GAAAAAH! I thought of that song when I was reading about their past in Teresa!

That is what made me think of that song too, their history was so parallel to Freddie Mercury and Mary Austin, and I've always thought of her when I hear Freddie sing "You're My Best Friend" - wondered if he wrote that thinking of her. I played that song after reading that part about Aela in the Teresa story!

Holy Cow, what a powerful song for Teresa! In the vid, when the birds flew up in the air - that was an amazing connection with her, and then listening to the lyrics I knew the change came from Uriel - awesome choice of song for her!

Never heard of it prior to Vurt used it as a background theme in an Ashlands Tree mod for MW. I was instantly in love with the song itself, and as I felt it embodied the aesthetic feel of my own character as I perceive him.

Deep, dark and mysterious. The song is anything but upbeat. More 'haunting' than not, within this darkness of the song there's a sense of despair, but also of wonder and a 'spirituality' all the same, hence the quote in the picture.

Or something like that...

What a great, haunting choice for Maxical and Fathis. I often think Fathis would be better off it it were http://youtu.be/zEXsa-2fv8k. But only in those times I feel sorry for him.




About ten years ago a friend of mine turned me on to Ayumi, and I have been in love with her voice ever since. Who is my favorite song of her's. It always makes me feel like crying. I think it means a lot to her as well, because I watched one performance where she was crying while she sang it, and another where she became so choked up that she could not sing.

Unfortunately I cannot find the original version online, and I think that is the best version. All I can ever find are live versions or a remix she did recently. The remixed music does not do anything for me, it feels overproduced. The original was just a heartfelt piano and Ayumi's haunting voice. The trouble with the live versions is that I think that is her closing song, so by the time she sings it she is tired from two hours of singing and dancing, and she always interrupts the song halfway though to introduce her band. If you can ever find her Loveppears album it is on that, maybe I-Tunes or Amazon has it for download.





I loved I'm Gonna Get You Sucka! That was such a fun movie.

Excellent song for Seth. It has a real Dunmeri/Morrowindish feel to it, especially the vocals.




Fat Bottom Girls is one of my favorite Queen songs!

I had the same feeling just reading the lyrics. I would like to hear the original, that is not a song one should interrupt to introduce the band at all, that would subtract the impact totally for those who understood the lyrics as they were being sung.

"Excellent song for Seth. It has a real Dunmeri/Morrowindish feel to it, especially the vocals." - I felt that strongly too, the vocals on that were absolutely perfect for Seth's character, and for the Morrowind Dunmer voice.

mALX, Gils� is a heartbreaker.

Now that is a bottle-breaking, ass kicking, adrenaline-fueled song!

Oh wow, I actually know the Bass Player from that band!

He retired to the city in the Subway I worked at, and came in all the time with the family. Their hyperactive daughter loved me especially. Jumping up and down when I was there. It might have been the free cookies I gave them.

I know your pain about doing internet searches about Live! I have been a fan of them for a long time. I even used Ed Kowalczyk as a character in my old pen and paper Shadowrun game.

Love Prince! Let's Go Crazy always makes me think of a particular stallion of my friends'. You really need a powerful female singer to keep up with Annie, especially when she is in full-on rock mode. Come to think of it, it's not a bad fit for Ungarion either, based on what I've seen of him so far!

As you know, Buffy spends most of her days riding the wilderness and most of her nights sharing a campfire under the stars with her precious mare. In her world, a Bosmer's love of the wilderness and approach to hunting is inspired much more by American Indians than TES lore. Therefore, I found this haunting song wonderfully appropriate to capture some of her feelings -

It's actually the theme music for Borderlands 2, but it's what I was listening to when Telindil dropped into my head. Not entirely sure how that worked out, but I can't listen to it without him springing to mind, rather than Borderlands 2.

When I picked the Terminator 2 intro as Lothran´s theme I was quite the jester. I chose it as a laugh because I didn´t know what song to really pick as his theme. Now I do.

This song has been shot to pieces at countless graduations and other occasions but nevertheless I feel this song captures Lothran´s life and future quite well. It´s not meant to be interpreted as his ending, but rather the point in life where he pauses and looks back on all the things he´s done, both good and bad, and what still lies before him. Because his adventures in Cyrodiil are far from over. In a way, they have only just begun...

I thought it was well suited as the theme to showcase his long life of adventures and the slight turn it has taken to the more domestic approach in the winter. Though I do think he will become much more active again in the spring. After all, there are many more spells to make and many caves to revisit

I'm fascinated by characters that can transcend time (Blood Raven, Wonder Woman, Highlander, elves in general), either by outliving it or traveling through it. Bood Raven is very cool - I love how she doesn't quite fit in to the time in which she meets Stormcrow. The song is appropriate, given the dark aspects harbored by the good Blood Raven - if that makes sense.
