. Along with a http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16802.
Springtime for Hitler, and Germany... I see our old friend the Chinese Assault Rifle makes a reappearance in FO4.
The waterfront looks really neat in the Warmer pic. What is that thing that looks like the Washington Monument in the background?
Raider sunset would look really nice. If not for the suspended body!
A vaultgirl bobblehead! I love it!
The swamps look pretty barren, like it's winter.
Someone has been having too much fun with the mannequins...
What a great plug! Is that from a mod you made? Or can you spell out anything with the neon lights?
Commonwealth looks much more alive with new mods you're using but also less creepy because of better visibility.
Looks like raiders aren't hanged only in Capital & Mojave Wasteland. Is it possible to board that zeppelin?
It's the Big Guns Bobblehead - a girl edition. Do Boobleheads change according to the PC's gender?
Good to see that Chorrol survived the Great War!
I believe the zeppelin is the Brotherhood of Steel's base, which you do board if you join/ally with them. I have seen vids with people on it.
I think the vault girl bobbleheads are a mod.
Wolf, your game looks great, but I wouldn‚Äôt know what FO4 is supposed to look like anyway. The Raider sunset looks fabulous ‚Äď and eerie. Chalice found a bobblegirl ‚Äď did it join the others in her ChorrolCollection? Oh, I have seen FO4 dogs before and they look incredible. A mannequin orgy!
Whoa, vertibird attack! Rad storms look gloomy as hell.
Warmer weather / springtime does look prettier for sure. I am glad it's not too much like "our" springs here in this century. I like that there is a difference.
Whoa, how did you get the Chorrol.com pic?
SubRosa- Yes, that is the Desert Eagle! You will love it. I recommend all the gun mods from that author except the M1911. It just feels too small in the hand. I also like that Brahmin skin you found. It looks sweet!
The Washington Monument type building is Bunker Hill. It is a trader post that you can drop into when you decide to take a break. I spend a lot of time either going to or from there.
The game has heaps of neon signs, light boxes, writing etc, and you can spend half the game just playing with the settlement features. I have rarely touched it but thought a Chorrol sign would be neat!
Lopov- Yes, the Commonwealth feels so different now that winter has left. I really love the grass mod and give it a thumbs up. As SubRosa has said, the zeppelin is the home base of the Brotherhood of Steel. I have boarded it only a few times just to confirm that they are still pompous fools. Chalice is mainly working for the Railroad and testing the water with the Institute. She is planing to make life very hard for the Brotherhood!
The bobbleheads are only male in the Bethesda game. I grabbed the mod as soon as I saw it. It just makes more sense for a female character to care about the female ones. Besides, they do look like mini versions of Chalice.
Acadian- Thanks! Do not worry about not having played the game. Beth games are Beth games. Just a few more explosions here. Chalice is not as precise as Buffy. I did add the Bobble to the stand collection, I think I have about 9 or 10 out of the 20 now.
Renee- The rad storms are sensational with Vivid Weathers. I hear that the other mod, True Storms, will be coming out soon on Xbox. I cannot wait to test that. The game has really cool neon signs and letters and you can write over all the walls of your settlements if you choose!
mALX- Thanks! I am glad that you are enjoying the Fallout journey towards summer!
I have a spare weekend this weekend so will post some more pics!
Darker Nights mod is really neat. The dark is dark so you need to use either your pipboy light or a flashlight when you explore. The pics probably do not do it credit, but in game it is spot on for what I was looking for. Each light, whether a settlement or drink machine becomes a beacon of shelter in the claustrophobic dark.
Those nights are really dark, I wouldn't like a ghoul creeping on me from utter darkness.
Chalice is (more dangerous than) an alpha deathclaw.
Nice house but if it rains, it'll wake you up when sleeping.
How many homes can you have in FO4?
Heh, my theory on why Beth doesn't make their vanilla nights overly dark is that doing so hides the great graphics. Those dark nights are neat, but the day shots really show all the graphic goodness. Are the windows in game see-through to outside?
That is really dark and creepy. I wouldn't like playing with it that dark though. Besides my eyes not being as young as they used to be (eyestrain), I like seeing the game I am playing. I always think that when developers hide their games in fog (like Morrowind) or darkness (Doom 3), they must be ashamed of their game, since they don't want me to see it.
That is an amazing Sanctuary sunset!
Uh oh, Alpha Deathclaw, and is that just a 10mm Pistol that Chalice has!
Oh I guess it is an Explodo-Deathclaw Pistol!
It looks like the end of Jaws!
This must be a great game for Red Sox fans! I wonder how New Yorkers feel about it?
It's back to Casa Chorrol! Neat picture of the ballpark on the wall.
Couple of quick shots of http://i.imgur.com/Y7obUDa.png and http://i.imgur.com/rGRcHvi.png
She and Cait live at Red Rocket Truck Stop. I really need to get some screenies of it.
Post Nuka World Alice looks like she belongs in Canterbury Commons!
Nice armor there. I love the purple animal wrapped around her leg. I have yet to download Nuka yet so I have no idea what that is. Lol.
Do post some pics of Red Rocket. Who many levels up have you built the settlement? Do you have a gated fence around the perimeter?
I am too busy playing Witcher 3 at the moment but want to get back to FO4.
I think she needs to change her name to Ganesha!
And she has Warhammer armor!
Wow, Preston looks amazingly good. In fact your whole game looks great. I've never touched a Fallout but it is fun to see the games of those who do.
Oh, and welcome again to Chorrol!
Thanks! It's only vanilla on PS4, but it's a beautiful game regardless. I have no qualms about the graphics in Fallout 4.
http://i.imgur.com/KOdJm7V.jpg, my new PC and first FO4 story.
Evelyn is looking good. She reminds me of the reporter? I don't have FO4 yet, so I forget her name.
View from Corvega is stunning! Wow! Looks like you captured the entire town.
Lovely family pic. Despite its horrid consequences, the explosion in the background makes for the great lightning.
It's Thing from the Addams family!
Evelyn looks great, I especially love her beret.
http://i.imgur.com/ASNWEYW.jpg, my Glargg character I rolled to get to know Fallout 4 with. Until I work up a more permanent character.
Howdy, Shi. Looking good, are we? Shi looks seasoned like she's seen her share of adventures. If Shi were in TES, she'd be a Redguard, wouldn't Shi?
mALX: F4 is on sale right now. It was only $50 for the game + all DLCs. I am just hoping there won't be any more patches, seeing that it has been out just over a year now.
Lopov: Shi is technically Asian. Though I gave her a bronzed skin and dyed hair. Asians do look better in this game than any other Beth game.
Time to give Shi a break, now that I have a sense of what the gameplay is like and I have had time to mod up some.
Awesome pics! That bomb scene happens so quick so it is really neat to see the 'paused' version.
Hecate looks sweet. Dark ponytail and nice slim physique. And those eyes....wow!
And such a different look in that last one all kitted up! Look out wasteland!
Welcome home indeed, Hecate.
She's still as pretty as in the Mojave. Her black armor in the final pic reminds me of Chinese Stealth Armor. Is that a dead Ghoul behind her or a skeleton in torn clothes?
It's the mushroom cloud! You plan on doing the MQ with Hecate?
With Shi having paved the way, it is nice to welcome Hecate to FO4. She looks fabulicious and certainly resembles her prior incarnation. Your game/graphics and especially the sky look wonderful - although I understand from your reviews that mods play a role in that.
Love the ponytail (of course) and she does indeed look very sleek and ready for business in that last shot.
You can edit both the male and female faces. I read somewhere that your son ends up looking like a cross between the two of you, so I think you are expected to do them both. You can change the sex of the person you are editing at any time. Just be sure you are editing the one you want to play when you exit the character creation, as that is the one you end up with.
Lopov: As far as I can tell F4 does not have Recon Armor. Or much black armor at all. Most things seem to be brown. So I had to hunt a little for mods to find something that looked similar to her old black recon armor.
Winter Wolf: It was kind of nice to actually see the Pre-War world for a bit. I tried running around a bit to look everything over, but when I ran past the army truck that is blocking the road out of Sanctuary Hills, the bomb went off and killed me. I think it is set to do that if you try to leave the area.
her eyes are from http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7320
Lopov: Her armor is from the http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13572
That is a pre-war skeleton behind her. There are a lot of them outside the vault entrance.
I think I will do the MQ with Hecate. I usually do it with her. I guess she is my *official* character that way.
Acadian: I did not really change the daytime sky much at all, except to disable to godray effect. I think the vanilla daytime sky looks really good. The night sky is the most different, with a new moon and star field.
I could not find her signature ponytail in any mods. Thankfully Ponytail Hairstyles has migrated from Skyrim to the Commonwealth, with a lot more hair styles.
mALX: I used http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/193, which replaces the first female preset. Then I tweaked that for about twenty minutes. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12631/ made it a lot easier.
Not just Hecate, but bloatflies made it to Fallout 4 as well! And just like in previous games, they don't net you lots of XP.
Are you using vanilla skies or some mod? From what I see, there isn't any "tint" over the wasteland like it is in FO3 (green) and FNV (yellow). That's nice.
Guns & coffee & Hecate - deadly combo.
There's a pot and a chef's hat, if it weren't for Hecate's modern armor, I'd think it's Skyrim.
Nice to see our four-legged friends survive any cataclysmic event.
What a wild billboard!
Is that a pipgirl she’s got on?
Love the Starbuckshot coffee sticker.
Is that summon Jerric stew she’s making?
Aww, so nice there are cats and dogs ‚Äď both look great.
Lopov- Yeah, the sky is a real vivid blue in this game which is a nice change from the recent Fallout games. It does make sense as it is 200+ years since the bombs, and more importantly- few businessmen to pollute the atmosphere with factories and vehicles.
Surprising though- I do not like the look in FO4. I really hate the over-the-top cartoon look that the bright blue baby sky gives when it contrasts with the dead ground. Hence I use 'Spring in the Commonwealth' to fix the ground or a weather mod to add more variety to the sky.
SubRosa- Love the chef's hat! Just make sure the wildlife doesn't steal any rat stew from your plate.
Cooking is really neat and is much better than Skyrim (where it achieved little). Add some tea mods!
Hectate almost looks like that lady on Friends,. Um......... Courtney Cox., in that first set of pictures. But then after she gets her outfit, she is definitely Hectate.
She looks as though she'll fit right in with Boston nightlife, hee hee.
Lopov: The Bloatflies are more dangerous in F4 than the other games. The barbs they shoot at you are now radioactive! They also have Bloodbags now too, giant radioactive mosquitoes.
My daytime skies are pure vanilla. I think the clouds and lighting in the day sky is far better than previous Beth games. I am using mods for my night sky though, a larger moon, new moon textures, and a new star/galaxy field. The weather system is a big improvement too. The rain is the best of any Beth game. And it doesn't fall though solid objects! The ground even looks slick and wet when it rains. Best of all when it is cloudy or rainy, all the color in the world is not desaturated like in Skyrim. It is just cloudy, but if you are wearing a red bandanna it is still just as red, not grey.
I think there is actually a slight baby blue tint to F4, but I could be wrong. It does look much better than the other games, where Beth and Obsidian put their annoying green or yellow tints on everything. It looks more like a real world. In fact, I am often reminded of walking through the woods near my home in November.
Acadian: It is still a Pipboy, but I am working on that!
I thought the Starbucks sticker was a fun little surprise. That is one of the things I love about modded items. You never know what people are going to do with them. Plus of course, they are often higher quality than the vanilla items.
I think it is Mole Rat Chunks that Hecate was making. So that probably is a Summon Jerric potion!
Winter Wolf: I like F4 sky and weather much better than the previous games. It looks much more real and believable. I think there should be much more life and vegetation on the ground to go with it. 210 years is plenty of time for new growth to have replaced all those dead trees, just like all the land around Chernobyl and Hiroshima.
The first time I tried using that cooking station in Sanctuary Hills a radroach ran out of the nearby house and attacked me right in the middle of the cooking animation! It drove me nuts, because I could not get out of cooking mode until after it had bit me half a dozen times!
Renee: Hecate is mostly inspired by Megan Fox. But the face creation in F04 is not very good. Not nearly as good as Skyrim's. It would not let me shape her jaw the way I wanted to. And the glasses in the game and mods suck balls. But she came out well enough.
Hecate is cutting her own swath across Boston.
Big gurl powered bionic armor!
That is so neat how the barrels on her minigun are smokin’ red hot.
That dragon thing is one ugly mothe- er, monster (inspired by Arnold’s line in The Predator).
Hecate took down that dragon with nary a shout.
Wow! That is such an epic pic with the Deathclaw right behind the Raider. I have only had a glimpse of that from afar as I moved up the street. I love that you can show that close up pic on PC.
Smoking hot barrels on that mini-gun!
Isn't it neat that the Power Armor shows missing parts where the frame is? I think that was a neat touch that Beth added to this game.
Concord re-spawns both indoor and outdoor so you can go back and wipe the Raiders out wherever the urge hits! Unfortunately I haven't seen the Deathclaw come back, which console command can probably fix anyway!
What are your thoughts on Dogmeat? Do you see yourself using him much?
Oh, and what makes you think the Deathclaw is male? Aren't women more cranky when they wake up?
And just a tip. If you go too far down the Minuteman Quest you start to generate attacks on your settlements when you are away in the field. 'Your base is under attack will appear on the HUD' when you least need it.
For that reason I stopped doing that quest line once I got the group back to Sanctuary, and have not had one attack in 250+ hours.
Oblivion Gates, Dragon attacks, Vampire attacks, Feral Werewolves- Thank you Beth but I would not prefer to not have that in this game.
Hecate looks like some boss character from Wolfenstein 3D game wearing that super duper power armor. Armor itself looks like some enterable 'robot' to me. I like its rusty looks, though. So you can wear PA without training?
Deathclaws look different, they still look ferocious but since I'm used to their brownish look from past games, the ones in FO4 remind me more of some Jurrassic park creatures.
I really do like raider armor and helmets, though. Knowing that it's possible to combine them all, I bet one can come up with interesting outfits. I also like Garvey's outfit, assuming that he's the African-American in the pic.
Gaah...giant bloodbag mosquitos yuck!
As awesome as power armor is, I love Hecty in her custom-made body suit.
Renee- Both Fallout 4 and Skyrim SE do not have rain-snow under shelter, so the latest engine they are using has sorted out the problem. In Skyrim you can now walk around a corner of a building on the lee side and be sheltered from the wind and snow (none appearing on the screen). Once you head around the other corner the snow appears once again. It is fantastic!
Lopov- I agree with your comments on the appearance of creatures. One thing that has gone backwards (IMO) is that the creatures look more 'Jurassic' and less scary. I still remember running from the Giant Raddies, Albinos, Deathclaws and Yao Guai with my heart pounding. I never feel that in FO4. Perhaps it is the coloring and art design.
The creatures have a plastic look to me. Like a dinosaur toy would. I don't know if it is something in the base textures, or maybe a lack of bump mapping, or the specular mapping, or some combination of the three.
Acadian: The powered armor was fun. It was really underwhelming in FO3 and NV. But they really get it right in F4. It is like being superhuman. Bullets just bounce off, and you can actually fight hand to hand with the Deathclaw. In fact, you have to.
I thought it was neat the minigun barrels turned red with heat as well. Until the blasted thing overheated on me and would not fire. Something that happens all to quickly. It is really not a very good weapon, since it cannot sustain its fire for very long. I spent as much time bashing the Deathclaw with the minigun as I did shooting it.
There may not have been a shout, but I guarantee there was plenty of yelling and cursing! I do love the Deathclaws in the FO universe. They are such awesome monsters.
Winter Wolf: That Deathclaw threw a truck at me! I am not sure if it was scripted, or if they will do that now with handy vehicles.
I am liking the Powered Armor. Though it is not entirely Hecate's personal cup of tea. I like how you can modify it, and even change the paint. The same with all the armor and weapons.
I kept Dogmeat for a little while. But I kept accidentally commanding him to do things just because he was in front of my mouse cursor that it drove me nuts. So just like in FO3, I eventually left him at home to watch the house. Or in this case at Sanctuary Hills to watch the neighborhood.
Well, I already went too far in the Minuteman quest! Hecate just finished up helping out a settlement that was being menaced by a Raider band in the Corvega Factory. That was a very cool place! The outside was paradise for a sniper like Hecate, and the inside had plenty of places to sneak around at get headshots upon unsuspecting Raiders.
Lopov: It has been ages since Wolfenstein 3D! Didn't that have Hitler in a suit of powered armor at the end?
There is a lot more options when it comes to armor in F4, which I am still getting used to. First all clothing and armor comes in two layers. There is the base layer, which is your basic outfit and might not be armored at all. Then there is an armor layer that goes over that. The armor layer is not one piece, but rather a separate piece for each arm and leg, plus the torso, and then the head. So you have a total of 7 articles of clothing/armor that you can mix and match however you like.
Renee: The giant skeeters creeped me out at first too. But at least they are not too hard to kill. The 10mm Pistol you start with will take care of them.
I prefer Hecate in the bodysuit. And so does she. She's more the sneaky type, than the clomping around making a lot of noise type.
Not sure about that Deathclaw. Perhaps I was too busy laying the smackdown with the mini gun to notice that he was throwing around vehicles. I haven't noticed others do that either. Mostly they just pop up out of the ground.
Great to hear you had fun inside Corvega. That is actually one place that I have never been inside, despite walking past it around 100 times. Lol. I decided to leave one part of the game unexplored until the end. A treasure reward for the finally.
Sweet moon and elevated view from up there!
http://starsmedia.ign.com/stars/image/article/105/1059412/big-boss-of-the-day-wolfenstein-3-ds-mecha-hitler-20100108090106653-000.jpgis indeed one of the bosses in Wolftenstein 3D.
I hope that whatever was in the safe, was at least worth being killed over.
Is the entire area you see in Boston Skyline shot, like those tall skyscrapers, actually reachable or it's like in FO3, where a bunch of distant buildings can't be reached?
Acadian's going to love highway signs.
The cutest Fallout robot returns.
Outstanding screenies, Sub! I love the weapon swung over her back. It kills me that weapons just vanish GTA style in vanilla.
Those miniguns can be problematic. Ours (GAU-2B) were mounted in helicopters which helped carry the, well, helicopter load of ammo required. One trigger put our 2K rounds/min; both triggers put out 4K rounds per min. Every 5th round was a tracer so it was literally a stream of orange tracer flame. And keeping the 6 barrels from overheating required discipline.
I love all the skyline pics, although I confess that Hecate’s adorable behind steals the show in all of them.
Hecate’s wearing a body condom to protect herself!
As Lopov predicted, I love the billboard signs!
Yay, Robbie the Robot!
Winter Wolf: The Deathclaw may not have purposely thrown the truck. I think it might have run into it, and sent the truck flying. The physics in Bethesda games being Havok and all!
Corvega was very cool. Way more interesting in layout than the Corvega plant in FO3, that is for sure!
Lopov: I thought I remembered Hitler! It has been ages since I have seen Wolfenstein 3d.
I don't think there was anything very interesting in the safe those two people killed themselves over. But I don't remember anymore.
I think you can reach all those skyscrapers on the horizon. I don't know if you can go inside them all however. It will probably be a while before I get there.
Hecate definitely believes in safety. Her helmet gives her a big boost to Rad Resistance, so she always puts in on when the radiation detector starts crackling.
I had my first shootout with a Protectron today. They are a lot more powerful than in FO3! I had to empty a full magazine from Hecate's sniper rifle into one to put it down. They are not to be trifled with.
Cain: I thought it was really weird that Bethesda started making the weapons disappear whenever they are holstered. They have never done that before. I like seeing it in the holster on my characters back so I remember what weapon I have selected. Plus it just looks better. I got lucky that my mod-added Mk14 had a patch made for the Visible Weapons mod.
Acadian: I took those highway signs with you in mind. It is nice seeing some new ones now.
Hecate is making sure to protect herself, in every way!
You had me worried there, SubRosa!
First you post a pic of a cat beside the man and then you post 'Hecate aims to serve up a few more...'
I thought- oh no, there goes the wildlife. And after Beth has taken years to add these things into the game. And knowing that you like cats, surely not!
I was relieved to find out that Hecate was adding to her head-shot count from FO3 instead (as per the sign).
Loved the scope pic. Damn that looks nasty.
SubRosa - you know I like those signs!
Aww, something prevented the postie from making their appointed rounds.
A pink flamingo on a stick! How iconic!
Radiation Storm looks like a Persephonic Paradise. . . albeit probably tough for Hecate.
Now serving headshots. Hurry for the two for one Hecate special!
Hello and Goodbye are pulse-quickening, sobering and fabulous shots!
Oh no, they killed the courier again.
Radiation Storm shot looks great with the area behind Hecate reminding me of Point Lookout.
It's the Hello Kitty man with his own cat shelter.
I really like the view through the scope.
What a goodbye! His friend doesn't seem to react just yet, though.
Now she can officially put a new line on the Headshots sign.
mALX: I liked Hecate's "mom pants" They look comfortable.
I didn't know F4 had cats either. Apparently everyone else who has played the game decided to keep them a secret.
I was thinking that postman would not ring twice either! I guess only us old folks remember that movie.
Winter Wolf: At least I didn't put a cooking pic right after the cat picture! Thankfully the cats are friendly in this game, unlike the dogs.
Acadian: The signs are always fun in the Fallout games.
It wouldn't be 'Merica without a plastic flamingo in the yard!
Thankfully Hecate has plenty of anti-rad meds. And her suit gives her a lot of good radiation protection.
Lopov: That courier won't be rising from the grave...
So far most of the commonwealth looks like Point Lookout. It is different from the Capital Wasteland, which looks more like a desert. There is a lot more plantlife, and leafless trees. It looks like walking through the woods in November.
Hecate can put a lot more lines on the Headshot sign!
There's a new bus driver in town and she'll never let you down.
If a bus fails, though, she'll take you on a ride with her brand old bike.
Killed for a bottle of Nuka. Nice to see colored PipGirl for a change.
It's the Super Duper Mart, it's the activated Protectron, now if it were raiders instead of ghouls, I'd think Hecate was back in the Capital Wasteland.
Good to see Hecate doing as signs suggest to.
Oh no, what has the teddy done to deserve such a horrible fate?
Hecate Apartment - where raiders are put apart.
What a neat looking bus!
A Rocket gas station and motorbike all ready to go.
Nuka time is a fantastic shot of Hecate at work.
Robby the Robot again.
Yup, she’s got her hard hat on.
Aww. Free Teddy!
It is both sobering and fascinating to see the detritus of what was once Boston.
Lopov: Unfortunately the buses cannot be driven. It would be a lot of fun if you could drive one around!
The ghouls in the Super Duper Mart were a lot more threatening than the Raiders in the Capital Wasteland. Especially when they crawl in through the windows!
I am not sure what Teddy must have done! It is fun to see that the devs have not lost their sense of humor with putting teddy bears in questionable circumstances!
Winter Wolf: Too bad you cannot have a cat for a companion. Hecate might keep one around then.
Those ghouls were creepy! Especially when they accelerate to warp speed once they get near you. I am glad I had the Protectron walking point in there.
Acadian: Unlike in FO3, we can now go inside the buses, which is neat. Their interiors are not separate cells, like some mods make them in FO3 either. They are part of the exterior cell the bus is in. So you can see inside and out (and shoot in and out).
The Nuka billboard is added by the Vault Girl mod, which is a work in progress, but aims to replace all the Vault Boy images with the Vault Girl.
One thing F4 does well is show a truly wrecked and broken down world, even with all the bright colors. The city areas I have been in so far are much better done than those in FO3.
I'm so glad you're enjoying FO4!
Wow, that first shot of Hecate showcases what stunning looker she is! I mean besides being pretty darn deadly.
Oh, Synth Man really does have a C3PO deer in the headlights look, doesn't he. As you say, he foolishly brought a stick to a gunfight.
In the first pic I see that raiders are having same customs as in other parts of the wastes by hanging corpses high.
Ghouls look more threatening in FO4. And they have more clothes on as well.
The synth man looks like C-3PO from Star Wars.
Hecate is the lady in black.
Straight to his synthetic heart!
Acadian: The Synths are pretty cool looking in this game. At least that model of them in those pics, which I think is the earliest and simplest one.
I wish I could find better glasses for F4 Hecate. But sadly there are not very many glasses mods, and the ones out there are not very impressive.
Winter Wolf: That would be hilarious to drive over ghouls in a bus. To drive over anything in bus!
Lopov: At first I didn't see a lot of the usual Raider decorations around their camps in F4. I often had trouble telling who was a Raider and who was not. But as I traveled south and got closer to Boston, I started seeing the bodies on hooks, heads on spits, and so on. That makes it a lot easier to tell who to shoot from a distance!
The ghouls in F4 are a lot more dangerous. They have a tendency to hide in plain sight, and due to the game engine, they can pop out from seemingly out of nowhere, crawling out of holes in the ceiling, walls, or floor. They are slow and shambling at first, but once they get within about ten feet of you they suddenly go to light speed. It can be very hard to hit them when they are going that fast.
Renee: Are you saying Hecate is https://youtu.be/ww5GXbk58R0?
Robbie the Healer!
Heh, does the Subway bot make sandwiches? I looked at Hecate’s glasses in that shot and think they look pretty good.
Eeek! Hecate’s gonna take out that ghoul dude with what looks like Loviataresque eating habits.
Spaghetti ‚Äď as mALX would say. . . Ewwww!
Speaking of eating, it looks like that giant power suit has swallowed Hecate!
After she freezes a foe, can she shatter them?
Must wear protective gear ‚Äď Hecate‚Äôs got that amply covered.
Yes, Hecate is bad company, and I can't deny, 'til the day she dies.
I don't know why.... I always crack up when seeing bots in these games. Do they still say silly, pre-recorded messages?
Aw, what is that, power armor? Her head looks so small now!
Acadian: I don't think I would trust any of the Fallout robots to heal me! Especially not with the buzzsaws some of them have!
I think the Subway bot makes a .38 caliber pepperoni and salami, hold the full-metal jacket!
Sadly, you cannot break part frozen foes. But they do look really neat all iced up that way. Playing https://youtu.be/q_0usZs9s8A is a real possibility in this game.
Renee: The protrectrons still have the same hilarious dialogue as before. Like waring you that lethal force has been authorized.
That big black suit is indeed powered armor. You can change the color, but it is always that big in this game. It makes you feel like a titan when you walk around in it.
The city looks quite photorealistic in the first shot. Your game looks great.
As ever, I love all those signs - in this case, down in the street.
Hecate's sleek armor looks fabulous on her. Ever so much better than when that power armor swallows her.
Acadian: I really like the world in general in F4. The wilderness areas look both more tangled and overgrown, and are filled with the random detritus of the old world. Rusted out cars, a broken chimney from an otherwise disintegrated house, etc... The urban scapes are just breathtaking. They are filled with narrow alleys and maze like streets, loaded to the brim with the wreckage of a dead world.
I prefer the non-powered armor look too. The PA gives a sense of being ponderous, like a bull a china shop. That is definitely not Hecate's style. That is why she rarely dons it. I mostly just wanted to see how it would look with the new black paint style.
Renee: So far I have seen Lexington, Cambridge, and and a small slice of Boston proper. They are really amazing! This is what Bethesda does best: create worlds.
Lopov: I remember the first time I played Mass Effect 1. In the very first mission they drop you on the surface of a planet, and there were skyscrapers and a city in the background. I immediately wanted to go to them. But I could not. The whole thing was just a painting in the background, and you could only travel in a narrow, pre-defined path. After playing so many Bethesda games, that just drove me nuts.
The robot with the backpack is Ada. She teams up with you in the main quest of the Automatron dlc, which I got roped into after responding to a distress call.
I have not played a lot, but so far the legendary weapons and armor pieces I have found look exactly the same as the normal ones. I suspect the same is true of the uniques, but I am not sure.
I thought that Hecate looked great but I think I see what you mean now. She looks fabuloso! Makeovers are such fun!
Wow, Stan must have the world's best sandwich in that lunch of his for Hecate to guard it so diligently.
She looks AWESOME now !!!!! And her wardrobe is SO much better!!!!!
Subrosa, is that Chinese Stealth Armor Hecate is wearing?!
Acadian: I am getting better with the face creation, so I took another crack at Hecate with it.
I hope it's something tasty in that lunchbox, like Mutt Chops or Mole Rat Chunks!
mALX: Thanks. I wanted to get her face more heart-shaped.
TheCheshireKhajiit: Hecate ain't no Commie! She is wearing http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13572. It is one of the best modded armors I have found for F4.
Cain: Ada found me! I found a mod that allows you to play robots, and after teaming up with Ada I want to play an Assaultron.
Lopov: I have not run across any actual unique weapons yet. But I have run across Legendary items. Those all have some kind of special ability, like extra damage to super-mutants, etc... Those look exactly like the vanilla items.
The chin and jaw line are what I worked most on to soften up her appearance.
For a while I thought her one bewb had Gog written on it, and that it was an advert for Gog.com!
I love the night sky, thanks to the http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/19127 mod.
The tricorn hats are neat to see. I like Garvey's vest the most though, with all of its fancy golden stitching.
Unstoppable features not only a neat poster but it very nicely showcases Hecate’s new face.
Glad you mentioned sky in the Azura shot. Otherwise, I fear my eyes may not have gotten much beyond Hecate’s adorable little butt and thigh gap.
There is such a thing as a working cat? I thought all they were good for was supervising.
Oh my! Love the use your own brain sign!
I love the way she's crouched down in the grass in the mean Octo-bot shot. Grim Sky looks awesome!
It'd be cool if you found customes of the Unstoppables in the game.
Hecate should just pose her arms slightly differently and wear something more revealing and we'd not only have Azura's sky but Azura as well.
Sky looks unhealthy in the Grim sky shot, makes sense to wear a helmet.
New craftable item in FO4 - a cat!
Acadian: My cat helps me tremendously at home. No matter what I am doing, http://i.imgur.com/sSBPN1D.jpg, or http://i.imgur.com/HxhrIbL.jpg, or even http://i.imgur.com/Raf5NVe.jpg.
That use your brain sign made me laugh out loud. It is good to see people over at Bethesda still have a sense of humor.
Renee: That is the vanilla crouching with a rifle animation. The basic animations for many things look better than in FO3. The jumping animations are awesome!
Grim sky was taken during a radiation storm. They look really creepy with the yellow sky. I liked the noose hanging in the background.
Lopov: The guy with the Fedora and trenchcoat is probably in F4. I have seen the fedoras, and Tommyguns. I am not sure if I have run across a trenchcoat yet though.
I think you actually can craft a cat in F4, as well as dogs. I am not positive, but I think you can craft merchants, so why not?
What an explosive facial!
I recognized the behemoth by its trademarkish handcart. The rocket launcher (if that's what it is) looks almost bigger than Hecate.
Oh and there's a fire hydrant as well. Are they still as tough as in FO3? And are they unique?
That's the outcast PA.
Where's a pilot when you need him?
I stand corrected. Clearly Freya is a big help!
Ready, aim, fire fire fire ‚Äď literally!
Oh noes. Anything that wields a fire hydrant can’t be good. . . .
In the end. . . spoken like a true Highlander.
Lexington. Yup, there’s a shovel ready urban renewal project waiting for some love.
Cool. . . flying craft she is crouched on.
Lopov: That robot with the headshot is a new bot in F4 called an Assaultron. It is really deadly. That one became a suicider when its health got low, and it tried to rush Hecate and blow itself up.
That is a missile launcher that Hecate has in the Behemoth pics. So far that is the only Behemoth I have encountered. Thankfully! It look a lot of beating to put it down.
That is indeed Outcast paint. I did some looking for PA paint mods, and the only ones I really liked were that and another one that makes the military paint black.
Acadian: Lexington is really cool place. Filled with lots of alleys and high-rise buildings. You can literally go from rooftop to rooftop in some places. And there is a raised highway going over that. It is a sniper's playground.
Now we know that mirocu also made it to FO4, he just keeps pretending that he doesn't play FO games after FO3. He looks a bit different than in FO3, though.
The vertibird indeed landed in a bad spot. Can you enter it?
Hecate is clear - "I'm not buying anything!"
Great-looking outfit, love all of its numerous pockets. That outfit looks much better than any kind of PA IMO.
Synths wield big guns for their tiny hands.
Dontcha hate it when an aircraft tries to land on your roof?
Oh, Hecate does look happy! The red in her armor picks up so nicely on the blush to her cheeks.
Wow, she is imposing indeed with her big girl armor and big girl mini(?)gun!
De-Synthed reminded me of the movie Short Circuit. ‚ÄúNo disassemble, Stefanie!‚ÄĚ
Drive in is a very cool shot!
Lopov: I tried to get into that Vertibird on the raised highway, but had no luck. The cargo area was blocked off by debris.
Acadian: I guess maybe it is a biggiegun!
Any landing you can walk away from is a good one. But I don't think that Vertibird crew walked away...
Vigilant but not of Stendarr.
Even robots can't resist Hecate.
Jangles! I remember his billboards from FO3.
Wish the Lone Wanderer could drive such bike.
mirocu won't be cold this winter.
Commie skull spiders! Say that 10 times fast.
I see Hecate’s collection of power armor now included the Star Wars Imperial Trooper on Steroids version?
Plenty of spare parts there.
What a grin on Jangles! Like his shorts are too tight? But that really is an adorable pose for Hecate sitting on her heels next to him.
Blast Radius is apropos indeed!
Lone Wanderer is very cool. Love Hecate‚Äôs new face ‚Äď cheekbones, chin, coloring. And what a cool sign. FO4 signs seem quite different from FO3 but very neat in their own way.
Shhh. Not too close. I think mirocu is trying to impress Ladybird.
Lopov: Stendarr grant the super mutants mercy, because Hecate has none for them...
I remember Jangles from the Captain Cosmos billboards too. It is fun to see him in the world.
There are some motorcycle mods in FO3. I have not looked for any in F4 yet.
Acadian: Commie Skull Spiders? Sounds like a Punk band!
I think the Imperial Trooper armor has the special effect of attracting energy attacks!
Blast Radius is a handy game to find too. It has Nuclear Material in it. Seriously. It is one of the components you need to make things like glow sights for weapons.
Mirocu is maccing on former President Johnson's wife!
Yikes, jaws in boats and ships on buildings!
Ensign Hecate reporting to Captain Roboship ‚Äď and a bigger boat to boot!
Woot! An airship!
The titling and shot for ‚ÄėTo infinity and beyond!‚Äô reminds me ever so much of a scene from Back to the Future where Doc comes back in his flying, trash-eating Delorean.
Ouch, someone needs ship-flying lessons. This gives a whole new meaning to Naval Aviation.
What a funny set of pics and matching captions!
My first thought when I saw the flying ship, was the flying ship from Morrowind which had even less luck than USS Constitution.
But hey, at least it's now atop a higher building.
Is the ship still pilotable or it's now settled up there for good?
That's my favorite quest. I laughed my ass off when they crashed again.
Acadian: I think the creature on Quint's boat is a cross between a dolphin and a shark. I am glad I have never seen a live one, yet.
One of the fun things about the Constitution is that you can fire a broadside of her cannons. That is really neat!
I don't think they have a helmsman. That might be why they hit that building!
Lopov: Thankfully the Constitution is still better off than that Dwemer airship in Solstheim! Even considering its crew.
I think it is stuck on the second building for good. The questline ended there. I have not been able to get to the building where it is perched, so I am not sure if you can get to it again or not.
Cain: That was a really fun quest. I am glad to see that Bethesda still has a sense of humor. I think it is tied with the Cabot House for my favorite questline.
Hecate is pretty.
Wow, another Protectron. They definitely expanded their kinds from previous games.
Giddyup is back! I remember lots of those horses from Zeta.
That armor is so big, Hecate could pull her head in through the neck opening.
Who's that metal beast/robot? they're shooting in the last pic?
Hecate is pleased. - Because of the magnificent job Mom did with her face lift. Wow! I'm so impressed with your skill when it comes to facial structure.
Thar she blows ‚Äď Don‚Äôt want to tell you what I imagined on that title.
My Little Pony!
I will say that her heavy metal armor that looks like it could carry a whole squad inside is starting to grow on me.
I see Hecate has made it to Goodneighbor and the Third Rail. Did she make a line for Magnolia?
Awesome last pic. A mini gun at point blank range. Damn that looks nasty.
Cripes I've fallen so far behind! Xmas slowed me down on these forums!
It's interesting how in some pics (especially outdoors) they look virtually like photographs. In others, the game looks good, but not quite as photo-realistic.
Lopov: There are lots of different looks for the Protectrons in F4. So far I have seen Police, Fire, Medical, Construction, and a generic Office Helper type.
Hecate could almost pull her entire body through the neck opening in that armor!
That robot in the final pic was Ahab. He's a boss robot in a Rust Devil lair. The Rust Devils are a raider gang that specialize in using robots, and making armor out of robot parts. They are part of the Automatron main quest.
Acadian: It was worth restarting her game to redo her face. Unfortunately using the showlooksmenu during the game is not so easy, since you cannot get a good close up of your character's face. So the start of a new game or the vault exit is your best chance.
TBH, I am getting less enthusiastic about the powered armor. Hecate pulled that suit out of her collection to take on a big Rust Devil base. It was part of the Automatron main quest. But I left it at home for the final showdown with The Mechanist. I don't like how it changes the hud, or the feel of moving in it.
Winter Wolf: Is Magnolia the singer? Hecate did talk to her. It was part of a quest she was doing to find the Cabot sister. Hecate did try putting the moves on Maggie, but only got so far.
That is cool that you can get to the Constitution in her new berth. It might be a while before Hecate gets there.
I did some experimenting with a melee character a while back, and her modded armor came with a jet pack. The little bit I played of her was a lot of fun. It was like playing a Mandalorian.
Renee: The jumping does look a little goofy in F4 as well, but it is definitely different from the other Beth games. It reminds me of a Sam Raimi movie, especially his Spiderman ones.
Hecate did a little bit of settlement building around Sanctuary Hills (where you first come out of the Vault). There is actually a quest just about building up the settlement. She did not do much though, just put up a house, some beds for the settlers, then created power, water, and planted some crops. I still plant the crops. Whenever I find vegetables I plant them in the farm instead of using them for cooking. There is a ton of crops now! I recently starting building cats, and plan to get some dogs soon too.
Oh, Robospotter looks handy to have around indeed!
Ewww ‚Äď looks like Persephone‚Äôs leftovers.
Perched is a neat shot ‚Äď little sniper up in a safe perch with a commanding view.
Hey, if a ship can fly, why not a two-headed cow?
Love the under water ‚Äėsplorin‚Äô shots!
Yeah, checkers can sometimes be a slooww game.
Wow, did Hecate kill that big. . . thing behind her on the beach?
Hecate's first Khajiit!
Maybe Hecate discovered Loviatar's Commonwealth Laboratory.
Looks like the Brahmin was born up there.
So what says judge Hecate - who won the checkers?
Is there some sort of rebreather so you can actually explore that sunken ship?
What in Oblivion is that beast?
Yes, Magnolia is the singer. And the same thing happens to my girls- they never get anyway either.
Love the texture/coloring on the cat. It is a little tiger!
Jaws got on-board the boat again!
I have not taken any Aquagirl perk yet so I have not explored any underwater areas. I am leaving that for the endgame. But damn that looks awesome in your pics. A whole ship is down there!
Animals do love getting upstairs. I have seen robots and whole caravan pack animals standing on the top of my home at Sanctuary.
Acadian: You mean Loviatar's leftovers. Persephone has not eaten in four thousand years...
The cow might have flown up there. It has two heads, why not anti-grav hooves as well!
Hecate did kill that big ugly behind her on the beach. It is a Mirelurk Queen. A new critter in F4. It took a couple of grenades and half a magazine from her sniper rifle. But like the old saying goes: The bigger they are, the easier they are to hit.
Lopov: Hopefully the first of many khajiit. Hecate reset her trap to get more cats.
If you look really closely at that perched pic, you can see a bobblehead between her feet. That is why she went out there to start with. Once she was there, it was just begging for a picture.
I don't know if there is a rebreather yet or not in F4. But there is an Aquaboy/girl perk you can take. It not only gives you waterbreathing, but also makes you immune from swimming based radiation. Hecate took it so she could look around under the waves.
The big nasty on the beach is a http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Mirelurk_%28Fallout_4%29#Mirelurk_queen. She took a lot of killing to put down.
Winter Wolf: The cat texture is from a mod. I forget which one right now. But I think it was one that retextured a whole bunch of animals.
That is twice I have found that same scene from Jaws in F4. I wonder if there are more of them?
They put a lot of clutter and plants in the underwater areas. But there really is not much of any use. I only found a handful of containers with a few stimpacks in all my swimming. Plus one Power Armor frame in one of the inland lakes in the northern section of the map.
I have found Trashcan Carla's pack Brahimin in a Sanctuary house. It was too big to get out the door! It kept trying to get through though, until it finally teleported to the street.
Looks like the Commie sub was doing recon when the bombs fell. The captain got some nasty rad burns there.
I have not done that quest yet that involves the sub but have always been meaning to. Good thing Hecate put her helmet on before tinkering with that reactor!
Love the hat! Comrade Hecate. Lol.
I see that the Vault Tech guy has paid a visit to Sanctuary after all that time....his skin does not look any better.
Eeep ‚Äď sorry ‚Äėbout the Persephone/Loviatar mixup.
A submarine! Sounds like Hecate values individuals and their merit more than simply their association/cause. If that boat commander was a decent fellow, I’m glad she helped him get home. Looks like he may have gifted her with his hat?
Oh, nuclear reactors are easy ‚Äď they work just like warp cores. I think.
Commies are tough to bring down, that Captain is the best proof, look for how many years he's been around already. I see that he rewarded Hecate with his hat.
Who's that ghoul on Hecate's right in the last pic? He doesn't look like an ordinary farmer.
Just a look at my new toon and the small shack she has built.
Shazelle came from a good family but fell in with the raiders. She has lived a very hard past life and is hiding out in Sanctuary. She is someone who is tired and looking for a change, but those same people are bound to come calling again soon....
Is that in Sanctuary Hills? I was wondering how come it will let me demolish some buildings there to get down to just the foundation like in your first pic, but other buildings there I cannot get rid of?
That is a pretty fancy shack on the inside! Lots of Nuka. A float sounds great!
Those are some impressive sideburns above her bed!
Shaz is rocking a great mohawk! Looks like she has seen some mileage though... She looks like a Punk Mobster, is her last name Soprano?
Shazelle looks rough and tough and dangerous. Her scarred face fits well with her business suit she's wearing but it would go well with raider outfits as well, I guess. Nice wooden residence she has.
SubRosa- Yes, it is one of the foundations down next to the water on the east side of town. I have no idea why only some house can be scrapped and not others- perhaps the numerous quests are linked to the area so we have to keep them. Other than that I am not sure. Remember the robot who gives us a tour? Those houses he enters to combat the roaches still stay.
I have put a vault mod close to my house yesterday. It connects wonderfully well with the pathway and side door I happened to put there. It makes it feels like twin children!
In this pic http://i.imgur.com/Nxzib7w.png The balcony of my house can be seen over the umbrella. The blue door on the right is the vault mod.
Lopov- Thanks! I have plenty of outfits to chose from in the game. The great thing about FO4 is that ballistic weave can be placed on all items to boost their defense rating- so it is easy to match and mix. Shaz is going with the suit look to help blend back into society.
I am using a mod now that changes the difficulty setting. It gives x2 player damage across the board and lifts enemy damage to x2 at normal to x4 at very hard. I like playing Fallout with more realistic bullet damage and it makes me seek cover and chose my firefights. Do any PC gamers here play around with these things?
Shaz is doing early railroad at the moment- hoping to find out more about her missing son and what the synths are up to. She kicked butt in the firefights but missed seeing the mine when she was leaving the building.
Interesting looking sky, like it's painted - is that vanilla?
Wow, great hairstyle! She looks so tough, I know I already said that but the combination of her rugged face with business suit is perfect.
Teddies seem to suffer a lot in FO4, now this, and SubRosa already showed us a caged teddy.
LOL @ the caption of the last pic! Did Shaz overhear their plans for the future?
I just don't have the interest in going to all that trouble to muck with the workshop stuff. I mostly just want to explore, kill things, eat them, take their treasure... You know, good old-fashioned gaming!
Cool sunrise over Sanctuary Hills.
Love Shaz's folded over side buzz! Another great punk look.
A Face-Hugger has got that poor teddy bear!
That probably is what the staff meetings at Bethesda look like...
Like all the other games, I leave the Difficulty setting alone and never touch it.
If you like combat to be more lethal, you might try the Modern Firearms mod. It's not on the Nexus, but you can google it and find their page. It's guns are a lot more deadly than the vanilla ones.
Winter Wolf: The sub (The Yangtze) was doing more than recon. It was a ballistic sub, and it fired all of its strategic missiles at the start of the war, as it was ordered to. It might be the source of the nukes you see in the tutorial of the game. The Yangtze quest is a good one. It gives you the option of helping the captain or killing him. Helping him has it benefits, but for Hecate it was just the right thing to do.
Hecate did run into the Vault Salsesman in Goodneighbor, and talked him into moving to Sanctuary Hills.
Acadian: Hecate is a nice person, and she always prefers talking to shooting. So she could not kill the Chinese Captain out of revenge for a world that died over 200 years before. He was remorseful for what he had done, and that was more than enough for her. The least she could do was help him get back to his own home, after two centuries.
I am not sure that warp cores are so easy either!
Lopov: Hecate actually got her Commie Sub Hat from the First Mate. He was a feral farther down in the ship, along with the rest of the crew. There was a lot of zombie killing involved...
The ghoul in the trenchcoat is one of the first characters you meet in Fallout 4. He is the Vault Tec salesman who appears in the tutorial, and sells you your place in Vault 111. He tried getting into the Vault when the bombs fell, but they wouldn't let him in. So he had to survive the old-fashioned way, by becoming a ghoul! You can talk him into coming back to Sanctuary Hills (where you lived before the war, and start the game).
Wow! That shot with the bloody big Yao Guai is awesome! Love the color and texturing you have added. Or is that an albino one- I haven't encountered that one yet. Not sure how Hecate would be able to sneak with that guy beside you. His sniffles and bad breath would give you away.
Heacte did find the dragonborn! Now hiding out in a run down community- what a fall from grace!
Lopov- Yes, I am pretty sure the sunrise is vanilla. I do run the True Storms mod on Fallout at the moment. It changes up the rain, rad storms, audio etc but keeps default clear weather. The lighting and weather is stellar in FO4 and you will love it. Speaking of which when are you going to play it?
Back in my old days of playing D&D, there was sort of a mantra that got started: "I go into the room. I kill it. I eat it. I take its treasure. Next room..."
I hope your DM allowed toothpicks in their game.
I just saw this pic at Reddit. http://i.imgur.com/QHX3mdT.jpg
Mr Handy ‚Äď is that like a sex toy robot?
Hecate adventuring with a Russian Bear!
I love the irony of 'Welcome to Covenant.' + 'Restricted Area, Keep Out.'
As soon as I opened your last screen I was struck by the same thing ‚Äď there is the iconic Dragonborn Nord!
@SubRosa - is that a Commonwealth variant of a Yao Guai? It no longer looks like a rabid bear.
That guy is wearing banded iron armor. Looks like Hecate wasn't the only one who was frozen for a few hundred years.
@Winter Wolf - LoL @ Marcy Long, who is she actually?
My current laptop can't handle FO4 but because it works fine, I'm not going to buy a new one yet. I'm thinking of buying a new PC when next TES comes out if I will still have time to game at that point because we plan to expand our family in this or next year.
Acadian: Mr. Handy is actually a house-hold helper robot. So he might come with... attachments...
Turns out that most people would be better off staying away from Covenant, as the denizens have a habit of kidnapping, torturing, and murdering them.
Hecate liked the Dragonborn guy. His name is Honest Dan, and unfortunately he is only involved in one quest, and then vanishes from the world afterward. Maybe he had to go back to Skyrim to kill more dragons?
Lopov: I am using a mod that replaces the textures of several animals, the Yao-Guai is one of them. That is why it looks so healthy.
Bethesda clearly reused the iron armor for the base of that shirt the Dragonborn guy is wearing. He looks like he stepped right out of Skyrim.
I rolled a new toon to b87t teh game with. This time to try out melee weapons.
Flying Elektra! Looking good, are we?
Yuck, that bug was full of whatever was inside it.
The raider has a creepy mask.
Welcome, Elektra! Nice name and I see your skill in char gen - particularly with noses, cheeks, jawlines and chins remain evident. Very nice!
A jet pack would be just the ticket sometimes for a melee fighter to close with or even escape her foes.
Sever head, absorb power, move on. . . easy as killin' dragons.
Lopov: Flyiinnn Soooo Hiiiiighhhhh!
That was a Bloatfly that made such a dramatic explosion. Fallout 4 has much more graphical deaths, with big fountains of blood when you kill people.
The burlap hood thing is really creepy. It makes me think of the monster from an urban myth.
Acadian: I have actually had a lot of trouble with Elektra. It started with actually making two characters with the same basic face, Mochizuki Chiyomi and Elektra. I just changed the hair and skin tones between them. Elektra won out because the red hair worked better with the red and orange in her nano suit. In fact, I got her name because I was scrambling for what to call a red-haired ninja!
But it got worse from there. I had a lot of trouble with her nose. It was crooked. In some pics it is not noticeable, but in others taken from an angle it really jumped out. The problem is the new face gen, and the way you can reshape faces by dragging the parts with the left mouse button. Without realizing it, I must have pulled the bottom or top of her head and/or nose to one side, and bent it. I have spent hours working on it over and over. Since I couldn't see well enough to do it in the game, I had to go back to the Vault Exit where you get another chance to change you face. Then after updating it there I had to use the Face Ripper to copy that face to her current save. That in turn was made harder because Bethesda completely changed how they name and organize save files. I think I finally have it fixed, but keep staring at it, probably to the point of being overcritical.
The jet pack has been a lot of fun. It does not let you actually fly. More like make extended jumps. But it has allowed Elektra to jump (mostly) clear of a mine she stepped on. It is also great for leaping across radioactive rivers by making timed bursts of jet. Likewise it allows her to jump off really high buildings and cushion her fall with short bursts of jet. A few times she has even leaped across fatal drops to get at baddies across the gaps between roofs or scaffolds.
When I never thought I'd be buying the game, I didn't mind getting spoilers because I thought it was all I'd ever have of FO4. But a while back my son bought the game; so now I'm kind of hesitant to see the spoilers = want to experience it first time and then see the screens.
So for a temporary time, I won't be visiting this thread so I won't lose that virgin viewing plus, lol. Thanks for understanding all!
Managed to get FO4 for my PC over Christmas (took forever to get it running, but that's a whole other story), and here is my current lady:
She's basically my mod tester, but I'm still having a good bit of fun with her!
SubRosa - Sorry for the troubles getting happy with Elektra’s face. She does look good now though.
‚ÄúDoes this power armor make me look fat?‚ÄĚ
Moonrise ‚Äď where is the other moon. . . oh, nvm.
Disarmed ‚Äď no surprise there.
Wow, Night Light is spectacular!
Cain - Welcome to Elizabeth! Have fun!
Ninja'd deathclaw! Good-looking sword(s) - is it vanilla?
Staying true to the disarmed shots, I see.
Great night light screenie - Elektra advertising Corvega.
The outfit in the last pic looks like it's from the Mojave Wasteland.
Elizabeth has freckles - nice!
Always gotta have freckles.
mALX: Have fun exploring the Commonwealth!
Cain: Elizabeth is very cute with her freckles. Are those from a mod?
Acadian: The power armor does kind of make her look fat. But the funny thing is you can sneak just as well in it!
Lots of disarming going on in the Commonwealth, and people losing their heads...
Lopov: Elektra's swords are from http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7451. The two on her back are basically just a clothing item, since F4 does not show your sheathed weapons on your character.
The Corvega factory is one of the neatest places in the map, at least that I have found. It goes up and up almost forever, and gives you a really commanding view from the top. It is fun jumping from catwalk to catwalk up there, since missing means death.
The black vest is one I found early in the game. Elektra tends to wear it around the house. The hat is one of those tricorn types the Minutemen wear. It looks more like a cowboy hat because of the angle.
Renee: The Elektra is Pleased pic is from a dialog section. In F4 you can now see your character's face during conversations, and how they change expressions. That is really cool. As is the jetpack!
Love that last shot - Darth Raider probably regrets not having more armour on that power frame. Outpost Zimonja, right?
IIRC the quote on the poster appears during the G.O.A.T. in FO3.
Conversational, thoughtful - what's next? Lustful?
Elektra brought down the plane!
Raiders wear Power Armor too? They're definitely more educated in Commonwealth than in other wastelands.
Nope, freckles are in the vanilla character creation! Under 'markings', I believe.
hazmick: That was Outpost Zima! You have a good eye. Darth Raider has more armor on that frame to start with. Elektra destroyed all the pieces before killing him.
Lopov: The entire GOAT exam makes an appearance in F4. This time it is a test to detect androids, like the one from Bladerunner. But the questions are all exactly the same.
Just so long as the next expression is not constipated!
Elektra cannot take credit for crashing the plane. I think the Great War did that! But it is cool to see. I love how the wings are hollow, with a passenger section inside each.
Raiders do wear Power Armor in F4. There is no special training required. Just the suit and a fusion core to power it. It does take skills to soup it up though.
Cain: I don't remember the vanilla freckles looking that good. I have seen mods to replace the textures for the moles (the vanilla ones look atrocious), so I thought you might be using a texture replacer for the freckles as well.
Conversational and Thoughtful are some great close ups!
Put what in my where?
Warming up is simply a spectacular action shot!
Robbie the robot!
Report those dirty red commies!
I despise going to that satellite array. The muties always seem tougher in that spot.
Elektra looks like a desert warrior with a rocket launcher and a face cover.
Muties are still true to their gore piles, I see.
Not a good place to park your car.
Is that mirocu again on Elektra's right in the last pic?
Acadian: I like the close ups you get of your character during dialog. Bioware did the same thing in the era of the Kotor games, back when they were still a good game company.
Robbie is always fun to team up with.
Cain: The missile pics were from the water treatment plant. There is always quite a furball on the outside, since there is no way to get all the super mutants quietly. But I love the inside, where you have to gradually lower the water level by going through the plant.
Lopov: Her face cover comes in two varieties, one with the goggles down over the eyes, and the one she wears with the glasses pushed up over her face. She mainly only wears it because it adds more radiation resistance, and that area with the muties is filled with radioactive water.
The gore piles are even gorier in F4. But they still have lots of loot in them!
That is indeed Mirocu in the cemetery pic. I like the crows/ravens in F4. It is one thing they seem to have picked up from New Vegas.
I've fallen behind again. I love all the facial expressions she's got in Batch #2. Elektra is almost like a movie star. Maybe Hecate is the stunt double, but Elektra is the one who delivers most of the lines, with her pliable but toughgirl face.
SubRosa "necked" the bandit.
Zeta makes a comeback!
Careful that you don't fall, Elektra.
She turned a mutie into a gore pile.
Eyebot's eyes melted when he saw Elektra.
Wow, good job catching a screenie of the UFO! That thing moves FAST.
Great action shots! Elektra looks really good with her ninjuchukawatzu sword - especially up on that steel beam.
Renee: Movie star Elektra. I guess she would be played by Jennifer Garner.
The nano sword is a lot better than an ordinary Chinese sword. Plus Fallout 4 has a lot of perks that help damage, like Big Leagues, Ninja, and Lone Wanderer.
Lopov: Elektra got caught necking!
It looks like the UFO landed on the other side of the map, so it will be a while before Elektra can get there to investigate it.
Now we know where those gore piles came from!
Cain: It flew by just a few seconds after I had saved. So I reloaded and watched it crash again. That is when I took screenshots!
Acadian: I call it a Nanosword. At least that is what a mod it comes from says.
Ha, sneaking in Power Armor! I can just imagine how silly that must be.
Off-topic kinda, but are you using the voiced protagonist with any of yours? I know it can be disabled through mods. I think I might try it someday, but it'd have to be the right guy or gal.
Wow, that is some heavy duty armor!
Sneaking is fabulous for its contradictions. Aside from the obvious sneaking in that giant metal suit, Elecktra‚Äôs NanoBlade ‚Äď normally impressive in its deadly elegance ‚Äď looks like a toothpick compared to her armor. The armor seems to be screaming for her to wield a telephone pole, or at least a fire hydrant.
Living up to her name in Shocking.
So sayeth the Highlander.
I see Elektra has gone for the subtle approach here with the Flames paint scheme. She's gonna need a bigger sword!
I've got a ton of screenies to share, but for now I'll just post some of Alice's home at Red Rocket. (I said I'd post them a few months ago, whoops). Alice lives here with Cait, a dog, a cat, a Brahmin, some rad chickens and two protectrons.
First up, here's http://imgur.com/ajOdn4I and her trusty guard bots http://imgur.com/GdoRQcT and http://imgur.com/KxYP3q1.
Some shots of Red Rocket exterior: http://imgur.com/DvASC8g, http://imgur.com/A5SI70j, http://imgur.com/EG4dk2n, http://imgur.com/i8O0YDP, http://imgur.com/ihP81O1. As you can see, Alice has walls all around the perimeter so the only way in is through the main gate and the decontamination arch (anything bigger than a super mutant can't fit through). There are 4 heavy laser turrets on the roof and 6 heavy machine gun turrets on the walls.
Red Rocket interior: http://imgur.com/mkRjBOJ, http://imgur.com/gOrUbD5, http://imgur.com/nDkvYyl
Hazmick, your game looks great!
I wish I had a pair of trusty guard bots.
Alice is cute in her Ganesha helmet and clingy pants. I recognize her robo pals from those buildable with the Mechanist dlc.
Fort Red Rocket looks not only well defended, but very green inviting. I usually just ring my settlements with about a dozen gun turrets.
I see Alice has a cat too!
Deathclaw Head Power Armor!
Yep - robots from the dlc. Alice's mask, top, and sloth are from the Nuka World dlc, and the cat (and creature capturing) is from one of the smaller workshop dlc's. The power armour in these pics is from a mod called TES-51 Power Armor -Skyrim Inspired-
Close ups of http://imgur.com/H7wQAjt and http://imgur.com/25KvPO5
Heh, I can't get my head around the power armor's bulkiness. Love the beautiful forests though.
Once out of that power armor, I can see that Alice looks great!
Cripes, look at that sky! I love seeing foreground objects against that sky too.
All those dials on the HUD...what are all those for? Is that vanilla or mods?
Alice looks like a white Grace Jones with her fade-top haircut.
I know that power armor mod. It's the Dragonborn Power Armor. Or something like that. I downloaded it last week! The helmet reminds me of the http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Atlas_(BattleMech) from Battletech.
There be dragons for certain! That must be the Glowing Sea. I have not gotten there yet with any of my characters.
Acadian - Thanks! She's not often out of power armour, but she likes to look her best whenever she is.
Renee - just the vanilla power armour HUD. From left to right the dials are for HP, radiation, suit power, and AP (used for sprinting and power attacks). It looks even cooler when you're in first person mode - really immersive.
Rosa - I love some of the power armour mods out there, and this one's one of my favourites. Bingo! The Glowing Sea is really cool, and the best place to hunt Deathclaws.
Renee: The funny thing is, sneaking still works the same as normal in powered armor!
I am not using any mods to change the character's voice. So far I am happy with it. The voice actress is really good, so it is nice to hear her voice.
Acadian: Elektra does need a bigger blade to use with the power armor. But there are not many options to choose from unfortunately. So she has not found anything yet. But I do not see her wearing the armor very often.
hazmick: I went with the flames mainly because it is red. I wanted to go with the Outcast paint scheme, but apparently the mod that adds it only made it available for the T-45 armor, and not the T-60 as well.
A Robbie collection!
Putting that commie sub commander’s hat to good use?
Flame thrower vs crabs = Flare spell vs mudcrabs. War never changes. . . .
Shadow dancing is very artsy. Great shot and I’ll bet you had fun setting it up.
That new daggersword looks fun though probably a bit too fancy to replace the Elektra’s elegant nannysword.
Mm. Love me some crab cakes. I'm mostly vegetarian IRL but it's hard to resist Maryland crab cakes. Probably Boston ones are tasty too.
I love the Shadow Dancing pic, see that's a total stunt-double right there. Elektra still delivers the lines though.
Lopov: That is no accident about Kremvh's Tooth. It is found in a makeshift temple deep within the depths of Dunwich Borers. It is a sacrificial blade used by a cult of your basic unspeakable Lovecraftian evil. Just like the Krivbe-whatever from FO3. Basically Bethesda continued that Lovecraftian thread into F4, which I thought was pretty neat.
Mirelurks did make it to Boston. In fact, they are probably more common than in FO3, as there are a lot more bodies of water in the Commonwealth. I prefer the look of the FO3 ones though.
Acadian: That is the most Protectrons I have ever been able to find in one place and activate. So far at least. It is always fun setting them loose, and seeing what kind of trouble they stir up.
That is a US captain's hat Elektra has, not the commie one. There is a coast guard hat in addition to those two. There are a lot of hats in this game in general. A lot more than in FO3.
The shadow dancing pic was kind of random actually. I just happened to look down and I noticed Elektra's shadow as she crept along the roof of that truck trailer. I liked how it looked, so I zoomed in on it and took a pic.
The new sword was fun to try, but its kind of evil, in a Stormbringer sort of way. So Elektra won't be putting it to any more use.
Renee: Who was the old lady at Willem's Wharf in FO3? She says her sons are out hunting 'lurks, because the meat doesn't squirm around in your guts like molerat does.
I was thinking that was Elektra's stunt double too!
A friendly deathclaw!? That's something not seen before. So father claw and momma claw argued and father claw took her egg which Elektra returned. That explains why momma was grateful and let Elektra go. But what would happen if Elektra got too close?
Lol @ Hanging around!
Hanging around looks like Elektra stumbled into Loviatar’s food storage locker.
I smiled at the Minsc / Highlander refs.
Aww, MamaClaw seems like MamaGriz.
Lopov: It was actually a mercenary group known as the Gunners who stole the deathclaw eggs. You find their remains in the Museum of Witchcraft. It made me think of Jurassic Park 3, where the Raptors are chasing the characters because one of them has stolen a raptor egg. So far I have done that the same way with Hecate and Elektra, and the MamaClaw has let them both go. I have never had the nerve to try to get too close to her however!
Acadian: Thankfully that is a synth in the hanging around pic. So no sign of Loviatar moving north to Boston, yet...
MamaClaw is a lot more scary than ManaGriz. I was going through a ravine in one area and came across a dead bear. Then a second dead bear. I was wondering what could kill two of those and decided to head back. That is when I saw the Deathclaw that had killed the bears. I gave it a wide berth, and came across two more dead bears in the process!
Bad spot to make camp is right! Especially since it looked like it cost the camper an arm and a leg to stay there.
Woot! ET has landed. Take me to your leader. Without a head, looks like he no longer needs his ray gun. That alien stuff looks like a fun change of pace!
Acadian: The alien blaster reminds me of the rayguns in the old 50's movies.
Teddy bears have done really well since the apocalypse. Every time Alice finds one it seems to be having a great time.
Aww, bonkin' bears!
Heh, I know what to expect when you say disarmament.
Wow, hazmat ninja certainly has her protective gear on.
Oh, Robbie needs a bath, does he?
Jedi Mistress taking down boy with baseball bat!
People often make camps in wrong places in TES games.
Is that the same UFO she spotted earlier? I guess so.
The alien at least found some company on Earth.
Guess it was hostile just like Zetans in FO3.
Is Alien Blaster as powerful as in FO3?
Aliens stole raider's leg.
A few drinks was enough for Teddy Bear to jump on Jenny Bear.
Good looking hazmat/diving suit.
Stinky is under influence of some yellowish spell from TES lore.
The power-armored guy doesn't seem too keen on approaching Elektra.
Hmm....how did those bears get that way? Seriously, did Beth do that? I'm a little shocked, if so.
Elektra's stunt double took the day off for these, methinks. This way that rider in her contract (which specifies extra pay for actual appearances) get fulfilled. Hmm, actually in the Obi-Wan Kenobi pic, that could be her double.
hazmick: Teddy bears are the wildest creatures in the Wasteland!
Acadian: Elektra is a hazmick ninja.
I think I figured out why Robbie had that big brown cloud around him. Legendary creatures (they have the word Legendary in their name) can mutate when they go under 50% health. It heals them up, gives them a damage bonus, and I think it might give them a random perk). That Robbie was a Legendary Protectron, so I think he mutated.
Jedi Elektra was taking on Darth Raidericus.
Lopov: I guess the bright side is that camper was not murdered by Raiders, or eaten by a giant mutant monster.
That was the same UFO that Elektra saw crash earlier. It took a long time for her to cross the map and get to the crash site.
I think that alien was a Zetan. The recon craft looked a lot like the one in FO3.
The Alien Blaster is pretty good. I think the Firelance did more damage, but I believe this one is about the same as the Captain's Blaster. One neat thing is that it is fully configurable at the weapon workbench, and you can even modify it to work off of standard energy ammo. So you can still use it after you run out of the alien ammo.
Renee: Beth did that with those bears. It is like the ones in the Teddy Bear factory in FO3, where they are drinking liquor, and one is going down on another...
Aaah the classic Sanctuary Hills Brahmin glitch. That takes me back.
Love that Deathclaw shot - what a beautiful beast!
I thought big skeeters was imposing until I saw mama deathclaw. Wow, looks like Godzilla!
What a cool pose in front of the Unstoppables sign.
Aww, Elektra of the Faint Smile.
Lol @ first picture. I wonder if other games have such silly glitches like Bethesda games do.
"Watch you Step" = "Okay Elektra's got this one, stunt double, stand aside. Everybody ready? ... ACTION!"
Sheesh those are some big mosquitos. I'd be trying to find a flamethrower against those! ... or at least a can of Raid + a Bic lighter.
Ah, lovely Lopov-style close-up. "That's a wrap!" the director says.
Stuck indeed! How did it get there in the first place?
Disgusting skeeters? Are these some kind of mantis?
Deathclaws seem very common in Commonwealth. Are they as dangerous as in previous games?
Stuck volume 2!
Friendly Elektra in the company of the sexy man.
hazmick: And that cow keeps getting stuck in that one building in Sanctuary Hills. I think there must be a spawn point inside it, because even after I use the console to get it unstuck, it ends up back there a few days later.
It is great to see a deathclaw side by side with a human. You really see how awesome they are in comparison.
Acadian: Talk about a bull in a china shop. Fallout has Brahim in a... well, ruin...
That basically was Godzilla!
Now Elektra just needs a bow!
Renee: Every game has its glitches, but I think Bethesda is the company most famous for their hilarity. Like Skyrim's flying horses, or dragons flying backward.
There is a unique flamethrower placed near a nest of giant mosquitos...
You know I just realized that the original Star Wars movies all end with a classic Lopov shot, of the main characters all lined up looking directly at the camera.
Lopov: I have no idea how that Brahmin got in the house. But it keeps getting itself in or on there!
That skeeter is a giant mutant mosquito, called a Bloodbug. There are also giant dragonflys, called Stingwings.
Deathclaws seem a lot more common than they were in Fallout 3. Maybe about the same as New Vegas. I would say they probably have the same stats. But like in New Vegas, you can get more powerful weapons and perks that improve your damage. So they are easier to deal with than in FO3. I think Elektra is doing about 200 points of damage with a regular hit with her sword, and if she sneak attacks it is 1,000. So she can one-shot a Deathclaw if she sneaks up on it.
The sexy man is Edward Deegan. He's actually one of the cooler guys in the game, and part of one of the neatest questlines.
Great ‚Äėbarbarienne‚Äô outfit. It looks like a good costume for ESO.
There are many toilets. . . but these three are mine!
Wow, that Mirelurk is one ugly [insert Arnold line from Predator].
But in the end ‚Äď we know what‚Äôs coming next. That is a fabulous shot of Elektra in her victory stance.
Uh oh. Looks like Elektra’s gonna stick her blade where the sun don’t shine. Okay, I she decided to stand and go for a back shot instead.
Big Gurl Gunz with Fire!
Elektra the Barbarian!
Better to be a toilet queen than a mirelurk queen.
At least the raider didn't die hungry.
Whoever Elektra is rocking with, seems to be in pieces which are landing around Elektra.
Acadian: The Grognak does kind of look like those towels everyone was wearing in ESO.
Were you expecting http://www.defunkd.com/product/WY6435/vintage-metallica-1980s-metal-up-your-ass-tour-t-shirt to happen to that noodle-eating Raider?
Lopov: Elektra the Barbarian is getting downright Medieval on people.
Winter Wolf: I saw some of those orbital Deathclaws in Old Olney once. They kept spawning at one point, and going straight up into the sky.
In first two shots Elektra is dressed for the Mafia game!
Is the wooden ship with the captain the same one who flew for a while before it crashed again?
Muties always had an exceptional taste for art.
Looks like a toilet in Casa Rattler.
Elektra doesn't appreciate artists.
Great woman, great sword, great background.
Wow, that gangster hat looks fabulous on Electra ‚Äď like it was made just for her!
Eeek! That certainly is a doozy of a first step.
Did Elektra join the Navy of the Boston Commonwealth?
I guess you’d have to be a mutie to appreciate their artsiness.
Lots of folks losing their heads to the twilight ninja!
Lopov: Some of the NPCs in the game take a lot of inspiration from old gangster movies, like a gang called The Triggermen. They all use Tommy Guns and wear suits. Benny missed his calling! But the Silver Shroud is actually a radio serial Pulp Fiction style hero. The same company that makes the Grognak comics made the radio serials (which are in the game).
The wooden ship is indeed the same Constitution as before, with Old Ironsides himself serving as her skipper. Elektra visited it in its new location, atop a taller skyscraper than before.
Casa Rattler! Don't speak his name, or the Devil may appear!!!
Acadian: The gangster stuff in Fallout 4 is cool.
Captain Ironsides of the U.S.S. Constitution gave Elektra a battlefield commission as Lieutenant. That is about as official as it can get 210 years after the Apocalypse!
I guess Elektra is a woman to lose your head over...
Elektra tackling Automatron I see - lots of robofun to be had.
That zweihander is nice! I need to get something like that for Alice. Power Armour makes all the melee weapons in the base game look so tiny.
Mr Pebbles is adorable!
I see Hottie’s wearing her full heavy metal jacket.
Just a fiery little fatman bomb. . . .
Woot! A big gurl sword for her big gurl armor!
Some great action shots.
More power armor! It's hard to tell who is who when they're all wearing power armor. Could be stunt doubles. Probably not though. I guess they'd be classified as ordinary extras. Sorry.
Elektra's head is so small in that big tin can!
The Fatman still lives up to its name.
Is that the same Mechanist as in FO3?
More importantly, is AntAgonizer also present in FO4?
hazmick: I picked up a Super Sledge from a mutant, and thought it would be perfect to use while in power armor. But even it looked small! Only the heavy weapons like miniguns looks good in comparison to the armor.
Acadian: Mr. Pebbles was an adorable surprise.
That Tyrolean Landesknecht sword was one of the biggest weapons I could find, and it still looks kind of like a toothpick when Elektra is wearing the power armor. She needs one of those fire hydrant clubs the Behemoths used in Fallout 3!
Renee: Lots more power armor that episode. The endgame against the Mechanist is a huge, grueling battle. I did it with Hecate without power armor, and it was extremely difficult. So this time Elektra suited up in her best suit of PA, and it made a world of difference.
Lopov: Everything is so small in those giant tin cans!
The Fatman is still the Fatman. With a high enough Gun Nut perk, you can even mod it into a MIRV Launcher.
It turns out it is a different Mechanist than the one in FO3. I thought that was clever, because this way no matter what you did in FO3, the FO4 Mechanist does not contradict it. Sadly, there is no AntAgonizer, not even any Anty mods. Come to think of it, there are no Ant creatures at all. All the bugs are mutated flies, mosquitoes, and dragonflies.
I remember the first time Alice saw Swan, she used V.A.T.S to scope him out while he was still under water. She promptly turned around and ran away.
Elektra's much braver going toe-to-toe with him!
Elektra of the Faint Smile and with tattooed Power Armor.
She found a drinking buddy!
Teddy in the pumpkin!
Is Swan a behemoth? He looks tough! Is he some sort of a boss character?
It'd be nice if Elektra could drive that tank behind Swan.
Eh, I see she brought it down without any tank.
Faint Smile brings memories of Teresa to mind.
Drinkin’ Buddy the beer droid! C3BudP0.
Motley crew at the tea party.
Really like Elektra's face in 'If only were true'.
Ship‚Äôs anchor ‚Äď just the big gurl weapon for Elektra when in her big gurl armor!
Well done, Jedi.
Ahh, yes, Swan!
On my first playthru I left him in the pond for almost 100 hours. On my second playthru a stupid Raider from the Combat Zone decided that he would run through the park and wake him up. Consequently every time I paid the place a visit he was up and looking for a fight and I had to sneak.
Great to see a close up pic of him in the water. Neat!
Where is that tea party meeting? I cannot remember if I have been there. The horsey with the bowler hat looks great!
hazmick: I was guessing that something was in Boston Common, from all the warning signs around it. I had no idea it would be a Behemoth though!
Elektra has been going toe to toe with Deathclaws and Mirelurk Queens for some time now. So she does not worry about Behemoths. The bigger they come, the harder she hits...
Lopov: I thought the drinking droid was a fun touch. He's basically a walking still.
Swan is a unique Behemoth. He uses a ship anchor for a club, and one of the swan boats from the pond for armor over one arm and shoulder.
The armored personnel carriers and tanks in the game would be fun to drive. Maybe someone will make a mod to do that. I just saw my first motorcycle mod yesterday, but have not tried it yet.
Acadian: Given her skills with the sword, this Faint Smiler is more like https://youtu.be/qcrrNq3On4A than our Teresa.
How come no one in Star Wars ever thought of a Liquor Droid!
There is a mod that allows you to use that anchor for a weapon. But it is about three times the size of a human, so even in power armor, it looks ridiculous to use.
Winter Wolf: Swan was fun, especially when he leaped up out of the pond. I did not see that coming!
I cannot remember where the Tea Party was. I have been exploring the south-east part of the map, so it is probably somewhere around Andrew Station or the General Atomics Factory.
Renee: One thing I like about the voiced protagonist is that it also comes with those cinematic shots like those close ups when you are talking to NPCs.
Swan never laid a finger on Elektra with that anchor. Thank goodness, else he'd have send her half way to China!
First I ever heard of TotFS was the dear elven lass who starred in your fanfic. So this ‚Äėoriginal‚Äô one seems like an anime copycat who missed the mark.
Looks like Elektra brought her own excitement to an otherwise boring TV night.
Oh my! I sure hope that isn’t Jerric with the big fishing pole!
Nice puppies! Oh, wait. . . .
That is a cool looking building with the baseballer out front.
Diamond City looks like someone put Boston and Las Vegas in a blender!
That is one spooky looking detective with his green draugr eyes.
When I saw the Reporter, my eyes went to the moose and my mind went to ‚ÄėWhere‚Äôs mALX the squirrel?‚Äô
Ahh, there’s Elektra of the Faint Smile.
Some of these are hilarious. What's she doing in that TV pic? Looks like she's sneaking up on something or someone.
Diamond City looks very Bethesda-ish...yet another confusing place to explore. Lol.
Watching TV in good but silent company.
The fisherman caught his own head!
Nice looking hat on the skeleton with the brahmin skull. Did Elektra claim it for herself?
Does that baseball player come alive as you approach?
The Detective isn't cute.
The Reporter is cute.
The Sole Survivor is very cute.
Elektra is gorgeous! Love these... especially the reporter
Here's PS4 Matty. Did the best I could with the resources I had!
Very handsome, Rihanae. That pic looks rather comic book-ish.
Acadian: That fisherman was killed before the Great War, so I think Jerric is still safe. Besides, there would be a skeleton Ulfe beside him if that was Jerric...
The building with the baseball player statue is none other than Fenway Park, now Diamond City (which is located on the playing field, i.e. the baseball diamond.).
The Detective is a synth, hence his electronic eyes, and half-missing skin. He's a pretty cool guy.
Thankfully there is no sign of Boris or Natasha yet!
Renee: Elektra is in sneak mode in the tv picture. But that was after she killed everyone in the room.
Diamond City is actually pretty easy to get around. Almost everything is in a ring around that central post. There is a second ring of buildings around that one, but it only has a few things. Then past it is the outfield, which is pretty much wide open.
Lopov: I did not take any of the items from the skeletons. I did not want to disturb the scene.
Thankfully the statue does not come alive and attack, like the Gargoyles from Dawnguard.
Rihanae: I spent a lot of time working on Elektra, so I am glad she came out ok.
Matty looks like a superhero, or an old Sci Fi hero like Buck Rodgers!
Nice. A few lovely close-ups in this session.
And then Led Zeppelin comes to town, ha ha.
That Mirelurk queen... looks like she's having some fun there. From a distance it's hard to tell. Whole Lotta Love indeed.
Uh oh. Looks like the Death Star with its tiltrotor escort just showed up. Beautiful sky though!
Ahah! Brotherhood of Steel Death Star. Elektra’s twin crossed blades on her back look kewl.
Wow, that Mirelurk queen would be taller than the nearby utility poles if she had better posture! I think I’d be sneaking too, Elektra.
The bigger they are, the harder she hits (just like Minsc).
Oh I love that silhouette of sneaky Elektra against that beautiful starry sky.
Yup, the eyes have it.
What an adorable face on Elektra’s final shot!
Love these shots!
Those shots with the Queen are amazing. The more lurk queen does terrify me though!
Eyes is great. I do miss great armour mods. Darn PS4 mod restrictions!
Elektra really is stunning! More selfies please!
Some of Matty.
Wow, Matty really is a glamour boy! I don't play FO but he and Piper certainly do look good together!
There we go. Elektra has a co-star!
Matt's glamour shot looks like it came straight from Venice Beach!
I guess blondes do have more fun!
I still get mini panic attacks when I come across Mirelurk Queens. That acid spit can really own you.
@SubRosa - that's an advanced zeppelin! Does it have a detachable vertibird under it?
The Mirelurk queen seems to be far away from any water source.
Elektra Sparrow! I assume she didn't want to get wet to reach the ship.
Elektra sure seems satisfied with her work in the last pic.
@Rihanae - blonde model Matty!
At least the Great War didn't make it impossible for people to look great.
Renee: Led Zeppelin is making another bombing run! Elektra is not really feeling a whole lotta love though. More like good times, bad times...
Those Mirelurk Queens are good eatin!
Acadian: It is sort of like the Death Star. Only there is no Luke Skywalker, Lando Calrissian, or even Dameron Poe around the Commonwealth...
I liked that pic of the Queen because the bus puts her size in perspective.
Rihanae: The first time I saw a Mirelurk Queen come bursting up through the beach I have to admit it did terrify me. But as Minsc would say: "The bigger they are, the harder I hit!"
Cain: TBH, the Mirelurk Queens are a pushover for Elektra. If she is in VATS she typically one shot kills them. The same with Deathclaws. Not much can last more than one hit against her in normal combat. If she sneak attacks, nothing survives the first blow. She is over level 60 now, with the melee weapon perk maxxed out, blacksmith maxxed and her sword buffed up to full damage possible, and other perks that helps melee like the Strength one that increases your damage when standing still, not to mention Better Criticals and Four Leaf Clover maxxed.
Lopov: The Brotherhood Zeppelin does have docking stations for several vertibirds. Maybe 4 or 6 from the look of it. I have never been on it yet though, so I am not sure how many. They must have a lot of vertibirds to throw away, because ever since they showed up, Brotherhood 'birds have been flying all over the Commonwealth picking fights with every raider, mutant, or feral they come across.
The Mirelurk Queen is just off the beach. The ocean is directly behind Elektra, and the sand she is on is the beach itself.
Momma Ghoul has great shoes.
Mirelurk queens sure seem a common pest. Is their spawning level-dependent or are they in preset locations?
I see a lighthouse behind Elektra. I'm not sure how many are there in Commonwealth but so far there has been only one in Point Lookout.
He stepped on his own head.
I absolutely love the incongruity between the ghoulish family and mom’s pretty dress.
Wow, Fatman sings pretty loudly!
Aww, Teddy’s got a new pimped out ride.
Wicked-looking blade Elektra‚Äôs sporting in ‚Äėfens‚Äô.
In ‚Äėhead over heels‚Äô Elektra‚Äôs armor looks positively electrifying.
Lopov: I noticed that the ghoul family is looking pretty good after 200 years. Dress, shoes, even their house was all in good order.
There are some spots where the Mirelurk Queens are definitely predetermined. But I think they also are part of the very high end of leveled lists as well, because they become more common at high level.
There are several lighthouses in the Commonwealth. I never counted, 3 or 4 at least, maybe more. The entire eastern edge of the map is coastline, so there are plenty of opportunities for them.
Acadian: Ghoul Momma definitely knows how to dress to impress!
The Fatman wins every Rap Battle!
Elektra is sporting an upgraded blade for her sword. It is longer, has that cut out in the center, and does more damage. She does about 5,000 points of damage in a sneak attack now.
Elektra's armor is made to complement her name! Or perhaps it was the other way around...
Great shots! I love the glowing Deathclaw (my third favourite glowing creature, after Molerats and Radstags), and the Glowing Sea is always a fun time.
Ralph Kramden. . . the name is familiar. Ah, Jackie Gleason show. Then as soon as I saw the shot it all came back ‚Äď the bus driver!
Rainbow Robots on patrol!
Wow, Joe does indeed look pretty mean. And big. But as Minsc often says, the bigger they are. . . .
If you are Elektra, you damn well simply walk into anywhere you want!
Hahahahaaaa "Abbey Road". I wonder which one's supposed to be Paul. I think Paul was the shoeless one in that pic.
Yikes... Mordor. What part of Boston is that supposed to be? Or... I guess it's like the Capital Wasteland, in which all the suburbs have been wiped out.
Where did you find all those Protectrons at?
hazmick: I think the Glowing Radroaches are one of the coolest looking critters, and the Glowing Radstags.
The Glowing Sea was a Deathclaw Smackdown! You couldn't swing a dead ghoul without hitting one!
Acadian: I used to watch the Honeymooners all the time when I was little. "One of these days Alice!"
Elektra does walk wherever she wants these days! Thanks to all of her perks, she does something on the order of 5,000 points of damage on a sneak attack.
Renee: The Mordor pics are of The Glowing Sea. It is an area south west of Boston that got hit really hard by the nukes. There are no buildings left standing. Some have been completely buried however, and still have parts underground you can get into. Naturally it is all highly radiaoactive. The Rad Storms you sometimes see in the rest of the Commonwealth all blow in from the Glowing Sea.
I think those four protrectrons came from Neponset Park. It was Robotics Pioneer Park. They were all in a single little building, and turned on all at once with the computer terminal there. I have never seen that many in one place, so I had to get a pic of them all. Watch out for the Deathclaw nearby...
Yeah, but the Deathclaws are what keep bringing Alice back to the Glowing Sea - good hunting. I have a mod that makes glowing creatures emit light, which makes them look even more awesome.
Ooh shiny shiny Institute.
Quite the collection Elektra has going there!
Wow, SubRosa, your game looks fantastic. That meeting with Shaun and seeing the institute look quite. . . sterile. That institute place looks very imposing though - a synth factory I'm guessing? Aww, Elektra at home with her little pony flanked by legions of bobblebears. Beautiful night sky. . . well, except for the bloody raider trying to do a moon launch.
hazmick: I modded the Deathclaw Steaks to give you +2 Endurance instead of the +1 Agility. I thought that made more sense. Considering that they are Deathclaws!
I keep most of Elektra's stuff in containers. There are only a few things she actually has laying around on shelves or the desk.
Acadian: The Institute has your basic Death Star interior. High tech and soulless. It matches their goals.
What a cool story! Loved Elektra disguising herself and sneaking into the Deathstar via VertiBirdie. Leaving charges and slipping away was brilliant. Such fun to watch the Deathstar exploding and falling from the sky. Let it burn!
Subrosa: Elektra is stunning! And fierce looking. All the action shots are cool and I'll miss seeing more now Elektra story is over.
Rihanae: Matty is HAWT. I think I'll use instagram for Eva Bree's shots. Love the filters and the cartoon nature of them. How did you make Piper a blonde? I've scoured the console mod list and can't seem to find anything?
EDIT: I took a leaf out of Rihanae's book and am using instagram for my screens as I'm on Xbox. I don't know why I hadn't thought of using this before! https://www.instagram.com/p/BRBLeDZhglt/. She's a redhead, but you can't really see with this screen.
TheCheshireKhajiit: I almost used "Oh the humanity!" for one of the picture names. But I was not sure if anyone would understand the reference.
Acadian: Elektra was definitely using the Force in those pics. The force of her right arm and sword!
Diamandis: It took me a long time to get Elektra's look together. Once I decided that she was going to be a ninja, I actually created two separate versions of her. One Asian with black hair, and one with red. I went with the red because it looked better with her red and black armor. Since I was going red hair, I made her more Western in appearance, and used the name Elektra.
Eva is cute as a button in her pre-war world!
Goodbye Institute - the number one source of clean clothes in the wasteland.
Ah, Elektra met Captain Zao! One of the most interesting NPCs in the game.
I'm loving Elektra's armor. Also love the look on her face in 'high explosive present' - priceless!
The banter between Tinker Tom and Deacon during the vertibird ride alone makes the RR questline my favorite. The missus and I were giggling like fools when I did that ending.
hazmick: Their clothes might be clean, but their fashion sense leaves much to be desired! I think the clothing world is better off without them.
I really liked Captain Zao and his beloved Yangtze. It would have been cool if you could have seen it surface and sail away.
Acadian: That Nano Suit was a good find. It is one of the top kudo'ed armor mods on the F4 Nexus.
TheCheshireKhajiit: I remember hearing (and seeing) the clip of the Hindenburg disaster back from childhood. The Led Zeppelin album cover helped too. I saw a documentary about it last year, and it stunned me to learn that about half the people onboard lived. Some jumped from the flaming zeppelin, but many just walked out. In some cases one person lived, while the person standing right next to them died.
Cain: Tikker Tom is one of my favorite characters in F4. He does not have much depth. But he is very colorful. I found that is one of the secrets to writing good characters. Especially when you have a large cast and cannot give a lot of attention to every character. Instead give each person something interesting that makes them stand out, so they are memorable. Tinker Tom is very memorable!
Power armour and miniguns - that's all a girl needs. That and sewer Deathclaws.
Welcome to Annie! Based on her hair color, I'm sure she'll have more fun in Boston. Her face looks fabulous - you are so good at that. Heavy metal vs Godzilla!
Welcome to Kim! Wait. . . this doesn't look like Coldharbour!
hazmick: That is a fun little set-piece in Concord. I can see why they used it in all the preview videos. Though it all seems to happen a little early in the game.
Acadian: It was not easy to get that hair color. I had to use a mod. The vanilla game has four varieties of what they call blond hair. Each one is a different shade of brown.
TheCheshireKhajiit: Kim looks fabulous. Her name makes me think she is either Korean or Vietnamese. In either case, it means she has a long history of fighting prowess in her genes.
Annie ley oak... annie oakley. How have i ONLY just got that ūüėā
Love these. A stunning blonde with a keen eye for sniper rifles... my kinda gal!
Close ups? STUNNING.
How nice of mirocu to lend a helping hand
You have such a great eye for great shots. Keep 'am coming! I'm excited to see how Annie's journey progresses.
I know what you mean about the hair colors. ESO has medium brown or light brown. Happily the light brown looks pretty good for a honey blonde. The more
yellow gold for Annie looks great for her environs. In fact I simply adore her 'California blue-eyed blonde' look. As you know, I'm much more a fan of that than the goth look that you often enjoy with your characters.
Thanks for the close ups! Both Annie and your game look fabulous!
More pics from Kim-Ly's adventures in the Commonwealth:
It's Codpiece! I wonder if you got to name your Mr. Handy after you bought it, or if they each came with their own factory-installed name?
Neat black vault suit. I think I have that mod.
Fort Red Rocket. I have never tried building a lair there. Does Trashcan Carla stop there like she does in Sanctuary Hills?
Two good looking girls here.
Annie looks awesome with that hair color and the hat. SubRosa- do have some NV music happening there on this playthru?
Wow. Kim-Ly looks great with that shiny dark hair and the stealth thing. The washed out cold eyes are a very interesting contrast.
Rihanae: I guess I was more circumspect with Annie's name that I thought!
Annie only borrowed that M14. She occasionally picks one up from a body to make long range shots. But she is not really a sniper. That is Hecate's forte. Annie is a combat infantrywoman, so her M4A1 is her main weapon, and she prefers he business up close.
Acadian: Annie is definitely less goth than my other characters like Persephone or Hecate.
Khajiit - Your game looks great! Love the robots in FO. Aww, ‚Äėdorable doggie. Neat Xbow!
SubRosa ‚Äď Robots on patrol! Whoa, I think we regret this patrol! Nice use of the bots as tanks so Annie can git her gun going. Hee! Annie has the hair for a bobblehead.
Omg the bots in this game look so hilarious! They look like they belong on Teletubbies!
"Stomp" is positively frightening though. Seriously, it looks like that deathie could jump right through my screen.
[censored], I've fallen so far behind. Does Annie = Annie Oakley? Unlike Elektra, it looks like Annie does her own stunts. She doesn't need a double, lol.
SubRosa- Who needs a gun when you have that much robotic support!
Oh no- a Deathclaw squashes everyone! Awesome! I would love to hear the squealing audio from those robots. What was the end result of the battle? Did Annie open fire, or just let things play out? How many robots bit the dust?
CK- Kim Ly is rocking another disguise. What an awesome look! A punk, raider, hunter. That weapon looks dangerous. Do not turn your back! You could pin some crows/raven to the wall with it.
