You dont know how hard these are to even make. Morrowind's was made, but it had horrid response times between characters, and you couldnt save. It was never that good..

Wasn't that Morrowind one only between 2 people at the same time, too? We downloaded that but never got around to trying it. Sounded too complicated to install and synchronize.

Yeah, 2 people only. My friend and I were playing it. I would run off. And he would follow. 20 seconds later he just walks along the path.

It wasnt that hard. Get two computers on the same network. Get a fresh install of morrowind. Follow the install instructions. Connect the computers. And start a game.

sad.gif Thats pretty bad. And even if we did get a more advanced system of P V P it wouldn't be very fun. There'd be Deadra armed Warriors waiting at the end of the Starting-Caves for the newbs who come out and Deadric Weapon + Newb = Bloody mess.

Yeah it wasn't very good, and it took them forever to finish. These games just aren't meant for multiplayer. Some things are best played alone and I think that both Morrowind and Oblivion are those sort of games.

This is a thread about multiplayer mods. Not neverwinter nights. Neverwinter nights thread is already existing.

Its actually pretty neat how the morrowind online mod works, though. Both games have a special NPC created, according to the other players save. Then it makes a temporary mod to add that NPC into the game! After it has done all that, you start the game. The NPC is under the programs control. And it is taking actions done by the other player, and making it so the other person on your screen does that.

Pretty intelligent idea.

that is pretty clever...

the only way i could think of an oblivion multiplayer working would be if it created worlds for players of similiar level. like a 1-5 level world, a 6-10. or overlap them. 1-5, 3-8, 6-10, whatever. or an arena combat one that pitted people of about the same level against each other.
