QUOTE(mirocu @ Jan 3 2014, 08:39 PM) Of course it can, just read Subīs post. Itīs all about simple chemistry.
Sure, stopping the brain from producing seratonin will produce some of the effects. But I don't see how you're going to transmit it, or how long the effect would last. Could you turn a bunch of people into rage monsters with a plane rigged for crop dusting? Yes. Could it create the zombie apocalypse? I don't think so. You've got a better chance of winning the lottery every week for the rest of your life. Do you consider that a likelihood you should consider and prepare for?

Anything is possible. At one point people weren't sure if splitting the atom was possible. Plastic guns were impossible. Reaching the moon was impossible. Having frozen food in places with high temperatures was impossible. If there's one thing that has been proven countless times throughout history it is that there is nothing that is completely impossible. I do agree that zombies or anything resembling them is extremely unlikely. Wouldn't rule anything completely out though. There are two types of fungus that control their hosts to some extent: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ophiocordyceps_sinensishttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ophiocordyceps_unilateralis

QUOTE(mirocu @ Jan 3 2014, 09:04 PM) QUOTE(King Of Beasts @ Jan 3 2014, 10:01 PM) Sometimes i think the government is out to get us lol
I donīt think that anymore. I know it. Just look at the World, it wouldnīt look like it does if they werenīt out to get us I'm sorry, but that's just paranoid. The world is the way it is purely because of greed. It's not governments, it's the rich bastards funding their election campaigns, and they don't want us dead, or they couldn't profit off us. There's more than enough money and food to develop all those third world countries and stop people from ever starving. But there's no profit in it. So it doesn't happen. Those that want change don't have the power to implement it. And those who have the power, don't want te change. But it's not governments that created the modern world, it's capitalism. No, it's both. The government is greedy. They want to suck our savings up for themselves. Itīs interesting how many things that are so bad for us are perfectly legal, but things that arenīt so bad and may even help us is illegal. Weed is legal in Amsterdam

I agree with this statement. However, I'm not above thinking there isn't some hidden agenda somewhere. Give the American government officials our healthcare and paygrade and see how quickly things change around here. Let them live a few months doing what I do (which is not DIFFICULT but it is blue collar work, getting paid juuuuuuuust above minimum wage and still below the poverty line) for the money that I get paid and let them try to live off of that. Then make them think that they'll never get back to where they were before. They'll never again go to a five-star restaurant, or live in anything better than a two-bedroom apartment with crappy maintanence, no washers and dryers, washing their clothes in the sink. Let all of them who never had to work a damn day in their lives do that, who grew up rich and never having to work through public school and having their arts program cut for budget reasons. something the people they govern have to go through. I want someone in office that came from where I am. My only fear is that they'd be torn apart.
