I started reading From A Certain Point of View today. 40 short stories. All seem to take place during A New Hope. The characters are all the 'little' people you see all around the film. From Captain Antillies, the stormtrooper who stunned Leia, the guy who didn't shoot down the escape pod with Artoo and Threepio, one of the Tusken's who knocked out Luke, Aunt Beru, and so on. So far so good.

My favorite part of the trailer is seeing Finn fight Captain Phasma with a Stormtrooper riot baton. Hopefully he'll have a stronger showing than in Episode 7, now he's got a weapon he's presumably been trained for years to use. Plus after his repeated misfortunes in the previous film, the poor guy needs to win a fight for once.
